i bought a new series x from this dude on gumtree for 800, who said he bought it on a telstra bundle, so i opened it and set it up and there was free game pass ultimate on it… it's been a month and it's still not cancelled so i've been cheesing this subscription the whole time lmao. just waiting for the day the subscription gets dropped (hopefully never)

It does say the gift card allows you to buy devices and accessories, but just want to check if it is controllers and headsets and not consoles.

EDIT: order placed 11:55am AEST after refreshing multiple times so there is still stock (or at least orders are still getting accepted) despite Chat and Call centre both saying it is OOS.
There's a chance if you mash that F5 key on configure, cart, and order pages that you'll get through.
MS also sell a range of keyboards if your F5 key can't take the pressure of the unstable website
OP: I just had a call from MS store saying their backend techs have just done another stock drop. I suspect they're spreading out the releases to get more buyers a chance to get one. Not sure if you or the Mods can tag somehow saying that it's going in and out of stock throughout the day?
So if I keep reloading the "This item is out of stock. Please remove or save for later." Eventually it'll let me checkout?

Yep. 30+ refreshes on that page, and it eventually worked. Note I was hitting the refresh button on the cart page, not the browser itself. Then I had to retry on the next place order page several times bit it did eventually process
I did over 200 refreshes to no avail..
I went into a JBHIFI today & they told me that it's easier to get PS5 right now than Xbox Series X
@Flareferno: MS call centre said it was out of stock. I got my order in online 4 minutes later. They called me back 20 minutes later again to say they had a stock drop and could sell me one. If you are keen, I'd suggest giving their sales line a call

Try it logged out. Mine failed constantly until I tried logged out. I also tried from shopback app browser session on mobile which I refreshed until it eventually let me buy.

Plausible. Also possible there are scalper bots so it's a deliberate site test retrying to check for bot timing patterns. Call the store number and their rep might sell you one by calling back when they do the next stock drop?

God damn why do M$ use DHL. It's been shipping for 11 days now!
i ordered mine on the 5th and got it by the 8th. It was shipped via DHL.
Mine was handed off to Road Runners who apparently tried to deliver on Thursday midday (when I was working from home) and allegedly left a card saying they missed me (they didn't)
DHL's tracking provided nothing so I called them, then called Road Runners and went and picked it up today.
I guess DHL isn't bad, it was RR's fault and god damn I'm angry about it.
Yeah the couriers do the lightest knock that no one can hear. Surely its better deliver then come back.
