      I’m an autoglym guy.
Polar blast, polar wash then their shampoo conditioner. Finish up with polar seal

      • I think you and I need to have a Chat!

        I just picked up
        1. Magma Paint Decontamination $20
        2. Polar Blast 2.5L $31.50
        3. Vinyl and Rubber care $13.30

Been using the wash for so long and I love it. Didn't know they had a conditioner too.

        • Nice :)
Your car is going to look awesome!

  • The only drying towel you will need.

Good to have an old car - don't need this.

    • Great - save money on the car, save money on the towel.

    • Is there any proof/tests that it is "way better"? They're the same price, and I'm looking for a good drying towel.

Regular microfibre drying towels are old tech, twisted loop are far superior: https://youtu.be/orHyJSwurPA

        • Thanks for that vid. What a funny guy, and I think I'm sold.

Cars use better towels than I do. :(

      Buy this for yourself

  • Urgh! Do I need a third one?

  • I was gifted one for Christmas last year. Best present ever. I can dry my small i30 in 2 minutes and it works much better than a cheap Kmart one.

  • Since the $3 bonus from Cashrewards has expired, does anyone have any extra bonus stacking discounts/tips?

      • Brilliant, cheers. I have a 5% giftcard that I don't think I can use for sca because according to the SB site:
        {
To Ensure Supercheap Auto Discount Code and Cashback Eligibility
        DON'Ts
Gift card purchases unless otherwise stated
        }
Still gets me a $2.44 discount so thanks!

  • For a lazy bugger like me that keeps his black car outside, no sap, no bird crap, what's the minimum kit/procedure I need for a weekly wash?

    • +1

      Here ya go mate

ChrisFix also goes into a lot of detail, but if you follow the first quarter of the video, you'll be right.

Essentially, 2 bucket wash -> dry -> wax-> seal. Then every week, just wash with a wax based wash.

      • Hey thanks a lot, that's perfect. Got to admit I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed, especially as my car is gritty and needs the whole strip and clay bar thing. I will practice on the misses car and earn some brownie points.

        • Just follow ChrisFix to the T. He uses soapy water (Soppy Wooder) . Don't go out and buy all of it at once, wait for them to go on sale then get in when the price is right. SCA also gives you credits if the price drops, so that's another bonus.
          You can skip step 2 & 4 & 5 & 11.
Go with Option 2 - use ANY wax you fancy. For 11, there are cheaper options out there.

lazy buggers never get a black car and always get white.

      • I was too lazy to even think about colour. In hindsight I think metallic gold hides dirt the best.

  • The website says this offer expires 7/3/21 (in case someone can update the expiry of this deal).

    • Done. Thanks.

  • THESE are of comparable quality and you get far more value for your money [costco membership required]. cheaper in-store also as the online price is inclusive of "delivery". off memory i think for a pack of 36 you only pay $26. worth every cent.

    • Not even close between this the bgs. I have both and its a biggg nope.

      • In terms of chamois/water drying off the paint , i can agree that there is a big difference between the two.

In terms of quality and softness on the paint on hand application they are pretty comparable.

People also make mistakes and may accidentally pick-up dirt from an unwashed area and due to the large size of the big green sucker could easily hit the ground if you are not careful then you are stuck , you can't just apply it back to the paint , sure you could fold it over but the reality is $24 for 1 towel , vs $26 for 36 towels…well it speaks for itself.

Again not fully disagreeing with you i just feel value for money is best spent on another product for the vast majority.

        • I agree but from all my using of it for drying the outside. I only use the bgs and it's the one I only need. I use Costcos for eveything else inside the car and windows. They are indeed nice and soft but don't have that same absorbance

  • Is this big sucker worth it over a regular mini sucker cloth?
