$250 for a controller with up/down/left/right and some buttons…. jeez. Gaming sure is for the elites

    • yeah, cant justify this

      • I can't justify one either personally but some people may be interested given the release of the new Series X/S.

Historically there isn't much of a discount on these. It went as low as $200 once.

Once you use one, the stock controller is like throwing a sausage down the hallway

What are you doing with your controllers?

    • +2

There will be issues with a small percentage of any product. Looking at the xbox subreddit this definitely isn't a widespread issue and you'd be covered under 2 years of warranty under ACL.

Best controller made paid 180 odd at start of the year

    • +2

Tell us how you got it for 180 young man.

  • How is this controller discounted when Microsoft branded accessories are meant to be excluded from the sale?

The quality control on these is no better than a standard controller that's why I wouldn't pay the premium

And if they've still got that rubber on the back like the first series it's just not worth it.

I paid $215 just asking for best price. These controllers.have 1 year warranty I just replaced one after 6 month a button no responding guess what I'm doing in 6 months.

  • Coupon does not apply to this basket :(

I personally think this controller is awesome, have had it since August and has improved my COD & Warzone performance by a mile, especially the 4 mappable buttons on the back and the tighter tension adjustments on the thumbtacks for pistol / snipe fights.

    • +3

Agree, Took me a very long time to understand why I would pay so much for a controller but since I got it I've never looked back. Every other controller feels like hot trash compared to it.

      • +1

Yeah I agree, all the reviews said the same thing - "You have to try it to really feel / see the difference".

I don't see myself going back to a standard controller (or at least not one without an cheap expansion paddle pack on the back) for FPS games going forward.

Don't need to move my thumb off the right stick at all whilst mapping the back buttons for movements such as jump, crouch, reload, switch weapon - doesn't sound like a big advantage but when it's a fast paced online FPS it makes the difference between a win or loss / life or death.

Ive been looking at purchasing this for my PC but I think i will go for a new Xbox X controller instead

  • I picked one up on fb for $80 a couple of days ago great weight and the built in battery and charge base is nice.
