Plus the living cost in Australia is higher than China. That reflects in the price of products as well.

Got this last night, paid $1,519.05 and got $75.95 back on cashrewards
My son ordered this last night and got the same. Works out to just over $1343, if you take into account the code, the $100 gift card (prepaid Mastercard) and CashRewards (+ $10 joining referral in my son's case). A pretty sweet deal compared to JB etc.
Last time I ordered the A8F, Cashrewards registered 2% of $4999 list price and i got 100 back.
