Please add to the title "2% off !!!"

I'm assuming it includes the keyboard in the pic that you posted ?

  • Thanks OP. Was literally shopping on this all weekend and today at the MS business store.

Err the 256GB HDD model is $2149 on your link.

      • so it is, stand corrected just saw 8GB and went with it, will fix up neg (done) but no upvote, for $50 difference on a business product I think MS free returns and 60 day return policy are worth the difference.

      • It RRP is $2149 but the actual price is $2100.90 for the i5 8GB 256GB model

I bought a surface pro many eons ago ie. i5 8GB 256GB for around $1200, what the heck has happened to Mircrosoft's pricing structure???

    • yank gouging in a protected market with multiple import controls and distributor collusion. expect to see this indefinitely and worse .

Funniest thing is no-one in this thread is tossing out supply and demand like it was the sole explanation of market pricing…..

      • Import controls?

        • spelt correctly …

How is this a deal??!! Got a MacBook Air for $1400 with free AirPods and an mobile broadband off of eBay auction for $30, does pretty much everything this does cheaper and better

    • Surface is a tablet.

The Apple equivalent is iPad Pro, $1800 with similar specs. $2400 with keyboard (ouch!)

      • I’ve used surface pros for 4-5 years, the tablet experience, if any, is mediocre at best

Problem is a MacBook air. No thanks

      • -1

How is air a problem? The new M1 generates very little heat, and outperforms even 11th gen i7s in many benchmarks

If you have access to an Edu email address. The Lenovo S540 deal is a lot better then this one for $1097.10.

The AMD Ryzen 7 4800U octacore CPU in the Lenovo has much better multi-threaded performance compared to Intel i7 11th Gen and the Apple M1, based on Cinebench R23, running on their native operating systems.

Do people not get that the Surface is a tablet? Overpriced, sure, but you can't just substitute a random laptop.

  • Microsoft sent me one of these last week. A great surface if you need an upgrade, the removal SSD is a great addition.
