AMD Ryzen 5/7/9 RTX 3070 8GB Gaming PCs [B550 Aorus Elite/16GB 3200/480G/650B]: $1788 + Delivery @ TechFast

2000
RYZEN-3070-LAUNCH

Party like it's 1788! (might as well stick with theme).

We've again partnered with Gigabyte to bring a high spec system to the table for RTX 3070 launch, featuring Ryzen 5, 7 or 9 CPUs, Aorus Elite B550 motherboard, 16GB 3200MHz RAM, 480GB 2.5" SSD and 650W 80+ Bronze PSU (in line with recommended 650W PSU for 3070), and 3 variants of the 3070.

AMD Ryzen / RTX 3070 8GB Gaming PCs: from $1788 after RYZEN-3070-LAUNCH

  • AMD Ryzen 5 3600, Ryzen 7 3700X or Ryzen 9 3900X processor
  • Gigabyte Eagle RTX 3070 8GB - upgrades to the Galax SG 1-Click OC and MSI Ventus (3X OC for first batch offered here), model may vary after replenish) available
  • Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite ATX motherboard (various upgrades available)
  • 16GB 3200MHz RAM (brand/model may vary)
  • 480GB 2.5" SSD (brand/model may vary)
  • Gigabyte P650B 650W 80 Plus Bronze power supply - upgrades to 750W 80+ Gold (model has been Giga P750G for a while and is still in stock, but may vary to equivalent model in peak times), and Giga Aorus AP850GM 850W 80 Plus Gold (will be this one).
  • MSI MAG Forge 100R case (others available)

To the all important questions of stock: NVIDIA fully acknowledged their issues and shortages with RTX 3080 launch, so postponed launch of 3070 by two weeks to ensure supply. We have these cards arriving in the first weeks of November and systems will be built ASAP thereafter. Our allocations are good, but not unlimited, and suppliers have said 3070 sales have outpaced 3080 sales at launch, so be quick.

Existing 3080 Orders: If you do want to swap into one of these, you will need to email us at [email protected] so we can apply a credit, and repurchase, as we can't simply swap orders - it makes stock management too difficult. I can't offer guarantees on holding stock or response times though either, as we will be getting a lot of enquiries.

Zen 3 Upgrades: If you're looking to upgrade to a Zen 3 CPU, which is not available for sale or public upgrade pricing info yet (we checked), but don't want to miss out on 3070 stock, please add a Note in the orders field during checkout: HOLD BUILD FOR ZEN 3 UPGRADE PRICING, and we'll let you know on release (November 5). This applies to existing 3080 orders - if you want Zen 3 for your 3080, email [email protected] ASAP, as systems are shipping daily.

3080 Order Updates: October cards have been arriving in small batches due to NVIDIA's manufacturing shortages throughout October, but most have come late in the month and are currently on the way to us. I'd expect a good chunk of Giga and MSI October customers to receive shipping notification today and next week, with Galax next week too. Hang in there!

Have at it.

Luke

      • Thanks, got it!

    • can scroll just had to refresh a few times

  • Any idea how much fps this build would get in warzone? 1080 or 1440

    • +1

Whatever 2080ti gets if you can find some reviews.

  • Hi Luke - i'm holding out to see what TF is going to deliver for the new AMD line-ups. Is that likely to occur?

    • +2

Yes, Zen 3 launches November 5 and RX 6000 GPUs on the 16th. No pricing can be discussed prior to those dates to my knowledge. If you want a 3070 or 3080, I'd get in the queue by purchasing one of these current builds and letting us know you want to upgrade your CPU. If you're after Big Navi cards, you'll need to wait till launch day.

      • Hi, Im interested in one of your R5 3600/ RTX 3080 builds, does that mean if I'm buying a system now, I can put in the order note "Would be interested to upgrade to Zen 3 CPU" you'll contact with prices later for a possible upgrade the 3600 it before sending it?

        • Correct!

