Double referral bonuses for Spaceship have expired now https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/581620 and a new batch of referral codes have been added with a $5 bonus. Not as good as last month but every little bit helps.

Referral codes will be valid from now until January 31st, 2021 this time.

A referral code will need to be added within 14 days of signing up, so you can add a referral code after account creation.

I have no association with Spaceship Voyager, only that I’ve had a good experience using it since the start of this year.

      I believe it might deserve a post if the value increases significantly but returning to normal value does not need a post.

      OP is benefiting by having Mods reset the pool of referrals so it greatly increases their chances of getting a referral and they get the added bonus of having their referral link highlighted in the post. I am actually a little surprised the Mods let this happen.

When I posted earlier it was just the random pool, but yes you are right now it has his dedicated referral link. I haven't up-voted this because I agree it should have the flush, but this isn't a bargain.

          Codes continue to change regardless of what promotion is on so we've shifted them down to 14 day expiry. Every user gets notified upon expiration to enter their code back in.

        Codes expire 14 days after a user puts their code into our system. No interaction from us and what is written in the OP is incorrect.

    This is from personal experience but I would stay away from anything Spaceship related. For something as serious as the finance business, the whole company is just a bunch of tech people and the service and expertise shows. Can't trust them with your money I'm afraid to say.

      Because OP is requesting the codes to be flushed after he posts a thread like this.
      They would need to be refreshed anyway as Spaceship is the one forcing the refresh on their end too.

      As above, codes automatically expire every 14 days with Spaceship Voyager due to the company refreshing the codes in their system. For reference, the default expiry of referral codes in our system is 365 days.

    Tried to open one of these last week. Thing is they only supporr money transfer via bank debit. As a result, they require to verify your account details by either you giving them your user and password to your bank (do people actually do that?!) , or uploading a bank statements which is pretty invesive in my opinion.

    I don't understand why you can't just use BPay or PayID and just verify your identity instead.

      I got this message from the referral I used from here also, but after I deposited money it took a couple of days but has now switched to "Transferring" status. I guess it could be the same error message when either party has not met the conditions ¯_(ツ)_/¯

    Why do people put in referral codes if they don't use the app?

    I took a random one for an "I Cheng" and there's no $5 bonus because it looks like they haven't made any investments. Asked Spaceship if they can change it to another one and they said no.

      Maybe better now to PM specific user to make sure they are eligible in situations were there are certain requirements needs to be met. Same with eToro, better to pm the user if they are eligible before using their code or referral link.
