EDIT: found it for $2499 at centre com after browsing every shop for laptops for an hour and its still $2799 everywhere else

    Was gonna say, its not a 'bad price' , its just that it would've been more attractive 6 months ago.
    With the 30xx series for the lapoopies , its not really worth it :(

    Is there that much of a performance difference between the 2070 and 3070? I read somewhere that there wasn't a big difference them.

    I've been looking at this laptop and the Asus Strix G17 for the past week. There was a deal on here a week ago with the Strix G17 at shopping express for $1949. It was on sale at Mwave, Scorptec and Centre com for $2199 but as of today, it has gone back up to $2699 at Scorptec and Centre com and $2599 at Mwave.

    I was just about to get a Strix G17 but not anymore. Maybe I'm better off waiting anyway? Can you suggest any laptops with a 3070 that I should be looking at instead? Ideally, I'm after a laptop with a 17inch screen. Would be nice to get a laptop with a Ryzen 4000 or 5000 series CPU and a 3070.

  Call me a little crazy, but there is a Razor Blade Pro 17 on ebay for $3399, essentially 50% off the original price. Seems like a bit of a bargain for such a high-end machine. It has a 4k 120hz touch display with a 2080 super and i7 10875H.
