This promo is to celebrate Android Market reaching 10 Billion of Downloads! All for just 10 cents each!

Remember to not purchase all the apps at one go. Keep at least a few minutes between each purchase to avoid having them pending / cancelled. If you are having such problem, just click refund in the Market app and purchase again!

      Yup I think this is the best deal ever… At least for Android users.. Getting an Android device soon? If so better try using one of those methods mentioned in the thread on how to collect them first for the future.

      Regarding having a 5 cents promotion, might have to wait till they reach 50 billion downloads.. Which might not be that far ahead after all, with the help of the 10 days apps offer thing :D

          Was the app still installed after you have gotten the error? I remember the only few times I saw that error was in Day 1 when I bought the apps too fast. Try to buy the apps one buy one slowly.

          Try refund if possible after the error and click back to the menu previously and click the app again to purchase.

      Either way is same,
      Just space the purchases apart in time. Sometimes it does cost me 20 cents for an app, not worth haggling as long as I get the apps.

        yes well at least there are 11 apps today,

        so 10 excluding paper camera. but most of the rest are pretty ordinary, new apps many have only around 1000 reviews / downloads

        My Paper Camera purchase failed on the first day due to buying some apps too quickly, so I'm glad I got the chance to get it properly this time.

          Yeah, same here. But I also got an email from this morning them apologising for my cancelled purchase, and that I could download it for free if I went in to My Apps and whatever else it said. Tried that and it didn't work, so I just went to purchase it again for 10c, but it didn't charge me, so yeah. All good :)

    Anyone notice the number of 1 star rating for NFS:Shift is almost the same number as it its 5 star rating?
    5 stars = game is awesome, yay!
    1 star = stupid EA, your game is broken and rubbish and not working, want my money back!

    Shame the previous days apps haven't remained at the low price.
    On the bright side I'm impressed that you only have to buy one copy per Google account, so it can be installed on multiple devices, great being able to put some of them on my Tab too. Nice to know if I ever consider full price apps in the future.

    This is great but my Androids memory is getting near full.

    Whats the easiest way to clear space so I can use them later??
    Or maybe I should ask… how long do I need to have them installed before I can remove them?

      If you remove them within 15 mins they get refunded. If you delete them after, they remain on your account. Alternatively, install them on your microsd card if your phone allows.

        I am using a little Huawei X3 phone with limited memory until Sammy get their act together with the new Galaxy TAB.
        I have had a few Androids in the past and they all show up in my account, which is handy as it allows me to buy apps that the Huawei would not see.

        One more question: do you know what the story is with an app I buy but don't install? I bought a couple "for" my old TAB that I don't have anymore as the X3 couldn't get them.

        Hopefully they will just sit idle in my account.

      Shazam basic limits how many times you can tag a month and Encore is unlimited. In the past, the basic version could do unlimited tags too until they shut it down. Plus there are some additional social features in Encore (somewhat useless) and no ads (somewhat cooler). Well worth the 10c over basic.

        It's free for android for the first year or two, then its subscription based.
        iPhone's whatsapp is a once-off fee.
        Work-around:
        1. Get someone with an iPhone who has got Whatsapp
        2. Delete their Whatsapp
        3. Install from App store
        4. Use your number in their re-installed Whatsapp
        5. Sign in to your number
        6. Your Whatsapp expiry date for your number should be extended now by like 10 years or something :)

      They're linked to your Google account (this includes your Gmail, youtube, Calendar, Android etc) and when you get a new device, you can reinstall these at any time once you've signed in.

    Word of warning, quite a number of these 'cheap apps' are actually free on getjar. Stuff like Paper Camera, Can knockdown 2, Jelly Defense, just to name a few.
    So check it first! Sure 10c doesn't seem much, but it's infinitely more than 0c!

      Also, getjar recently implemented app updates (which is the only reason I bought apps from the market in the first place).

      However, if your like me and prefer all your apps in one place then you can't really go wrong for 10c.

      In my case, it gives me the opportunity to install the app. (Originally, Gameloft cancelled my purchase). To me, it wasn't a big deal that Gameloft cancelled it because my tablet comes with the game free anyway. But now, I can install it on my phone.

      One very minor issue… Would have preferred Google to send the e-mail notification the same way Apple does - 1 e-mail for a day worth of purchases, rather than 1 per app purchase.

      Asphalt 6 - it is okay. 10 cents.. worth a look.

    New to Android.
    Can I purchase it to download on my optus ZTE and then download to my other android device in the future?
    Or is it only limited to that only original device I downloaded onto?