  • +1

This really is excellent value if you need a PC now, great job by Luke and the Techfast team. Good to see you guys are accommodating for people wanting the upcoming Zen 3 processors.

  • How long does it take to build and deliver?

    • The cards are November cards. A good number of Ventus actually arrived today and the others are on the way, so we should be inside the 14 business day mark for many, bearing in mind we have some catching up to do with 3080 orders as well which will take priority.

  • good deal, this is cheaper than my recent 2070 super setup, though I allocated more money on RGBS.

  • +1

Any chance of a mITX build around a coolmaster NR200 or similar when the Zen3 chips are available?

    • ITX is no chance this side of Xmas sorry, too much else on.

  • Wait for black Friday or dive in?

    • dive away

    • High end, high spec systems won't be reduced for BF.

    • +1

Probably wait although I don't think you will get discount on the 3070 but you might get some deals on other things and the new AMD CPUs drop so that might mean a drop in those prices. Only issue might be motherboards when people upgrade to new Zen.

I got some deals on Prime Day for my build

      Amazon
      Gigabyte PRIME X570 $233.57
      Crucial 1TB P5 M.2 $174.78
      Crucial 32GB 3200 DDR4 $136.98 (4 x 8GB, 2 sets 16)

Then I got deals elsewhere which will upgrade later
Ryzen 5 1600 $149 MSY (probably upgrade down the line)
PNY GTX 1660 Super $323 MWave (playing the 3000 series waiting game till 2024)

Non deal price things I wanted
Lian Li Mesh II White $165 Scorptec
Seasonic 750W GOLD White $195 Scorptec

All up around 1377 with the $500 extra for a 3070 (if you can get your hands on one) hits 1877, worse CPU but better M/B, RAM, PSU, Case and HDD.

You could easily save money on case and PSU to get close to the same price.

Black Friday should get you some deal if you are prepared to work for it.

      • +1

but this will only works if you are build savvy and able to cherry pick your own components. if this is the case, then yes Black Friday will definitely be worth the wait but if you're waiting for readily built PC then they got you by the balls and I don't believe most retailers be reducing any high spec systems on Black Friday.

        • Yeah I guess but what's better to dive in than to build yourself??

  • I’m looking to buy 2. Do I have to do 2 separate orders and pay for 2 postage?

    • You can add 2 to your cart and we can manually apply the second discount after purchase (they don't stack), or you can put through 2 separate orders. 2 x shipping would be required either way as they're too large to combine to save on shipping. Probably simpler to purchase 2 separately as the cost will be exactly the same.

  • do i get an email once the cards have arrived or the pc build has commenced?

    • +1

We dont have automated order tracking yet, but it is coming. You can reach out to us at any time but unless there is a major delay we will busily working through orders so you likely won't hear from us between order being received and dispatch with tracking details.

  • +3

Hi Luke, you probably overlooked my above question. So thought I'd paste it here again.

The 3080 base spec before coupon is $2295. The 3070 base spec before coupon is $2488. Aside from the GPU, both builds have similar base specs but the 3080 build has a bigger PSU and gigabyte gaming x motherboard.

Then why would the 3070 base spec before coupon is applied be priced $200 higher than the 3080? This makes no sense.

However after the coupon code, it's $200 cheaper than the 3080 base build (which makes sense). Therefore 3070 discount of $700 after using the code is certainly misleading.

Would be good if you could provide some insight.

    • +1

OzBargain codes have always varied in the amount they reduce systems by. Some systems on our website have no coupon codes applicable, others have a different code for a different amount, OzBargainers always get the best deals, but what we haven't done is inflate this price and chuck a big coupon amount in to make it look like a better deal - I didn't call out a huge discount amount or anything like that in the deal because that's not what's happening. We've changed our pricing and discount structure so the base price without an OzB coupon code is indeed the listed price and that's still competitive enough for a prebuilt with these specs in the current retail / non discount market. The 3080 with the base price of $2295 will be taken down or revised shortly in line with this restructure.

      • +1

ok fair enough. Thanks for the explanation.

