  • The enema of coupon codes.

  • Just got one. Back in stock from cancellations I’m guessing.

  • Are people really cancelling their order because this vacuum doesn't have a carpet roller attachment? Seems impulsive..
Are the v9/10 roller brushes compatible? The accessories have different tubing but the brush heads may be the same.

    • Buying impulsive and cancel impulsive by other's comments. I had to read product description more carefully.

    • There's another good deal going on Dreame V9 if you are after carpet brush. That may be the reason why lot of people cancelled this one. Bothe are great deals just one is better than other depending on your need.

      • Thanks, I contacted the store & Xiaomi to see if there is a carpet head attachment for this but haven't received a response yet.

Unfortunately I didn't receive any feedback from the store whether I could cancel my order and the Dreame v9 combo deal has sold out.

It can be confusing with the large number of Xiaomi variants as to what differences each product has. This product seems to be an all-in-one, but only really suited to hard floors & mats.

  • +2

thanks TA! got one cos my dyson V6 fluffy finally died from your last ebay deal…

  • 400+ +ve votes, what can I say, bought.

  • Bought one

    • I bought one too but canceled next day after I found this is not good for carpet cleaning.

  • -5

Better off buying the $89 vac from Bunnings, it cleans up water, dust and everything, and if it blows up buy another one.

  • Reading the comments on AliExpress few people buying the Dreame carpet brush confirm it is compatible with the 1C, it's an extra $85 but still coming out cheaper than any other alternatives!

I've cancelled my order and bought in to the Dreame T20 crowd funding. It's in production and will be here in Nov. Worth a punt at $350 it's got a number of things over the Dyson V11 where as this 1C has a number of annoyances.

  • +2

    Looking at this - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/575872

Not sure if the 1C on this deal was a good purchase or the other deal above ;-/

    • +1

      Hate when this happens.

    • I sent an email to cancel my order as I need carpet cleaning as well. Finger crossed… sad…

    • Ouch! that's an even better deal! Ended up cancelling this and going with the Dreame Combo.
Called Mobileciti and they didn't have any problems cancelling and refunding the order.

      • i tried to call but went into voicemail :(

      • same. hope they check the email on Monday.

        • Got my refund processed today so I think you're good ;-)

    • It wasn't, unless you have no carpet. This new post is a better deal.

    • I'm a bit lost on the big differences.. so I found this:

"Dreame V9 is practically the same as Xiaomi Mijia 1C. Dreame V9 and Xiaomi Mijia 1C show almost identical performance and both have similar brush heads in the package. The main difference is that Dreame V9 has more input power (400W vs 350W) and slight differences in design.:

I'm just going to keep my order with mobiciti, cbf waiting on refunds etc and going with gearbite for $10 difference (also I have minimal carpet areas at my place).

      • Me too just sticking with my order. Anyways only wanted this vacuum for cleaning bookshelves and computer tables. For power, performance can't beat the Miele corded vacuum.

      • I haven't been able to get clarity yet on whether the carpet roller brush can be purchased separately and installed in place of the soft brush.

It's a bit disappointing that they don't clearly state that this is missing a carpet attachment, when similar models seem to require one.

I'm still not sure whether to stick with the Xiaomi Mi 1C with only the soft roller, wait for the next batch of Dreame V9 combo packs or purchase the Dreame T20 with only a soft roller.

        • Attachments are not compatible. A YouTube video has both models and physically demonstrated this. I think the video is in this thread. Go a V9 combo.

          • @fatty: The video shows that the tubing are slightly different attachments but the accessories are identical in size.

My question is, for the carpet head roller, there is a carpet brush inside the attachment that is replaceable. Can this brush head be installed in place of the soft roller? They appear to be the same size but I'm unsure if they are interchangeable.

The other option is to take the v9 carpet head roller and replace the attachment connector with the mi 1c. I haven't seen this part sold separately though.

          • @fatty: Yes AND no… look at that video again, the attachments from the C1 can't be used in the V9 because the tubes have an extra groove at the bottom BUT the attachments from the V9 CAN be used in the C1. Many people in the reviews of the V9 carpet head mention how it works perfectly on their V9.

            • +1

@not4us: That video https://youtu.be/P-Gm7JBCZi8?t=217 shows the attachments from the 1C do not fit in the Dreame. But it doesnt show the attachments from the Dreame actually fitting in the 1c.

