      If it's similar to the v9 that soft foam head works well on floorboards, but it doesn't pick up overly big things. It's just OK on carpet to pick up surface things, you would need a carpet head if you want to vacuum carpets

          Lol the electric mites brush is a mini carpet head, it would take you at least 4x longer to vacuum a room with it. I only use it for my mattress and small rugs

      I looked up a comparison video and his conclusion was pretty much they are almost identical, but V9 dock is a bit larger so it allows for a third attachment as opposed to this one that allows for 2 attachments.

    I was tempted by this, but I found out Dreame T20 was going to become a thing (Pretty much Dreame V11 but better) It ended up costing $320+20 shipping but seems like it is worth the extra $120-140 over this one.

      Not ideal for carpets as it doesn’t have bristles on the main attachment (only a soft foam). It will vacuum the surface but not going to give it a deep vacuum. This is more suitable for timber flooring/tiles as it won’t scratch

    I believe many people are buying this impulsively and will be disappointed when they realise a carpet head is not included nor available. If a carpet head cannot be found, and I haven't seen any links posted here, this may very well be a waste of money for many with carpets.

    Very good deal, however it's not quite as good as the V9. For me weight is an issue, this one weighs more … V9 1.5kg, this one 3.3kg. But if you can get past that, Xiaomi products are very good!
