  • Good for bedroom tv.

    • That is what I am weighing up. Is it worth replacing my perfectly fine 10+ year old Sony Bravia KDL40z5500 for this?

    Ford started making tvs?

    • Might be for carbon offset as it is pure electric

    • Yes. They don't want to end up like Holden

  • Any gaming related reviews for this? Wondering how it'll go with next gen consoles…

    • I use mine for the Nintendo switch works fine :)

50hz, 6.5ms response and no hdmi 2.1(required to get a tv to display 4k at higher than 60hz). Not ideal just looking at those specs.

  • I remember when these were $398 pre-COVID 😖

    • Yep around mother's day I purchased mine great price for the tv!

      That was the 50uf1 no?

    • 55UF1 Hasn’t gone below $469.

      • I paid $448 on 13 April. No special deal, just the advertised ticket price then.

For what it's worth I'm very happy with the tv. Just make sure you turn off the freeview plus features, tv too slow with then turned on. Other smart tv features like Netflix work fine and operate separately from Freeview plus

Edit: I bought from JB hi fi

    ffffalcon punch!!!!

  • Would it be too big for a bedroom?

What TV size people normally put in a bedroom?

    • +1

55 is fine for bedroom imo. I have a 65 in mine

      • +1

        60 here….size is fine….

  • Observations on this unit:
Remote is a little slow and 2 times now its started up without any display - just sound.

(Our office TV) - around 10 months old now.

Used around 6 hours a day in our office - everyday.

  • I went and saw this model in person at JB and the quality was ok and looks small. Might wait for a larger tv deal.

    • Grab a measuring tape and put it in your lounge room, always better perspective than at the large showrooms!
