Spoke with Isaac should be on its way

    • +5

Very frustrating. It's over 3 weeks since I ordered and and spoke to Isaac a few times and nothing eventuated despite reassurances. I am sure a lot of you guys are on the same boat. The thing that frustrates me the most is not the waiting, it's being told one thing and then nothing happens afterwards. If it is taking so long for built PCs to ship, imagine how long it will take for others.

  • +4

Really frustrating with the lack of response. Absolutely zero communication and starting to feel like a scam

    • Remember CGB Solutions?

      • Nope?

        • +3

CGB Solutions had a really good PC deal. Seemingly.
Deal got a lot of interest and purchases.
Got into extreme delays. Rep ghosted customers. Did not respond much. Was hostile to complaints.
Built PCs that customers received did not have the parts as advertised. Rep misled customers.
Rep did not process refunds quickly. Was hostile to complaints.

          • @Tariel: Seems like fun times ahead :(

            • @TheMatrix31: Well, for now, Isaac has been nice to communicate with as long as he's available.
Refund that was processed on 19/11 has not shown up on my end though, which is a concern to me.

              • +2

@jus0212: That's a pretty big concern already. When ordering there was easy communication via the chat. All this drama flared up and I haven't had any response whether it be email, chat, call or text. Funny enough for me that the chat is now active, stuff I send shows having been read but zero response.

                • @TheMatrix31: No excuse for the lack of communication. Terrible customer service.

I have been up till almost 3am every night building computers doing the we can.

I promise I will call every customer with an outstanding order tomorrow with an update.

                  • +2

                    @Titan Tech: Actually processed refunds?

                    • -1

@Tariel: All refunds have been processed for anyone who requested them. I am sure a few people here can confirm. Having issues with @jus0212's refund as it is marked refunded on our system but apparently funds have not been returned. This was only brought to our attention today and we have launched an 'investigation'.

                      • +2

                        @Titan Tech: Hi Isaac,

                        How goes?
Could you have a look at my refund request as well? It was made on the 19/11 per your post on Page 2, and I've yet to receive anything. Could you also advise the amount that was to be refunded?
                        Thanks heaps!

                        • -2

@Ash Mantle: As mentioned before please contact us via 1800 011 341 or via our facebook messages. I will process this right now.

                          • +1

@Titan Tech: I had waited because you said on the 19/11, on Page 2 of this thread, that my "Refund for card difference has been processed." But grew concerned that jus0212 also didn't receive theirs from around the same time, and checking mine nothing was refunded, but thank you for finally actioning it.

                  • @Titan Tech: @Titan Tech
Nope, didn't get a call. The 1800 number wasn't answered despite several attempts.

                    • -2

@Wrathie: I have been on the phone the whole day. Tried to text back as many people as I could. Feel free to call right now.

                      • +3

@Titan Tech: Don't want to bug you after hours mate.

But it is a bit hard when you hang up, promise to text back "in a sec" and then completely ignoring subsequent communication attempts.

I partially sympathise with your situation of being swamped with orders, but it is a dilemma of your own making and customers shouldn't have to suffer for it.

                  • +1

@Titan Tech: Hopefully will hear from you tomorrow since nothing today.

                  • +2

@Titan Tech: Sorry Isaac but I'm done I'll be cancelling my order. I'm a patient person but 3 weeks with no response to any form of communication is inexcusable. Phone calls, texts, emails, chat messages, facebook message all not replied to… legit the only response has been on this public post. I'd ask how do I organise a refund but how can I communicate with someone who never responds?

                    • @TheMatrix31: Feel free to call me on 1800 011 341. I am the only person who answers the phone and I receive over 50 calls a day while trying to build PC's from order number 220-290. So yes it is very hard to reach me. Feel free to downvote this comment as I know most of you will. But we have been on OzBargain for almost 6 months. We have sold at least 300-400 PC's with plenty of happy customers.

I understand that wait time is far longer then expected but it is A. Christmas, B. Stock that is highly in demand and hard to get, C. 1 person trying to fulfil 100+ orders.

As mentioned previously my personal mobile is 0402 510 862. If you cant reach my on the 1800 number feel free to send me a text and I will get back to you as soon as I am off the phone.

                      • @Titan Tech: You're up to order no. 220 ?

                        • -1

@Wrathie: 223 with 2 people before that still waiting due to various reasons.

                      • +3

@Titan Tech: Shoulda put a hold on orders. At least communicate. Not make passive aggressive comments. Was gonna order. But not after this.