However, I still think your 3080 deal is the best I've seen so far. There were a few ozbargainers criticizing it, and claiming some of the parts in the build were no brand. If you look at my comments in another post, I was defending your 3080 deal.

        • Yeah I agree, it was a killer. Pricing and manufacturer rebates have actually changed since then too. Every little bit extra helps make a great deal a killer.

          • @luketechfast: Can you bring back that 3080, zen 2 deal for $1995 back?

            • @baj: 100% not doable unfortunately! A lot of pricing has changed

  • +1

    Thanks. Have ordered 2.

    • Thanks for your orders!

      • Hopefully you can get it out to us in the next couple of weeks as using for work pc 😂

  • Hi Luke, if I were to order a 3080 system per your previous deal when should I expect it to arrive by?

    • +1

just before Christmas if you are lucky…only a few people have received their October systems so far, and it's already the end of the month. Go ahead if you are ok with the wait, or feeling lucky…(like a large shipment of 3080 comes from somewhere somehow).

I personally ordered on the 19th of Sep, and am still waiting =x I would have gone for the 3070s or amd cards if i knew it was taking this long =\ Nvidia's 3000 series launch really sucked this year.

  • Hi Luke, Do you have an upgrade option that has an USB-C port in the front of the case?
Also I'm getting an error when adding promo code, saying "discount code isn’t valid for the items in your cart"

    • +1

USB-C case, no sorry. Not sure on the error, they've definitely been selling. Can you PM me your cart contents maybe?

      • Thanks Luke, have slid into the DM's

  • just saw this deal

    [Pre Order] Inno3D GeForce RTX 3070 Twin X2 8GB $809 (Was $899) + Delivery / Free Pickup @ Umart

  • I would steer clear of Inno3D. Stick to the bigger brands

  • Really hoping for a Zen 3, Mobo and RAM deal sometime soon, maybe an M.2 as well.

  • Love ya work Luke.

  • also luke do you have any news on the msi ventus rtx 3080s? i ordered a pc that said it would arrive in october just want to know what the progress is like on those cards

    • +1

Check comments on the 3080 thread friend :) I don't think Luke will go into specifics or stats on remaining orders but I anticipate 3080 Ventus orders (like ours) will ship next week.

      • +1

This is our intention too, working as fast as we can.

  • How do I check my order notes on the website? I think I have put in a note to hold my order for Zen 3 CPUs, but I can't find my notes anywhere on the site.

    • I don't believe there is a way to view your notes after ordering but you can check if its correct via email to [email protected]

      • Good to know. I sent a reminder email to be safe :P

  • Wanting to buy a new machine for my son for Xmas/birthday. Do you think it is worth waiting for the new Zen3 and RX600 ? Or just go for this and hope for delivery before Xmas ?

    • If you're holding out for the rx6900XT then it very likely will not come pre christmas or maybe even this side of the year.

  • +1

Hi luke! Just wondering if you had any luck with the watch dogs legion deal attached with purchasing a 3080 thanks.

    • +1

You can actually claim it directly through AORUS, please see this comment with info.

You'll need to get the check number from your GPU from Gigabyte support to be able to claim and then claim it through the AORUS account. I believe that Luke mentioned they may have the check numbers on hand if you'd rather ask them instead, but you'll need to contact either of them because it's not on the GPU.

    • Still nothing from NVIDIA on our side sorry!

  • if us gamers are angels, luke is the god.
not gonna buy anything im all good with my rx470, just here for the upvote.

  • Any decent 2060 prebuilt deals OP?

    • They have a 2060 that is apparently still live.
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/572540

By the time you've upgraded the case and power supply (at a minimum) I think the current 2060 super offer from Virco at $1300+shipping is slightly more appealing. But 2060 deals in general don't seem that attractive to me, as I'm used to thinking about 60hz gaming: at 1080p they're overkill and at 1440p they'll be somewhat limited in what they can run at higher settings.

