Great deal. So now it’s $10 cheaper than the 1C which I already bought. Is it worth asking to cancel the other order and going with this deal?

    • +3

I don't know how 1C compares with V9 but if you need carpet head this is certainly the deal to get.

    • +2
    • +1

I’m thinking of going with the V9, given Dreame seems to be an established brand and more popular (also have more models and accessories) compared to the 1C which seems to be the only model and relatively new from whoever is the original manufacturer under the Xiaomi umbrella.

    • +3

I called and cancelled mine and got the combo set here

  • +2

    Great deal on the V9!

Any chance of dropping the V11 to $360 Mark? Will buy one of them instead!

    • +7

New Model have high cost at the beginning. Hopefully cost reduce in future and we will sell cheaper once cost reduce.

      • Any chance you could drop the price for just the carpet roller head for v9p?

        • +1

Please wait next time, as we do not have many carpet head seperate box at this moment.

      • Thought of buying v9 combo, but it's sold out, any idea when will be the next deal?

    • +6

We may run limit stocks price drop for Dreame V11 tomorrow.

  • What is the different between V9 and 1C?

By looking at the photos, should 1C is equivalent to the combo set?

  • Can someone please shed some lights on the difference between soft roller head and carpet head?

We have tile + carpets, which one should be better suitable for us? I was considering the combo but not sure if the extra $60 worth if Carpet Head could do both tile & carpet…

    Thanks

    • +1

Depends on the pile of your carpet - my soft roller isn't great on low/medium pile, so a carpet head is needed for me (not talking about the Dreame, but my Dyson V6)

      • +1

Does your Dyson V6 pick up fragments of KFC? ;)

    • +1

So I wonder if Carpet Head is suitable for tiles too?

      • Wondering this also! Probably overthinking it. I am sure it will work.

        • +1

I find the carpet head flicks stuff off the tiles around rather than into the vacuum with the carpet head on. Takes an extra few minutes for the kitchen to do over twice. My laziness stops me from changing heads….

          • @pw2002au: Do you mean the carpet head, or the soft head flicks stuff around when using on hard floors?

            • +1

@PotPlant: I have the same experience. If you look at the picture of the carpet head you can see that it is designed to agitate the surface, so on hard floor it could just push debris all over the place, but it will still suck most stuff on 1st go, you just need to do more rounds to get the rest. Personally I would just get the carpet head and save $60, unless I have timber floorings. I'd need to check if the carpet head is safe for timber.

              • @nfr: Thanks nfr, this is great info, purchased carpet head version. Thanks.

          • @pw2002au: Dont own a xiaomi. We have a dyson V6 and this is not the case with it. Maybe difference is design.

          • @pw2002au: Agreed carpet head is for carpet , for best results on hard floor need a fluffy head.

    • If you got carpet, get the carpet roller.

The soft roller is actually like a fluffy carpet material so it doesn't really work well on carpet where as the carpet head has a hard brush to agitate the carpet to get the dust out.

The carpet one works ok on tile but not as well as the soft roller.

I would just get the combo. It's so cheap anyway compared to the V8. I've had one for a while and I've only got good things to say about it.

  • Also for comparisons sake, which Dyson model is comparable with the V9?

(hopefully I am asking for apple vs Apple comparison as both brand sucks ;) )

  • Hey rep can we get a deal for new gen 360 xiaomi camera

    • +1

Xiaomi Mi Home Security Camera 360° 1080P $53.06 with Code GEARBITE10 Here

  • I paid $350 for the combo a year ago :(

  • +2

Thanks. Just bought another one. I've now bought 7 - 1 for home, 1 for work and 5 for my staff (which they paid for. I'm not that generous). These things are great.

  • +3

Bought - replacing a dying, aging, Dyson V6. Need the carpet head so for $259 for Dyson V7/V8 performance, this is a no-brainer.

    • Except for warranty i guess…

      • For $259, if it lasts 4 years I'll be satisfied. My $600 V6 lasted 4 years.

  • Is V9 better than C1?

    • same thing

      • But C1 has no carpet head. And 50W less power.

    • +1

Marginally - slightly more power, but biggest difference is the design.

  • How does the carpet head go on tiles? Might seem like a silly question but I've got no idea what the difference is..