  • +2

Computer just arrived then, still at work so will check it out and post some photos later on today.

    • Thanks for the update, what order number were you btw ?

    • Happy and relieved for you, will be looking out for the photos. I still have no idea if mine has been posted yet or not :|

  • +1

I was 198 made some changes to the case etc so knew it was going to take a bit longer but just kept following up

    • wow, you just got order no. 198 eh.

    • oh boy, im in the 260s

      • +1

So waiting for new stock + build time = 2 more months for you ?

        • Issac called me on Monday, switching over to the Intel CPU
and he's looking to have parts today and have the builds complete by the end of the week to ship out next week.

But.. i've been trying to get a hold of him since Monday again and haven't been able to get through via mobile, website and facebook =\

          • +2

@Queue2Queue: Yeah, I can't get a hold of him either, he hasn't called me.

            • @Wrathie: Well I tried calling and was hung up on.
Reached out on facebook and was told he'll contact me in an hour (8 hours ago)
This feels more like a scam, i'll probably give it benefit of the doubt till end of the week as he said that's when he would be finished.

              • @Queue2Queue: I haven't tried calling yet, but have had trouble getting in contact the last two days. I did get a brief response that he'll be just a moment at 11am and i understand that Isaac is busy.

My order was waiting for a specific case, so I understand that there was going to be a slower turn around, but seeing messages that have been read on both Facebook and website get read without any response is frustrating. All i really am after is a status update as I have not heard anything in over a week, and there was a good chance that the case should be arriving this week.

                • @Cottonsox: I did order a different case as well but he said he would have it ordered and built with the same end of week time frame.

Having to rely on this thread for updates instead of Issac has been a poor experience.

          • @Queue2Queue: So he's switching over to 10700k ?

            • @Wrathie: Yeah that's right, but he's also waiting on stock for that

  • +3

Got my computer this morning as well. Order numbers 220s. I think mine was in a batch of 10+ PC that was sent. Plugged up and all good. Looks nice with clean cable management. Better than what I could gave done anyway. Overall pretty satisfied with product, but the experience could be better. If the delivery time had been more realistic, it would have avoided a lot of frustration. Initially it looked like he had systems in stock, but that appeared to have sold out very quickly. The subsequent postings should have had its description changed to reflect supply status, so people can make an informed decision before purchasing. I think this is something Isaac will have to think about in the future. I hope the rest of you guys get your deliveries soon. Also I guess a few of you guys here upgraded for Cyberpunk 2077, but it looks like it's buggy and likely will need a couple of big patches so a slight delay may be better in hindsight.

  • +1

Just set mine up all looks okay but upon booting up immediately ran into issues the screen is filled wth green lines all across it. When i tried updating to the latest nvidia drivers I am hitting a black screen and the only way to proceed it to boot into safe mode. Currently looking into it but got to go back to work.

    • I hit a black screen initially, but that was my problem. I connected the HDMI cable to the motherboard HDMI port instead of the RTX 3070 port. After I changed it, had no issues.

    • +1

You might be in the same boat as I was. I booted up my system to the same symptom, and it was the graphic card that was faulty. I replaced with a new one that I bought myself and it confirmed my suspicion.

      • +1

Yeah I am having no luck getting it to update the drivers

        • It's real unfortunate that the 5600X does not have integrated graphic. I think you should get or borrow a cheap graphic card to test the rest of your system if possible, to ensure nothing else is broken and give yourself some peace of mind. I was really stressed not knowing if the system is broken anywhere else and so relieved when it works just fine with the new card I plugged in, which confirmed the one came with it is indeed non-functional.

          • +1

@peteranh3105: Did just exactly that and the problem lies with the graphics card all worked with my old gtx 980. sent it back to Isaac to be replaced.

            • @ryan1815: Yeah it's a real shame that such a good deal is plagued by these obvious errors and mistakes. I've sent mine back to Issac as well to get a refund.

              • @peteranh3105: Yeah I mean cant exactly blame him for a faulty gpu but strange he said he didn't encounter any issues when he preloaded windows. Also not sure what the cable management is like for you l.

                • @ryan1815: It's a hit or miss in my case. I ordered 2 systems, one has really questionable cable management with visible RGB controller through the side panel (because I ordered the fan pack), cables twisting together and not routed through the back or bottom panel. The other system has OK-ish cable management, but they didn't even bother plug in the front panel connectors, which could have easily been done by using the provided G-connector come with the mobo.

