  • First Time I have heard of them

Anybody have experience with this company

    • +1

they have been mentioned here many times before. they mainly sell camera

    • I've spent about $2k all
(on various lenses) with these guys- cheap pricing and surprisingly quick shipping from hong kong.

      • Same here purchased my 7D with them, arrived quick and perfect, would buy again for sure.

Just don't use your credit card directly at their website, use paypal. It's well known your credit card could be unauthorised use!

They're pretty good. I bought a DSLR from them and received it within 3 days. They also have a storefront in NSW for warranty purposes.

Yup DWI are pretty reputable. I've bought 2 5D Mark II's from them and a couple of L lenses. If you buy from their website make sure you use Paypal as has been stated above. Their eBay shop is sometimes cheaper for the same item too, so make sure you check that first.

Agree with the super fast shipping - most times if you get your order in before 12pm they send it out the same day, takes around 2-3 days to get to Australia via FedEx :)

  • Really the 3g version, not bad then

    • I was under the impression the 3G playbook hadn't even been released yet….? It still doesn't have native email or BB messenger….

Yeah, whirlpool feedback volume is quite high, and consensus is good (as long as you use paypal, as waterproof mentioned.)

I've bought 3 Canon DSLR bodies & various lenses from them, over the last 2 years. Delivery was always 3 days from x to Perth. No issues with any of the gear I've purchased.

  • JB are going to cannibalize this mob very soon

  • Just FYI some guys at whirlpool did successfully ask Apple to price match WOW for iPad 2 WiFi only for $499
    (http://www.1wow.com.au/apple-ipad-2-wi-fi-16gb-white-br-in-s…)

  • Also, DWI is having free delivery as their christmas special, making this a sweeter deal, i suppose

  • I said this in the other post as well:

Use codeword LIKEDWI for free upgrade to Priority shipping (worth $15). Just make sure you select the regular standard shipping at checkout at first.

The only thing about DWI I did not like is that all the payment options incur some sort of surcharge, except for Direct Deposit.
