      That might be the PS51D450 which isn't Full HD. Never seen the 550 for anywhere below $750 before (although JB at Bankstown had the display one for $749 iirc)

        No it is the D550. There have been a few posts on forums and whirlpool with people getting it for $750.

        NO. It was for the D550, see links below. Topbuy had it for $699 on multiple occasions for pickup from their Sydney warehouse. A number of JBs pricematched that including World Square and Bankstown.

      Probably trying to clear out stock, with Christmas being a good timing event, to make way for the new models coming out next year maybe? Most logical explanation I can think of.

      yeah as above they would just be wanting to clear stock. I am planning to wait until after Christmas when there will be a mad rush to clear models before the new ones come in, should be some serious bargains to be had.

    I was actually the lucky few who got it for $640. Furthermore I won a competition Macquarie Centre had at that time for a $100 voucher.

    Can't complaint anything much for the TV except it doesn't have the smart features. But you can always hook it up with your Lan connection and you can easier stream videos from your PC to watch on the TV.

        My receipt was a month ago of so, not sure whether you can still price match it but I can go find it for you when I get home. Apparently the car was won by someone from Canberra. I had at least 70 entries.

    Anyone know of the exact wireless dongle you need to get for this TV? Have found some rough leads, but nothing substantial as of yet - just want an eBay special as opposed to the Samsung one.
