Holycrap on a stick, great find!

    • +1

Thanks! When I first saw it I couldn't believe it either! I have gotten all the apps on sale!

      • +1

OP or Mods! Please update the title to read something to the extent "10 apps for $0.10 for the next 10 days to celebrate 10 billion app downloads"? It's more accurate and mentions that this freekin' awesome deal is going over the next 10 days. This will also ensure we don't have a fresh post tomorrow for the same bargain.

        More details: http://ausdroid.net/2011/12/07/google-selling-10-apps-for-0-…

    • Goes great with those who just bought the asus tablets!

  • Nice, this lead me to buy for the first time! However, is it possible to buy multiple apps at the same time? Now it seems its charging 10 cents from my debit card on each app purchase.. Sucks! Or is there something i've missed?

    • No, unfortunately there is not a way to buy multiple apps at the same time. As this is also the first time Google is selling so many apps at such a low price!

The reason is to celebrate the 10 billion downloads Android Market has achieved, I found out.

      • +2

Looks like they want another one billion today!

    • +9

Same here, been on Android for 2 years and I never bought a single app!

      • +2

Ditto. It's good marketing for them.. now my account's all set up with credit card, I guess I am more likely to pay for an app in future.

        • +2

          so true,
Look s like Google is serious about promoting its Google wallet, not only in the app store but this will also lead to more sales in the music store and everywhere else

Hey good marketing for them ,
          Good deals for us,

          I am not complaining :-)

  • +1

Great find and thanks for sharing.

OMG, just paid $3.30 for sWiftkey X a few weeks ago :~(

    Great find!

    • +7

getjar for fwee suckers…You Sir will have to give back your ozbargainer badge.
That said I did purchase the cynide and happiness app, lets hope it's not free

      • +1

Apps on the official Android Appstore will always update more promptly than those from the Amazon/Getjar catalogue and they're only 10c now, so I'd re-buy them even if you have them from one of these,

        • I had the getjar one,
but bought this one anyway, because this way I am sure of getting future updates to the app.

10 cents is nothing for the app..

  • +1

    Awesome find, thank you!

  • Great find, clicked straight past this in the morning trying to find a colouring app for my kid!

    • +1

Hey If don't have kids , but buy all the kids colouring apps anyway, will my partner get the wrong signals ?

  • Does anyone know how to buy apps without a credit card, since i don't have one?

    • +1

Do you have a debit card with MasterCard or Visa? Mine is a debit card with MasterCard and I am able to buy apps with it.

      • nope, no such luck, mine's just a straight debit card. I'll have to scab off a sibling.

        • +3

You could get a prepaid Mastercard over the counter at Woolies: http://tinyurl.com/cc9qb37

        • Awesome team teri

Shall do, didn't know you could go there for exactly what i wanted, thanks.

  • +1

+1 just for Fieldrunners HD. There goes my weekend.

    • +1

I wanted that game, but it wasn't available for my SGS i9000 :(

  • Very nice. Thanks for posting!

The discount does not apply to the tablet version of some of the apps though (color & draw, swift key x).

    • You're welcome!

Sad.. wanted to find out whether the tablet versions are included or not but my tablet was out of battery..

  • +1

    I bought 2 games for $0.2

    • +1

I found if you buy a app, you can download it to all your android devices.
I tried on my two A500 tablets

      • I bought five apps today.

  • Minecraft - Pocket Edition
    kids painting

    • +1

If you have kids who play your android mobile/tablet, make sure you set up a pin for purchasing apps in the market. otherwise expect to have a shock bill especially if you installed some app with in app purchase. Some guys have hundreds dollars purchases in a day by their kids.

  • +2

You Sir have found the elusive android app sale jackpot I have been waiting for. The smile on my face is as big as your cute little yellow avatar.

    • +1

Haha thanks! Here you go, another one :D!

  • +3

I got 7 out of 10. exceptions: soundhound, asphalt(already got it from my SGS2) and sketchbook
PS: I dont get the benefit of swiftkey, I am so used to swype and flex T9 that pressing every letter for typing is kinda boring.

    • Yeah I'm very used to Swype Beta but now, the Swype in the SGS 2 is the old version so I can only wait, while alternating between SwiftKey and TouchPal :S

      • You can replace the Swype version on the SGS2 (I have), google it.