I've ordered this but am debating if i should ring up tomorrow to cancel, as the lack of accessories available is concerning. It would be nice if a rep could jump on here and clear up some of the confusion with this

            • @not4us: Sorry, meant the reviewers on AliExpress comment on ho the V9 carpet head fits perfectly on their 1C.
But I know what you mena, this is not official and a bit of a long shot if it doesn't work.
I need a carpet head so ended up cancelling the order with Mobileciti and ordering the V9 combo from Gearbite just to be safe.

              • +1

@not4us: I asked the store MobileCiti whether there is a carpet head attachment for this product or whether I could use the V9/V10 carpet head attachment, as the reviews were stating that it's necessary for carpeted houses.

They sent through a refund, so I guess that means there is limited support/information on this product.

I think I'll stick with my corded vacuum for the time being and wait for the V12/13/14 etc. for a better multiple surface product.

  • See my order via website shows "Dispatched_Dropship". I understood these were local stock, or am I misunderstanding dropship used here?

  • I didn't make an account when ordering so I'm unsure how to track my order.

I do see this on the site though 'SAME DAY DISPATCH (ORDERS PLACED BEFORE 4PM)'

Wonder if its worth a call to see where orders are at?

Edit: Just called and spoke to someone @ Mobiciti - all orders has been sent in 'bulk', stock is AU stock from an official xiaomi supplier, however as its been sent 'in bulk' tracking details aren't available as yet and will be uploaded shortly.

    Hopefully this helps all!

    • Received mine today and have wall mounted it. It seems a good step up from our ageing Dyson V6. Glad we bought it and great service from Mobileciti.

      • Mine also just mysteriously showed up now with Startrack - no tracking details / no further emails / nothing lol.
        Haven't opened it yet.

  • Received today. How can I tell when it is fully charged? I have had it plugged in for over 4 hours and I just continually have the one blinking LED light and nothing seems to change. Not sure it is actually charging?

    • When all lights are solid.

    • +1

Same issue here. First thing I did when I received my unit was to charge it. After leaving it to charge for 5 hours the charge indicator seems to be stuck on the second blinking light (half charged). I tried to move the charger to another wall socket and also tried charging it on the wall mount but no luck. Now in the 12th hour of charging and it seems to be stuck on the third blinking light and still not fully charged. Anyone else facing the same issue or have a solution for this?

      • +1

The lights blink as the charge goes up. Eg, if the first light is solid, the second light will be blinking, that's about half way charged as I see it, then next stage is 2 solid lights, third light blinking. When it gets to full charge, all lights will be solid but for only 5 minutes, then it enters an energy saving mode and the lights all go out. So unless you catch it in that 5 minute window you will not actually see all three lights solid. But if you leave it overnight and come back in the morning and see no lights on the charger, don't think there is no power/battery, it's fully charged.

        • +1

Thanks for explaining, yes I fully understand the light indicators and their respective meaning/charge level. Here's an update. I left it charging overnight. 24 hours has past now, charger plugged in and all 3 lights are off (meaning fully charged). My concern is that it took 12 hours of uninterrupted charging to be on the third blinking light and 24 hours to fully charge when the manual says it should've been around 4 hours. A google search of this issue didn't give any results, have reach out to Mobileciti and awaiting response.

          • +1

@kin9pu99o: Also been charging for around 5hrs here, still on 2nd light blinking.
Starting to think this vacuum is verrrry power sucking.
I did check the user manual it does clearly say 'Fully charge the vacuum before using it for the first time. This will take about 4 hours'.
Let us know how you do with mobiciti i might even consider returning it - the older Dyson I have seems to charge fully in just 2hrs (if that)

            • @ezza: Same situation here, It’s been approx 8 hours charged and still on 2nd light blinking.

          • -1

            @kin9pu99o:

have reach out to Mobileciti and awaiting response

What do you expect them to say? It takes a while to charge and operates fine.

            • +1

@watwatwat: Well some of them clearly don't charge or operate fine.

I had mine plugged in for over 24 hours and never got off the first blinking light. Then when I went to use it got about 2 mins before the battery was flat. I've opened a warranty claim with MobileCiti so will be sending it back to hopefully be replaced.

I guess at least the problem is evident within the first 30 days rather than showing up later on

              • -1

@xcx: Did you plug it straight in to the wall and try multiple sockets? Sounds like you are may not be providing it enough power. If it's not making progress for 24 hours then there is a problem.