            • +1

@ryan1815: I don't think the problem is with the GPU. I ran into similar problem. Initially worked OK, then black screen, no signal to monitor. Boot onto safe mode, uninstalled nvidia drivers and then monitor worked again. Installed nvidia drivers and the screen immediately went dark again. This happened on a new IPS monitor. However, when I connected to my old monitor, which is less power hungry, it worked without any issue. Interesting when it first happened, I loaded onto bios and a message said it has loaded into default settings, so the settings that came with bios must have caused issues. I suspect the CPU may have been under clocked to divert power to the PSU. Hours of searching the net and I suspect the problem is with the PSU. There is no reason why I would get a black screen after installing nvidia drivers, while uninstalling it allows the monitor to boot up. I am no tech expert but I am wondering whether the 550w PSU is not powerful enough to run the computer esp. If monitor power consumption is high. I am going to get a 650W PSU to try and see if it will work with the new monitor.

              • +2

@Paoda: Update. Not the PSU. Appears to be problems with Windows itself.
Reset Windows and everything worked, even with the new drivers.

              • +2

    • +2

Frankly not good enough. Failed components is a big yikes. Needed thorough tests.

      • With Virco rushing Titan Tech orders out of their shop at this pace, I don't think any systems are tested prior to delivery.

  • +2

Looking like at this stage it may need to be returned to be fixed and then properly tested, cant seem to get past these issues.

I have also noticed the extra 1TB HDD I ordered was not included and also an exhaust fan for my case was also not put in to the build after discussing the adding of it, while not the end of the world they are issues that shouldn't be having.

Giving Isaac the benefit of the doubt but this whole process has been quite disappointing.

Also a few pics of the build and the issues Im having you can see here.

Pretty concerning as you would think testing would be part of his process.

Pretty big hurdle for Issac posting any future deals with the experience from the ozB community

    • May I ask what case do you have? P500?

      • +1

Yep it is the p500a, the 240mm cooler didn't fit the p400a so paid extra for the p500A

    • +4

it sucks you've gotten this issue - you seem the most patient and bearing among all of us. from my knowledge the back actually looks pretty good, the RHS is always a bit heh in that regard, but it looks like it's all been pinned down so it's not loosely flying around everywhere

  • I didn't get a response from Issac today, unsure if he receives delivery for the CPUs

Have people got their refunds processed ?

    • Not yet :(

    • I am still waiting for my refund processed on 19th. He asked me if I have received it after he investigated on Monday and I told him I haven't received anything. He read the message on FB and then hasn't replied since.

      • You know there has been no processing of no refund if you haven't received it by now.

        • Yeah.. I did message/email him about 10 days after but never gotten replied through those channels. He asked me for bank account to do manual transfer this morning. I replied the message already but it hasn't been read. I guess it will be another few days…

  • +5

Anyone know what our rights are to a chargeback? Obviously the parts we ordered were never in stock and he has the audacity to post another deal today on Facebook when he has so many unfulfilled orders? 7-12 days were never going to happen. 2 weeks ago he was getting the cpus on Monday this week and now it's Monday next week? With so many people receiving their systems with the wrong parts and issues I want to pull out.

No replies to my messages as soon as I ask about cancelling he instantly replies.

Virco have systems on sale and they can build it the same day. Upon asking Virco about titantechs comment earlier that they were the online and marketing side of them, Virco have confirmed they were completely different companies and he only uses their store as pick up store

Absolutely fuming, what turned out to be a great deal has gone to absolute shit.

    • +1

Gonna request a refund if he doesn't ship the system early next week.

      • 100% going to give him the benefit of the doubt here but I'm calling it quits next week

      • I'll be doing the same

Also seems to have removed his customer feedback/review page on Facebook.
        Not filling me with confidence

        • +1

Makes sense if it's getting hammered with negative feedback. It's not a big company we're talking about here, such things can make or break a business.

    • Non receipt of goods and services is a valid reason for a charge back.

Obviously try and get a refund first, if he is uncontactable for a few days, go for it.

    • +2

Damn, sorry to hear that everyone is still having issues :(. Hopefully you guys receive your systems or refunds soon!

I'm absolutely positive you're well within your rights for chargeback, your banks will also champion this, sometimes they'll ask for ways you tried to resolve the issue and in writing or through email, and you could cite the lack of communication and the fact he's basically not fulfilling his end of the deal - as well as that you haven't received anything in all this time.

Also really disappointed to hear that Titan Tech is basically misappropriating use of another business's name, that's really questionable.

Best wishes to everyone, good luck with it all!

  • +2

    Rep should be banned.

