They accused me of fraud when I preordered back on Sept 17, had to prove I owned my bank card with a statement… After all that bullshit turns out they cancel orders when the account is 'under review' anyway
Hearing this and having my Amazon order canceled due to "fraud" I suspect my Big W order also which is stuck on "Being Fulfilled" is also th same……

I agree they are Twits knowing that if you order a 1 per customer item again they will take the payment and not fulfil it . Leaving messing around with their shitty customer service getting a refund .
Competent businesses don't permit it to get to the payment stage .
I've known this for a while so I stop at whatever there limit is nowadays .
just called bigw, they said it wont be cancelled, but it will take 3 - 4 business days to get processed……..I really should order from Amazon, shame
yeah i only saw amazon had it after i'd paid Big W , was immediately pissed at myself. Even then I tried to put one in my cart on amazon but it was all sold already.

When I asked about Error message, processing and now picking status, they told me "I see your order is currently Pending, we will send you an email when your order has shipped"

Damn! I ordered from Big W and Amazon. The Amazon shipment came this morning and wanted to cancel the Big W order as it hasn't shipped yet.
Free return at any BigW store you just won’t get refunded for the shipping unfortunately
Perhaps you shouldn’t have been greedy and bought from two separate places when you already had one confirmed. Someone missed out because you were too greedy.
@Normalperson: i think we should all know by now that being 'confirmed' doesn't guarentee you'll get one.
@bigchunguss: Does that change the fact that someone missed out because of your greed. (Very similar to scalpers). You can downvote all you like, doesn’t change the fact that you all double dipped out of greed (and will most likely sell the second at a profit).
@Normalperson: I didn't downvote you. If someone really wanted a console its not that hard to follow pages/set up alerts to get notified when they drop. Its not anyone elses fault they missed out but theirs.
@bigchunguss: Even if they did that, they still could have missed out due to greedy people double (or triple) dipping. Also, by the same logic you can justify scalpers. “If they really wanted it for RRP, they can easily just get there before I did!”.
Just buy one instead of trying to buy from every single retailer. How hard is it?

@Normalperson: Well, sure, one person missed out on the initial order but I’m not keeping both and I’m not going to try and sell it at a higher price. So technically no one is missing out because I’m just going to refund it allowing someone else to buy it or see if one of my friends wants it.

Ordered at 8:50, “track my order” page still says “Payment Processing”. Paid with credit card. Doesn’t bode well seeming though others have already shipped.

Late last night I got an email from Woolies Fraud team to verify it was me as I used a different email. After some to and fro she approved my order. The only change I've seen from payment processing is when you put the order number in tracking box, then it says payment received thank you. Otherwise I have awaiting processing still elsewhere but it's moving forward .

Just got told it's shipped
I just spoke to the customer support team. For context I'm in Sydney and order was placed at 8:51am. My order has been sitting on "picking in progress" for the majority of time since then. Also I paid via AfterPay.
She told me, as the order was in the picking in progress status, its passed the period where it can be cancelled. She said if it was to be cancelled it would have been earlier and not been allocated to the warehouse. She said its been assigned to the Hoxton Park warehouse.
I also asked if it was possible the stock allocation has been exceeded, and if I was now waiting the next batch. She said no, the order would have been cancelled if this was the case.
So, looks promising if your order is at picking in progress status at this stage. Also, I have not seen any comments of any cancellations being issued since yesterday morning, so I feel pretty confident at this stage.
Fingers crossed, good luck to all those who's payments are still processing!
