      You can sell it to CEX for $1049 cash at the moment, but their prices do fluctuate often, so that price might go up or down.

              @KOBH: I bet there's going to be an influx of people trying to flog off their $749 PS5 consoles to CEX trying to get $1049 for it. I can't see CEX offering that price for long.

              And CEX is going to get bit when the value of the consoles lowers less than $1049 when Sony ramps up supply and then every one can get it for less. That's going to be a money loser for them. Going by the increased amount of $749 PS5 coming up for sale at retailers it looks like supply is indeed ramping up.

              So i can not see CEX offering to buy the PS5 for $1049 for very long. The more consoles there are the less harder it gets to obtain for the $749 means the monetary value that these scalpers are trying to flog it off for drops considerably. They're going to get bit hard with money loss.

            @Marc101: Not for much longer. No one in their right mind would buy it for $1050 or more from CEX when they can more easily buy it from retailers for $749 with this increased supply. This is now a big money loser for CEX and they will start to realise it now. I'm very surprised if they are offering $1049 for a boxed PS5. It's $749 constantly from retailers with an ever increasing supply now. CEX is going to be losing hundreds of bucks on each console.

            Like you lot here many just got their PS5 for $749.

    Made the order but in my haste, put in the wrong email account! Called them up but they said they can’t change it. I created a big w account though with the wrong email address and can see the order there and the charge has come through to my credit card but still a bit concerned

          Well then it will be delivered to the correct delivery address. The email address is only for email communication with you if there's an issue and also a copy of the order invoice gets sent there. But the order details show up in the order history in the account. You can get the order number from there.

          Just make another Big W account for future use with the correct email address and you'll be fine as dandy.

      These are all pretty much launch PS5. Just it takes a while for the stock to start flowing through. Is all exactly the same model.