    • It will be fine. You may need soft roller head if you have a lots timber floor and tiles.

      • Can we buy the soft roller head in the future separately if it is required? Rough idea of price?

        • Sure, but will more expensive if you buy seperately
          .

    • +4

For tiles, the carpet head will work, but if there are slightly larger lighter object, the carpet brush will push them instead of pulling them in. Like leave, peanuts, paper bits etc. However in the softroller brush since the roller is the first thing in the front and the debris will be pulled right in. Just see both the heads to see the difference.

  • +1

I had one from last deal.. Good product for the price.

  • I paid 220 for soft head just 11 days ago on that Ebay plus deal and now it's 30$ cheaper :(

@Rep - anyway you can refund the difference ?

    • +2

      Please send me message.

      • Dear Gearbest, I paid $220 on eBay plus deal as well :-( Thinking of returning on eBay plus now. Any chance you refund the difference?

        • +6

Please send oz message to me.

      • Thanks for so much for prompt response and the refund of the difference. From now on, Gearbite is my first preference for my next purchase of Robot Vacuum :)

  • +2

Damn this is a much better deal than the 1C

    We love our dreame!

  • waiting for v11 for around $350 mark.

    • +2

I don’t see the advantages of paying $160 more for a bit more suction. Is there something at home that 400w can’t suck up but 450w can?

      • v11 is designed for better Heat dissipation.

        • What does that mean?

Like the unit doesn't get as hot?

  • How does the suction on the middle mode compare between the V9 and V11?

  • +1

free delivery for me, might be worth a mentioning too =)

    • +2

      Thanks, add Delivered at title.

  • +1

Bit the bullet on the V9 w/ Carpet Head. Thanks for the deal!

  • +1

Glad I waited for a carpet head deal. Thanks.

Bagless is disgusting and filthy. The gunk you suck up should go onto a disposal bag, not into a compartment that you have empty. The dirt and dust particles that floats in the air and gets sucked up by your lungs when you empty the vacuum is gross.

Not to mention bagged vacuum offers the best suction performance.

    • +8

For me its just dust and pet dander. Not sure what kind of filth you live in but it sounds like a personal issue.

      • It's everyone's issue, not personal. Dust and pet dander is still filth. It doesn't change what I said. The difference is the whether you chose to have the fifth sucked into a disposal bag or another vessel where you have to handle again.

    • +3

Ummm… you suck on these when you breathe everyday before, during and/or after cleaning.

Wear a mask (staple nowadays) when emptying if you're concerned on the concentration when emptying the can?

      • Yes you do breath bits and pieces in, but that's not the argument. The argument is whether you suck it into a cleaner disposal bag or be exposed to it again into a bagless vessel.

        • +3

Just hold your breath like every other human can. Using bags is just more waste that has to go to landfill.

  • +1

I'm spewin! I just bought the combo on the prime day for $279.. It is a fantastic vacuum nevertheless!

  • Is the combo worth it?

  • I just bought one also the other week fir $238. Any chance I could also get back the difference? Or discount on a soft head roller? I can send the receipt.

    • +2

      Please send me message.

  • Bought combo, thanks OP!

  • v11 is designed for better Heat dissipation.

  • hi rep, when is this promo going to end?

    is stock limited?

    thanks

  • Soft roller can be used on wooden floor?

    • +1

Yes it is actually the best to use on Wooden Floor

      • If I get the carpet roller, can I use of both floors? Don't wanna spend $250 haha

        • You can buy the carpet roller brushes trends to flick solid objects. You would regret saving the $50.

  • I have combination Wood floor and carpet. We use a robot vacuum all the time. Will result only need this for the stairs and tight corners.
Can I get by with just the roller head or carpet head? Or something do I need both

  • +1

how are these compared to the dysons?

    my v8 battery died.

    • +2

Doesn’t Dyson official website sell the battery by itself?

    • +2

      Better value for money.

    • can we get a dyson for $199 with combo set?

    • I'm done with dyson. Will be getting rid of my V6 and will sell the Dc29.

      Much better out there.

  • What sort of delivery timelines for this?

    • Normally 3-7 Business day if no postage deay.

      • Hello Rep
How does warranty work for these devices?
