          Are you aware that old Xbox controllers work with the new console? Only difference really between new controller vs old controller is a better D pad and the extra grips on the back (which im not a huge fan of)…
          I'm actually mainly using my old controller with the new console and I bought an extra one with Telstra rewards points…

    I've been really enjoying mine. I find it extremely hard to go back to the Switch for Nintendo games now though haha. And my thought of "I'll get Game Pass so I won't really have to buy many games" went out the window with all the holiday sales ;)

      Just look for the X on the top right, they had a huge badge on the front but of course everyone moaned about it so they removed it. This is only going to be an issue when the XB1 is supported which looks to be the last year this year.

    Just go into EB or JB, they often have stock now just don't show it online. Picked a Series X up yesterday from an EB they said they had a few left and have been getting a few… go instore and ask

        That might be true. The shipments now are sporadic and intermittent, not regular. So it might be a while until scheduled regular shipments do start coming.

      Yeah. I walked into EB last Friday at midday to buy some Switch games. I hadn't intended to buy a Series X but they had one in stock (delivered the previous afternoon) so I bit the bullet. Stock is definitely starting to flow into stores.

    Whats the point of disks if the game updates are insanely big anyways? I got a copy of Fallout 76 on sale at EB and was keen to play it when I got home, turns out it needed a 78GB update. Seriously whats the point of disks..

        While it's true sales of physical discs generally seem cheaper and more frequent, to be fair as someone who doesn't buy games on disc, I can't remember the last time I bought a digital game at full price. (though I don't buy games when they're released generally)

      you can also use disc to watch movies if you don't have one already
