We can now confirm that JB Hi-Fi will be taking PS5 pre-orders in store starting today with stock set to arrive on or after January 21st.

As of today, stores have received their allocations for the next shipment meaning that they can now take pre-orders for the drop happening next week. You’re best to call your local JB Hi-Fi before heading in just in case they have already pre-sold out.

    Anyone got the SMS from Doncaster, I called earlier and they said they hadn't received the stock and admitted comms from head ofice was pretty unreliable, suggested a week!!!!

    I'm tempted to call and try again (but don't want to be that guy), I thought Doncaster would be one of the larger stores in VIC and would probably get their allocation pronto.

    Finally picked up mine from south wharf.
    Also my store was taking the 1 order per customer thing pretty seriously. Overheard staff putting someone on some sort of 'do not sell' list for future orders for using his cousins to get multiple units somehow.

    Spoke with Westfield Carousel store in Perth, guy was pretty rude and just said no stores in Perth have stock yet and they don’t know when they will be arriving.

    In other news guys, if anyone needs extra controller for $64 or $84 I managed TGG to price matched Amazon price for $104 for the dual sense.

    $104 - 20 (Latitude Pay Promo spend $60 get $20 off) = 84 ($20 Concierge voucher) = $64 in total.

    Latitude promo runs from today until tomorrow.

        I just subscribed this morning then when I was there in-store. I asked for a price match on Amazon for $104 but there is another seller on Amazon for $89 but I don't know if they will allow it because its quite low.

        You get the $20credit on Latitude, I paid it off right away. Lucky that I have the $20 concierge as well the you can combine

      Prices are dropping fasts, alot of scalppers might end up stuck with their goods if more stock keeps coming online.

          it is getting to the point where there is very little margins to be made. Just checked the lowest Ebay offer is also 1k and ebay gets around 15% marges so they only currently have about $100 to profit from. If Sony drops another few more thousand consoles they aren't going to risk buying more stock when they might still have a number of unsold consoles at home and that is when the consoles are ready avaliable to buy at retails stores.