    • Well I doubt he's going to post another deal here unless he re-brands his business which shouldn't be a problem.

  • +2

Guys I'd be pushing for chargebacks if I was you

I'm reading lots of people saying they've been waiting for refunds processed a long time ago.

Its all automated these days - he's using big commerce and I'm guessing probably stripe so its literally one click refunding.

So people not seeing refunds in acceptable times possibly could point towards more cash flow issues on their end rather than anything else.

Of course I could be wrong but wouldn't want to see people ultimately get nothing back for being nice and giving benefit of the doubt if the user disappeared etc

    • He's probably using the money to order more parts to offer more products, who cares if it takes customers 2 months to receive their orders.

      • That's what I meant by cash flow. The problem is obviously no one going to order any more if they see the problems so the money dries up at some point.

        • +3

I'm sure there'll be enough disgruntled customers here for a class action lawsuit if its comes to that. If he has to file for bankruptcy he won't be selling computers any time soon.

        • -1

There are 2 customers who have been having issues with refunds, These were marked as refunded on our system from the day they were requested however for whatever reason these didn't go through properly. Over 10 refunds have been processed for other customers with no issues.

As you can see in these photos the refunds, to me, looked like they had been sent, but for whatever reason they did not come through.
          https://imgur.com/a/N9j0WTi
          https://imgur.com/a/wuZOD2V

Both of these customers have had manual refunds processed since it was brought to my attention that it has not gone through properly.

There is no need to request a charge back from your bank when you can message on on Facebook or call us. More then happy to provide a refund.

I would like to note that while the service has been slow, Most orders are only 2-3 weeks old at most with the rare exception or 2 or 3 orders. While I will be the first to admit this is terrible service and far to slow, other companies on OzBargain have been known to take 4-5 weeks for delivery and nobody calls them a scammer. We have been posting here for the better half of a year and there is no reason we would start scamming anybody no. I understand there are a lot of red flags but there are a select few of you who are really blowing this out of proportion when the reality is that we are working hard at getting as many PC's out as fast as we can.

TL:DR; No need to request a chargeback. Refunds have been processed for anyone who asked with the exception of 2 people who for whatever reason had an issue with the payment.

          • +3

@Titan Tech: At least communicate. Not only here.
Saying your part of a company when your not is misrepresentation. "Businesses are not allowed to make statements that are incorrect or likely to create a false impression." Unfair on the customers.

No need to tell customers what to do. They can file with ACCC or Fair Trading.

          • +2

@Titan Tech: The ozB community has been understanding with delays when communicated with. But you have dodged emails, FB messages, phone calls, texts and website msgs to such an extent that refunds and class action is on the table.

Even with your latest post you haven't even indicated when people's orders will arrive.

          • @Titan Tech: hi Issac,

Order 241 was mine, i am still waiting for refund about 2 weeks now…..

  • Guys i'm sure he hasnt been dodging anything i spoke with issac the other day and the poor bloke is just trying to make the quality better for us by splitting from vicro, i understand that delays annoy people but cut the man some slack as i'm sure he's doing the best he can with the now limited resources he has

    • +1

I am one of the 2 that has issue with refund. I personally think I have been trying to cut him some slack since he has been trying to be helpful whenever I am able to reach him. However, one bit that I think that can be improved on is what others are saying, communication, and I am sure Isaac knows it too. It may have been too late to amend it by now that possibly work is far too piled up with excessive orders (may be control it better in the future?) and lack of stock.

      • I understand that communication is a problem but i believe that is mostly due to him him only doing the builds by himself, an excessive amount of orders has put him in a bad position which i can agree on and i believe that he is working to correct this and while people highlighting their concern is important i dont think that issac should have to be dragged down by excessive amounts of backlash, we're all human and we all make mistakes so i hope that he can get the rest of the builds out soon and learn from this in future to better his company

        • yeah I think a lot of things happened that have not been entirely acknowledged by all sides of the community here, the comments by Titan Tech below may give some indication to what has happened along the way

    • Was never part of Virco. Despite the claims.

      • +1

        So, what's your angle?

You say you haven't ordered a system, yet seem to be the most upset.

        Just a bit odd. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

        • +1

Rep should not misrepresent. Rep should communicate not just here. Too much to ask?

          • +1

@Tariel: I mean yeah it is a bit when he has been building systems all day whilst trying to manage customer service, he cant do everything at once

            • +3

@TheFamousGroos: Shoulda put a hold on orders. Excessive orders is on the rep.

              Want to defend this too.