  • hi guys, looking for some tech advice. planning on buying a new gaming machine that is fairly future proof. aiming to also ideally pair it with a xiaomi 4k 32" ozbargain monitor as well. Whilst i don't have any games in mind, cyberpunk 2077 is definitely on the cards.

    1) Would something like this deal be suitable?
    2) Or would this deal be sufficient? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/574331
    3) Anything else i should know?

    thanks
    Oneiricer

    • +2

If you want to game at 4k resolution then you should aim for a 3080. This is decent value however, depending on the graphics card version you choose, not shipping until December (they have a couple of card variants which are expected to ship in November for an extra $100)

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/566770

I'd personally take the case and power supply upgrades as they're inexpensive and a hassle to change later. I'd buy my own additional SSD or hard drive when needed down the track as the Techfast upgrade prices are excessive and installation is very easy .

  • Any recommended upgrades for this build? Probably upgrade to gold psu, right?

  • @luketechfast what are the CL timings for the 3200mhz sticks?

    • The brands and models can vary on the RAM and SSD according to availability to us.

  • +5

Been waiting what seems like an eternity for my 3080 october build.

Not sure if others feel the same, but if I knew the October systems wouldn't arrive till mid November I would have just ordered one of these instead :(

    • Hang in there - cards are still arriving and systems are shipping, and prebuilding systems for October GPU installation is in full swing to reduce the down time between card arrival and system shipping as much as possible. If you do want to swap, it's possible as per my comment in the deal, email [email protected].

    Hi Luke,

Are you thinking of bundling the Ryzen 5600x with the Radeon 6000 series (Precisely the 6800)?

    • Definitely thinking about it, depends entirely on what stock is available though. It's an unknown at present.

  • Does anyone know when the deal expires?

  • HI Luke, I'm looking to build a PC with my son and am wondering if you can do a component only price?

    • The unassembled price is the same as the assembled system price. To order unassembled, just enter SHIP UNASSEMBLED in the Notes field during Checkout and we will ship the components in the same state we receive them (some may have retail packaging, some bulk packaging). Unassembled orders do not skip ahead in the queue and are picked according to their time/date ordered, but may save a couple of days as they are not build and tested.

      • thanks for the quick reply. what is the current lead time for orders please? thanks

        • 3070s should be shipping on our close to our regular 14 business day window. Launch time is always tricky so it is an estimate rather than a guarantee.

  • Hi All, I am not a computer person. All I want to know is if this configuration is good for flight simulator 2020. Can it give a smooth playing experience with reasonable depth in quality of the scene. Much appreciate your valuable recommendations / suggestions.

    • I'm the seller but yes, this an ideal Flight Sim PC.

  • Thanks Luke, just placed an order. Thank you.
I did put in notes to add new Zen 3 5600 when available, is that ok I should I contact store ?

    • Thanks for your order! We have the pricing confirmed now so please email [email protected] and we'll reply as soon as we're able to.

  • Hi Luke, is the support and sales @techfast the same team, just waiting on updates from the support team for the invoice for the upgrade to 5600x since last friday.

    • Same team yes but the Sales inbox is ahead of Support, both are being worked through asap.

  • Does thus Motherboard have build in Wifi?
AMD X570 ATX Motherboard (Requires ATX Case) [Brand May Vary] $39.00

    • No, only the X570 WiFi upgrade option does.

  • +1

Got my shipping information today. Super excited!

  • If I was to order this at the end of the week what is the likely time it would arrive @luketechfast

    • Should be around the middle of December. Aim would be to get it out in time for Christmas delivery but it would be subject to delivery times we're not in control of.

  • Wondering if one else who have received there machines is experiencing getting black screened when installing the latest Nvidia drivers or the previous driver released?

  • @luketechfast, is this deal still available? Looks like all the graphic card options are greyed out?

    • All GPU stock has been allocated to the BF deals so this is not available right now, if more becomes available we'll reactivate but its probably unlikely this side of Xmas.

      • Thanks, mate. Understood.