      • Agree, I don't get whats swift about swiftkey after using swype.

        • Thats because you guys don't use dual languages. Swiftkey is good because I can type in English and another language with full dictionary at the same time without having to stop and switch languages.

        • Unfortunately this 'other' language doesn't include Asian languages (Chinese, Japanese and Korean)… so touchkeys is still more international friendly!
I've bought this and played around for a bit, the most interesting part about SwiftKey is the adaptive learning style based on how you type =)

        • I actually do use dual languages, and although it is a pain to switch (honestly they should do something about that) would still rather use Swype for English since it is soooo much better.

    • agree! Trying to go back to one key press typing is excruciating after using Swype - and I make everyone jealous when i show them it while they keep making fat thumb mistakes on their iPhone. Just wish I could do it on my keyboard on my computer - it seems so ridiculously fast!

  • I have now also become a first time purchaser on android market. Nice one google!

    Will these offers change everyday?

    • I hope they do :)

  • Awesome :D Got 5 of them!

oh crap, I bought the first app from my computer after I registered with G wallet. How do I get it to download thru my phone? I received the email confirmation but it doesn't provide a link to the download and it is asking for $0.10c on the marketplace.

update : Oh, silly me, if you go into the apps list on the Gmarketplace you can find it hiding down the bottom of the list.

update 2:I only got 2 apps, papercam and minecraft , because most of the other games are apparently incompatible with my Acer Liquid Metal, and the utility apps were a bit meh. Still a good find.

    • The purchase is link to your Google account. Once purchase, they are available for all future updates and devices you own.

      • +2

New to android world. Can we install purchased app to multiple android devices (phone + tablet) linked to one google account?

        • Yes, you should be able to.

Most applications I own have been installed to phone + tablet. At one point some were installed to three devices (Optus MyTab which I took overseas last month).

        • I'm assuming so, but not 100%. Need to test when I get home tonight. They came straight to my phone, so I'm hoping they work on my tablet too. Great find too OP, I've never purchased from the android market (besides free apps), but this made me purchase :)

EDIT: I have just looked at purchase history and opened up one of the apps I had installed on my phone. As a test, from the Paper Camera app page, I hit the purchased link and chose to install it to my xoom. No request to be charged again happened. Will confirm that it's on my xoom also when I get home

        • Yes

        • Yes you can

  • Thanks, awesome bargain.

  • 9 apps for 90 cents… Bargain… Thanks

  • +1

Holy shite, thanks so much nanoronline! Been wanting to buy Minecraft and Endomondo… but never really wanted to pay for them. 10c each is awesome! Just spent 50c… yep, I'm a big spender.

    • Haha yeah I got them too. Just the two of them originally cost so much! Now it's just 20cents..

    • +1

Bought another five today. Decided to get AirSync, don't think I'll use it as I don't like iTunes, but I've used doubletwist, and wondered if it was any good… I'd install iTunes on my PC if this app was useful enough.

Thanks nanoronline, you've cost me $1 in the last two days. You're gonna put me out of business soon! But ten new apps to play with is pretty sweet. Can't wait to see what tomorrow's are!

      • Spend spend spend! Muahahahaha!

  • Some of them were ex-free app of the day from Amazon Appstore. However, for 10 cents each, I will buy them on the market.

One thing though, I bought apps from Android Market before. I always get charged an overseas transaction fee by my credit card provider.

    • Hmmm.. Do you have a debit card with MasterCard or VISA? Try use debit instead if you can. I don't get any fees with my app purchases.

And the good thing with buying from Android Market is that it'll always get updated and you'll get notified if there's an update, instead of having to check by yourself like with Amazon.

      • Amazon notify now with an updated version of their app

      • Woolworths debit card lists a 2.5% trtansaction charge - which one do you use? (I just checked becuase I received an email about card fee being waived - I was considering it…. but too many fees

    • No overseas transaction fees this time!!

First time buyer and it charged me only .1 $ and the 2 $ verification fee which will come back in a week :-)

      Fantastic find !#@$^@##$%
      Great find nanoronline

  • My first 2 app purchases @ 10c each which Google has a pending charges on my credit card of these amount, plus a separate item "PENDING - GOOGLE CHECKOUT INTERNET…" of $2!!! I didn't buy anything for 2 bux.
Please tell me that this is an account verification test that is refunded by them?