But for the other report of it only being half charged after 5 hours, that sounds on-par with what is expected.

                • @watwatwat: The manual says full charge takes 4 hours.

                  • -2

@TRANCE: Yeah, but it's from China… so double/triple the estimate.

      • Think I also have the same issue :(
Used it at 2pm on the medium setting for 15mins. Its now 6hours and it is only on the 2nd flashing light.

    • +1

      I have exactly same problem
      It is even worse

Charge from 5pm until 1am next day , still only one blinking

Next day, charge again for 5 hours and the second blinking
Charge another 4 hours still second blinking

And I don't want to try anymore since the manual say only take 4 hours for fully charge

Return to Mobileciti 2 days ago and wait for their decision

      Hi xcx

Apologies to anyone that may be experiencing charging issues with your device. We've not been able to replicate this issue, but please feel free to email our team at [email protected] for assistance with troubleshooting, and if necessary provide an RMA for any faulty products. Thank you - Mobileciti.

      • I have emailed you guys 2 nights ago with a video but reply. I want the vacumm that works and charges fine. Please check the email for order number 2000398830

      • +1

You can't replicate this issue but there's so many people having the same problem including me.

      • B f'n S.
Did you even like actually try to replicate the issue given its happening to so many people here?
It's your credibility on the line. Make such claims at your own peril and detriment of the reputation of your business.

    • +2

I'm having the same issue, can't charge past 50% (second light blinking).

  • +1

Received today. Operates well and feels like great build quality.

  • Has anyone tried on carpet yet?

    • Yes, I have pretty low pile carpet and used it on the medium setting. Did a reasonable job, some particles had to go over twice to suck them up. But after a quick whip around the catcher did have quite a bit in it, which is really the test, I suppose. It didn't really feel like it was doing a lot though, as I say the result was adequate. Use on high power would have been better (though you only get 8 minutes), but I think a carpet head would be a better solution, especially if your carpet was on the thicker side.

      • Thanks for the info. I will probably try to get a carpet head later, as it will be mainly used on carpet in my case.

  • Received the vacuum today. Pleasantly
surprised that it includes the carpet head. The device looks sleek and well built. Suction was impressive when I tested. It's on charging at the moment.

    • Good to hear.. be prepared to charge it for 24 days (not hrs) lol.. see comments above.

      • +1

Manual said 4 hours but mine took 6 hours and its fully charged.

        • +1

Maybe you didn't get a dud like myself and others, or you have super dooper good electricity output at your house ;)

        • Mine wont charge past 1 blinking light. Useless dud product

  • +2

I've got a carpet head from Dream V9P to test on Mi 1C and it totally worked! Not sure why the sell them on AliExpress only for Dream 9 but it's compatible with Mi1C.

  • +1

Second attempt of charging overnight and still not pass the first indicator light. Definitely faulty. I've sent an email to mobileciti.

    • +1

Another 12 hours and got to 50%. What a joke.

      • +1

I have the same problem. I have charged it all day. Only work under one and half mins on max power.

        • Same here, I already sent mine back

  • +1

Yeh, im requesting a refund now through paypal. Clearly there are a lot of issues with this model/batch and charging so I cant be bothered taking a chance on a replacement to have the same thing happen again (or in one or two months time). I spoke with mobileciti about it on thursday and they advised to email them about the problem but Im yet to hear anything back.

      Hi xcx

Our CS team replied all the email in daily base, if u haven't received our reply maybe should double check junk mail, notice some email went to junk mail or PM with your order details.

thanks, and yes the reply had went to my spam.
i will follow the steps there and then update next week if the problem persists.

    Received on 29/10
Same issue, vacuum can’t be charged.
It has been charged for over 24hrs still flashing second light and once we use few minutes, it flashing again to remind us low battery…
    What happen to this vacuum?
It looks great but why charger likes it?
This is my first time to buy xiaomi product and so disappointed.

  • +1

Same issue here. Have been trying since last 3 days… doesn’t charge to full. After 24hrs charge too - the battery lasts only few minutes and doesn’t even complete couple of rooms. Very unsatisfied with this purchase. Didn’t have issues with any MI products so far but now I am starting to question. Will email you and open case with PayPal for refund.
Hope I get refund. Will likely buy Dyson when there is a great deal.

