Wait, the power button is included in the price? DEAL!

It's a red power button so it'll turn on and off extra fast.

A red ̶Z̶a̶k̶u̶ power button I hear is three times faster than the regular…..

Wish it had an extra 8 USB 3.0 ports

I'm not really up on mini PCs but surely that 6yo CPU is a huge downside for power/heat/performance on a $420 device.

Overpriced old hardware, with no clear support (should you need it). Suggest waiting for one of Dell's 20-30% off sales.

I bought a system similar to below (with Intel AX201 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth, and 3x DisplayPort output) during the Black Friday sale for $729:

  • Their GK55 is worth a look @ a smidge over $300.

Have a couple of Gemini X55.
One is connected to an Epson 1080p PJ and soundbar in the bedroom.
Apart from a glitch with sound balance which disappeared, these are good little machines which consume little electricity.
Good for surfing the internet, watching Netflix and playing FLACs.

Pop in a 2 TB HDD and/or a TF card if 256 GB is insufficient storage.

    • also has 2x NICs and cpu supports AES-NI so could make for a good router

      • looking at a few of the beelinks and other intel nucs

thinking of using one of these units as a router for gigabit FTTP

with a 10 or so port switch , wondering what other units i should look at and what software would be best to use ?

consoles and a pc - wired

tablets and other things wireless currently have an old 68U

  • Why no love for the AU plug; we're too small of a market I'm guessing? :<