    • Erm.. Sorry i have no idea.. It's been a year since I first bought apps.. And with Google Wallet now their policy has changed. So hopefully, you're right?

      • I don't have time to read thru their TOS but will wait a few days for them to refund the amount, probably just a holding amount to prevent CC fraud and protect the merchant.

    • +1

Same here. I'm using Commonwealth debit MasterCard. Hope this fee will be refunded..

    • +2

Yup I got charged $2 a few weeks back when I first bought my first app (for my new email address). But after a week later it got refunded! =)

So don't fret about it! You will get that 2 bux back!

    • +1

Its just Google checking that you have a valid credit card, I called up Comm Bank and asked them. It will be cancelled in a few days

    • i got charged ($2) too! with visa ccd

  • Awesome

  • Found "Great Little War Game" and "SketchBook Mobile" for $0.10 each as well!
    Thanks for the find!

    • got SketchBook for free after flashing Netherland official SGS2 2.3.6 ROM

  • thx!
where can i find the whole list?

  • +1

Might as well buy them all!

  • These are awesome apps esp minecraft, swiftkey, soundhound.YAY: time to buy them all!

  • Why can't I find almost any of these applications in the market? For example, I search for "sketchbook", get 105 results, but there is no "Sketchbook Mobile" among them.
I have a phone with android 2.2, and this app require 2.1, so there should be no compatibility issue..

  • Is today Day #1? Just hope we did not miss a day. Hopefully, we get more good apps for 10 cents for the next 9 days. Saw Need For Speed: Shift and other nice games in the banner app… Wouldn't mind getting some of those for 10 cents each.

The only catch is… you need to have a compatible device to purchase the app. Some apps. want a high end Android phone. Why can't we just purchase them and stock them up for later use?

    • Yeah I saw that too when I tried to get Asphalt. I'll be buying a new phone next year and I'd like to play the game then!

Can we change our phone profile settings temporarily?

      • I tried to buy Asphalt on my HTC Sensation (which is a pretty new phone) and it said that it wasn't compatible!

@netsurfer today is day 1. 9 more days to go!

  • +1

Awesome find….First time bought something on Market. Bought them all

  • +3

From all accounts there will be a different set of 10 each day for 10 days.

    http://goo.gl/MBXct

So for 100 apps you may just be splurging $10 :P

Original poster, you should chuck that in the description/title

    • We need someone to update this daily then :)
Want to grab all the bargains!

  • Great deal.

    Got 7 of them.

(OT: Unfortunately for me my new BP cable wireless dropped out and all these downloaded not on WiFi but via 3G so they have cost me a lot more than 10c each, some of them are very large files. Shakes fist at BigPond supplied router, this never happened when I was on Internode /rant.)

    • Don't you have free data on your phone?

      • Yes and No, prepaid recharge balance was getting so high I swapped to a plan where I pay for data ATM 200MB for $10. I usually squeeze in under 200MB in a month, but this set of apps killed that!
Beats paying $30 per month, (Simplicity pay for calls and text and data to use up my credit)

        • +2

$18 a month with $550 calls and 1.5Gb data.. TPG

  • Bought 9 of them

  • I just noticed that banner on the market for the promotion has the icon for Fruit Ninja / Flight Track / Read It Later and other apps not in today's promotion - So I assume we will be getting some more great deals in the next few days!

    Keep it coming!!! :P

    • Nice, I was just about to buy the fruit ninja! I'll wait and see and hopefully those banner pic apps are going to be 10c sometime in the next 10 days.

  • Starting today for the next 10 days, we’ll have a new set of awesome apps available each day for only 10 cents each. Today, we are starting with Asphalt 6 HD, Color & Draw for Kids, Endomondo Sports Tracker Pro, Fieldrunners HD, Great Little War Game, Minecraft, Paper Camera, Sketchbook Mobile, Soundhound Infinity and Swiftkey X.

    http://android-developers.blogspot.com/

    • Damn this will be an expensive 10 days! Oh wait…

  • SoundHound ∞ is cool, can recognize music in multi language!!
if english song, cost less than 5 secs to end the search~

  • +1

There goes $10 of my monthly budget :)

    • -4

not $10, $1 of your monthly budget :-)

      • +5

10 days… rougly $1 a day (if you want buying all the apps). so $10 is about right.