  • +1

Same issue here. Charged it for over 6 hours and it's still only on 1 blinking light. How can so many units be faulty?

    • I believe this batch of this vacuum has faulty
So many people complain about the same issue

    • +1

Same here been charging it for days and still 2 bars. Not happy.

      • Just return in store if you can go to Parramatta store
Or chat with them online for return
No point to keep faulty product

      • I can only get one bar max. Wife is so frustrated with my gift.

  • +2

Those experiencing the charging issue, has anyone tried with an alternative power supply? I think It's likely a power supply issue Are we able to request for the original xiaomi charger? If not any success with RMA and refund?

  • +2

same issue here, i have tried everything and still vacuum doesn't charge. Anyone had any success with return, below is what i have been told by support -

in this case, we will need the item to be returned back to us for inspection with full sales packaging. Once we have received the item and duplicate the fault reported of the battery issue we will process a replacement or refunded under our 30 day return policy.

However, if we are unable to duplicate the fault reported, please note, we will contact you ASAP regarding the outcome and organise a return back to you or partial refund of your choice.

WHO WILL BEAR THE SHIPPING COST??

  • +2

Glad I had cancelled my order
Reading through the post I assume most of the consumers are having issues.
When this bargain was posted most of them had doubts regarding the product,
No rep came to clarify the doubts.
After pages if posts a rep came to clarify couple of issues.
I believe gearbite is doing a better business and interaction with consumers

  • Multiple emails and they still wont send me a prepaid label because I have yet to agree to their conditions on the return "However, if we are unable to duplicate the fault reported, please note, we will contact you ASAP regarding the outcome and organize a return back to you or partial refund of your choice."

So basically if they say it works ok on their end, we get a partial refund?

    • +2

I should record the Charging-discharging videos. How the charge stays only for 5-10 minutes.

If they don’t provide full refund will file a case with guidelines from ACCC.

    • Yep record everything. Never dealing with these clowns again. Gearbite ftw.

  • +1

Mobileciti is not particularly responsive so far in resolving the charging issue. I hate when this happens. A product that doesn’t perform and seller doesn’t respond. I want full refund. Not happy with this purchase.

    • -1

      Hi vituallife

sorry to hear you issues, our team response all query in daily basis, if you have any outstanding query/email not been response please double check your junk mail or PM me your order and email, I will investigate for you, will definately resolve your issues, no need additional stress.

      • Thanks mate.
Sorry for the misunderstanding. Yes. I see that mobilciti replied to my email but it went to spam. I have been doing exactly as suggested; Used different powerpoints and charged continuously without using. I have yet not seen full charge. The response also said that you are working with XIOMI to find a solution in 2 business days. It’s been 3 days but I am happy to wait for couple of days more.
Hopefully, you are able to resolve the issue. If the charging issue goes away and in fact the vacuum works for 1 hour as claimed (on setting 1) I have no reason to complain.
It’s just that it should not discharge within 45 minutes atleast. When it is still new if it is subpar and if the trend continues; it will go on decreasing with battery getting old so it may be useless in a year or so - that’s what my fear is.

        • -1

          Hi

can you PM your order details so I can have look the case and get back to you.

          • @AHUANG: I have the exact same issue. Pathetic!

            • @spy: Sorry for this, please contact [email protected] to process return. if you need further assistant feel free to PM.

  • +2

    We need the original charger

  • +1

Is anyone else yet to receive any shipping information let alone delivery? Although what with all these charging issues maybe just asking for a refund to wait for a better batch is the better option…

  • Just tested the vacuum.

On level 1(the lowest power) the vacuum ran for 54 minutes. Now need to test the charging time. Good times !

  • Having same issue as with everyone above. Leave it on charge for a couple days to find it only charges up to one bar.
Messaged mobileciti, this is their reply

Thank you for your email and really sorry to hear this,

In order to assist you better regarding the charging issue, are you able to kindly confirm how long you have placed this device on charge?

Then they sent a folllow up emailing asking me to send it to them without any offer of a return label or courier pickup

    • They know the issue full well yet they annoy the customer with the same questions. Reps also MIA now.

  • +1

Received, and whilst it sucks well enough, It absolutely does not charge properly, have taken all measure described here, different power points, in dock, out of dock etc, have headed straight to Paypal resolution center as from what I can gather here Mobileciti have below average customer support.
Really disappointed, and can't help but think they knew this batch was faulty