              • +2

@Tariel: Mate i'm not saying hes made the best choices but like why are you going out of your way to hang shit, yes i wont defend that choice while orders are still to be shipped but unless your comments will speed up that process why even make them?

                • +1

@TheFamousGroos: Take it up with frustrated customers. Who have been cutting him slack. Why even make your comments.

@Tariel: Because he has heard the negative response and is working to fix them, you havent even ordered a system so why the (profanity) are you making comments, if ripping into small buisness owners is your thing then good luck to you bud

@TheFamousGroos: Posting new deal without fulfiling orders is unfair for existing customers. Real unfair. You can understand that one day.

@TheFamousGroos: Did you just make an account to come to his defense ? Titan Tech's PR department ?

@TheFamousGroos: He needs to understand how to operate a business. If he kept everyone in the loop instead of having to win the lottery to get in touch with him it would be great. Most part of the day his landline and mobile number is disconnected. SMS and Dm's don't get replied to but he has time to create new builds for more customers to buy when these parts are the parts he doesn't have in stock.

I think everyone has been fair and given him the benefit of the doubt considering the huge influx of orders he's taken. At the end of the day he's biting off more than he can chew, and this post only turned outofstock when someone here called him out as the 7-12 days wasn't the case and either was the misleading in stock title.

All that aside what bugs me the most is once you pass that hurdle and get your system, it either comes with the wrong parts or you get green lines like above which prove the quality control or the post build testing isn't there when claimed. I'll happily give this bloke an extra 7 days or whatever it is, but when there's a question mark after that exceruciating wait, I become very anxious.

                  • @supersaiyanpotato: Exactly
Hopefully my system gets delivered this week.. but then I how will replacing faulty parts go if we couldn't even get a hold of Issac around a build and ship time.

Hey Tariel, Luis, the manager of Virco whom was originally doing all the physical labour and building of my systems through, specifically told me both on the phone and via text (Proof can be provided if really needed) that I am welcome to use Virco as my shopfront and that I would take care of the online customer service and marketing whilst they do the building, delivery and tech work.

In no way what I said was a lie, it may be outdated since they have decided to cut me out by posting on Oz Bargain themselves and prioritizing their builds over mine causing, in effect causing huge delays in ordering of stock and having to rebuild multiple PC's which have had issues they built, but definitely not a lie, that is offensive that you would even suggest that. I am a 22 year old trying to start an honest business here and you're making me out like some huge scammer trying to screw everyone over when its simply not true.

I am one man trying to build 100+ PC's which was thrown upon me out of no where after whom I thought was my partner made a decision to do things themselves. This meant ordering in lots of stock I didn't have, moving 100+ PC's worth of parts from 1 place to another, whilst answering 180 orders (customers) calls, texts, emails and Facebook messages. I have been up till 3-4am every night building PC's for almost 2 weeks now. I've ridden my motorbike all over Sydney for the last 2 weekends doing part swaps, repairs and part drop offs on some orders that had issues or wrong parts built by Virco (and 1 by myself). I am really doing my best to get them out ASAP.

All of this has been done will keeping ALL orders delivered within a 3-4 week time frame with the exception of a select few whom the customers didn't seem to upset over all. I know this is quite a long time but is the really so bad considering the circumstances?

Techfast have amazing service and great price PC's but there was a stage where they took 4-6 weeks to deliver a PC. I know this because me and a friend both ordered one each at the start of this year which took almost 2 months to arrive and that is what started Titan Tech. The idea that I wanted to delivery PC's quickly and not make the mistakes Techfast made, Alas, here I am, making the mistakes Techfast made.

So yes, I am 22, probably have no idea what I am doing, probably in way to deep. But is my heart in the right place? Absolutely. I want nothing more then to offer people computers at a fair price with the best customer service I can offer. I accept calls up to 11pm and will go out of my way to help with any issue even if it has nothing to do with the build.

Is the customer service lack luster? Yes
        Are the PC's late? Yes
Is this worth a "class action lawsuit" over some PC's being 10-12 days ove the delivery time? Not sure about that one.

I would like to note that I did not post the Facebook deal, I have a friend who has done that for me and is looking after all the Titan Mark 2 builds. So don't think I am wasting any of my time doing that.

I will say it again, if anyone is unsatisfied with the service please contact me for a refund, im not going to be a prick about it, That's is your money (and a lot of it) and I am happy to give it back if you do not like the way I am treating this situation. So far, the only people who are hating this is people who didn't even buy the PC. So in my books, I am keeping most people happy to the best of my ability.
