Logitech MX Master 3 Wireless Mouse Graphite $119 Delivered/C&C @ Officeworks

1050

Another deal on this same mouse.

Its $0.20c cheaper than the deal at Big W (although it would have been cheaper to price beat Big W at Officeworks to come to $113.24) but Big W have no stock left by the looks of it, and I doubt Officeworks will price beat no stock.

$199 on this is a deal? Lulwut?

    • +4 votes

$119 is the price. I'll fix the title.

    It's supposed to be $119

Oopsy, that first nine is supposed to be a one. Although I've done worse in the past by forgetting the price altogether.

Anyone having trouble actually buying it? Either I'm broke or the Officeworks payment section is down…

    • +1 vote

      No luck here either.

Officeworks was kind enough to charge me twice and not give me an order number either time. This should be fun.

      •

Good luck with that! I've still had no luck.

        •

          no issues for me

  • +1 vote

Called up. Known issue with the website, fix should be deployed around 1730AEDST. I called up and was able to place an order over the phone.

Failed payments will apparently be refunded…

    •

Just had a crack. Worked fine. Was a new look checkout experience so sounds like they were updating some stuff.

Been waiting for this. Thanks Op

Have we not all got one of these yet?

    • +1 vote

not me as a ture ozbargainer I won pay more than 100 bucks for a mouse

    •

I'm waiting for sub $100 or the next version (although I can't imagine how it can be any better lol)

      • +1 vote

        adjustable DPI?

    •

Maybe not……probably because we can't use our Eneloops in them anymore

    •

I only just got the MX Master a few weeks ago. Not much need for me to upgrade to a 3 given I don't game.

      •

There's a significant DPI boost between the Master and Master 3s. Enough that you may notice it in day to day stuff.

  •

I have this mouse, got this for mac for office use. The side mouse buttons thats used for back and front navigation double clicks on mac. Tried a few tricks and none work. Anybody has a solution that works?

    •

I use an app called USB Overdrive to map those buttons

      •

OK, Let me try it out. Thanks!

        • +1 vote

have you tried the logitech MX software or whatever its called? logitech options now maybe?

          •

@Laserface: Doesnt help, I had it installed even before the mice was purchased for the keyboard I use.

    •

Sounds like a problem with your config. You can map those buttons to do certain tasks that are application specific. For me, switching between worksheets in Excel is a PITA so mine are mapped to navigate between each sheet.

Try a clean install of Logi Options and try it again.

      •

Tried all of those stuff, the suggested solution is to use logitech gaming software which apparently wont work on big sur. This is a problem with just the master3.

        •

I'm running mine on a MBP M1 with Big Sur and it's seamless. Between that and the MX Keys, I'm in productivity heaven lol

Have you tried another computer? Or with bluetooth vs USB (or vice versa)? Short of that, return and exchange it under warranty.

          •

@KangaDrew: I have the mx keys in office and yes its good. But the mice buttons sux, I have the mx3 advanced. It works fine on windows so I dont think warranty helps. https://www.reddit.com/r/LogitechG/comments/gcs5p5/forward_a...

Unfortunately all the solutions go back to the older version of the OS where one could install Logitech gaming software. Big Sur aint getting one because of a lot of changes (and probably want to sell thier own mice more) and trying the same on options didnt help.

            •

@John Doh: Hmmm, that's really odd. On my MBP via BT, I had it up and running in a few minutes and it hasn't skipped a beat. Unless there's a difference between the business and standard versions (outside of the colour)…?

Real shame you can't get it going on both!

              •

@KangaDrew: Finally got it working, had to try a few different settings (individual applications settings in the logi options software). Too bad I was lazy all these days and didnt use the mouse. lol.

        •

If you’re connecting via Bluetooth it may be related to well documented Bluetooth issues with Big Sur. Fix apparently ‘coming soon’.

          •

@outofgamut: Are you referring to the keyboard lag on Big Sur? I have that issue with the MX Keys (not the Master 3) but only when using Webex, Zoom, Google Meet or MS Teams. Any time I have a VC call going, I can't have a Slack conversation at the same time with my colleagues on the call because it is painfully laggy.

Using the WiFi receiver fixed the issue though, but I originally purchased it for the BT connection. Hoping that fix comes soon because I want to free up that USB slot on my monitor :-)

My MX3 still works great after 2 years

It was only released in September 2019 though…

      Think, McFly! Think!

Unless you can time travel, you likely have a 2S, not a 3

  •

Yesterday’s order at BigW seems to be OOS. Cancelled it and ordered from OW, with free shipping. Thanks OP.

  •

My Gen 1 is still going strong (don’t even remember how many years I’ve had it for). Was planning on getting one of these for WFH, but I’m spending 98% time in office now.

Convince me to buy one. I need a push!

    • +2 votes

      You should buy one

    •

I'm in the same boat, only mine is still in the box unused from a random deal. Doesn't seem to stop Ozbargain tempting me into upgrading.

  •

Finally FFS been waiting for this for ages.

Wanted to get the light grey one from amazon but it's coming from the UK :( covid

    •

covid won't survive the lengthy transit time from the UK. You're overly cautious IMO.

      • +3 votes

I think Gallifr3y meant postage delays rather than the virus on the item ;-)

        •

This lol. I've ordered heaps from the UK via amazon especially those pc fans. Issue I just discovered if it comes from amazon UK, you have to return it at your cost to amazon UK if it's simply change of mind - if somebody could correct me if i am wrong on this.

          •

@Gallifr3y: On the UK return I did last week, Amazon return label is via Australia Post Global. There was nothing to pay. I just had to drop it off at the Post. I haven't got the refund yet, though. I guess I have to wait until they unpack it in the UK.

Still managed to get it price matched last night for just over $113 and used some of my gift cards I bought with the recent Zip 10% cashback deal. The spirit of Ozbargain ;-)

  •

This now appears OOS. Unfortunately this item is currently out of stock! Please remove or replace item to continue

    •

I just bought it now, so it doesn't seem to be out of stock

      •

When in checkout, after selecting a delivery address and then View delivery options for this address
I get This product is temporarily unavailable, but here is something similar!

It must be shipped from a local or same state store?

    •

It's coming up as in stock online. Limited stock at stores.

  •

Was in stock this arvo at Sydney Hunter Street.

  •

    Is this suitable for laptop?

    • +1 vote

It doesn't have a screen, keyboard or operating system, so it might be limited as a laptop. I guess you could tap out morse code with some of the buttons.

Yes, it will work fine with your laptop if you have Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 or later, macOS 10.13 or later, Linux(1) whatever that means; and
      a USB port or Bluetooth.

It is most suited to right handed people like most of the world.

It works for my Ipad as well

  •

Been waiting for this for a very long time. Missed out on the Big W one (no stock anywhere I could drive to). Sorry guys - got the last one in outer SE Melbourne (Dandenong Officeworks) in store.

  • +2 votes

For those who couldn't purchase one from Officeworks or Big W, I was able to get Bing Lee to price match at $119. Hope this helps anyone who is looking for one.

    •

thanks, I was able to price match at TGG & use my $100 store credit :)

  •

I'm actually super mad at Big W right now.

Ordered it via them, they've cancelled the order after a few days and now there's no stock of this for online.

    🙄
