  • Any deals on the S2721QS ?

    • +2

Not this time around, potentially next deal I post.

      • no stock :(

  • AW3821DW, any chance of more stock?

    • +1

There will be 400 units available in about 15 minutes.

  • Any chance for Inspiron 15 7506 deal in Jan again? Seems to be oos in eBay store at the moment, but can order via Dell website (no discount).
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/600258

Or give eBay 7501 listing a 16GB ram version at the same price level? Now only has 8GB ram not good enough.

If any XPS 15 killer deal will be welcome.

    • I am definitely looking into laptop deals for the future, I hear there is a global shortage in components, but that doesn't necessarily mean some limited qty deals won't come about.

  • +3

Thank you LiMaaa. Just wanted to say that all your deal posts are very much appreciated!

    • Thank you! <3

  • when does the deal go live and how many S2721DGF will be around?

    • Deal goes live in 4 minutes. 500 units as specified in OP.

      • +1

thank you :) i can see this selling out quickly

  • Looking for a G-Sync compatible 1440 monitor. Any recommendations here to go with the 3070?

    • +4

      S2721DGF

      • +1

thanks! i guess the DGF is the tell tale indicator!

    • +2

The S2721DGF is G Sync compatible, 1440p, 165Hz. I'm currently using one of those as my main and shifted my Acer Predator to secondary. About to buy a second one to replace the Acer altogether.

      • I just recently got a second S3220DGF, haven't set it up yet.
Could use a bit more real-estate or higher res for productivity, the dialogue boxes bit big on some stuff but guess can sit back bit further. Awesome otherwise, the blacks and refresh rate very good.

Can't see the S3220DGF in the deal, keen to lodge a price protection as I've seen the cheapest they get is about $599.

Btw any USB C models recommended for MacBook, a mate after something. Was going to buy my old 2x24 ultrasharps but not many cheap hubs/docs with dual display port outputs. Could try a HDMI-DVI-D cable I guess.
        Cheers

  • S2721DS says 0 available

    • +1

      Check again!

      • Bought one thank . Why does it say I will be getting stock early May? That is not 2 weeks.

        • +1

Default ETA, trust my deal ETA.

          • @LiMaaa: Why does it tell me:
Dell 27 Inch Gaming Monitor S2721DGF QHD QHD 2560 x 1440 AMD Limited Offering
            AU $497.50

This code can't be applied to your order.

I was hoping to get this plus a S2721Q , but neither allow me to apply the coupon.
It says "offer applied" already when I get to checkout and can't apply PDLT20 - What am I doing wrong ?

            • @PossiblyARobot: I'm honestly unsure, try logout of ebay and checkout as guest?

              • @LiMaaa: Thanks. Must be my account. My wife ended up making the orders.

              • @LiMaaa: Can these prices be replicated on Dell AU?

                • @GLO: No, they are ebay specific deals and not held to price match guarantee due to them being 'sales'.

  • +4

    Thanks OP, got the S2721DGF

  • +2

Just grabbed a S2721DGF! Thank you for the deals <3

  • +1

Thanks OP, got a DGF :)))

  • +1

Ordered S2721DGF during the Afterpay sale and arrived today!
    Can't believe there's round 2 in a week lol

    • mine just arrived today as well. i'm really surprised prices are hitting this low consistently, from what i've seen even sale prices are only hitting 400ish USD in america which is just insane in comparison. great monitor btw, i was skeptical on 1440p (especially with my garbage pc) but it makes my old u2414h look so bad in comparison lol..

  • +1

Good deal, just bought two 27" 1440p monitors. Awesome!

  • +1

Got a dgf, thank you op

  • +1

"You should get it by 7 May."

That's not as bad as I thought it would be.

Alternatively it does get delayed and we get free Alienware mice (nonono)

    • Can likely ignore that ETA. Looks over at Alienware mice, "Don't worry guys, you're safe… for now".

  • +1

Great timing, yesterday I chucked out (well, to e-waste recycling) two oldschool 2407s that had finally packed it in. Best monitors I've ever had
    Thanks LiMaaa!

    • Sometimes life just works out.

  • +1

    Thanks OP, got a S2721DS

  • Not limited to the monitors in this particular deal but what's the most solid monitor to dual wield with the S2721DGF?

    • +1

Depending on your needs, the S2721D is perfect as a secondary to the DGF.

      • +1

Ok will have a look. Thank you sir

  • +1

    Cheers OP!

Got a S2721DGF - hopefully, it'll be nice as a primary (and my older S2721DS as my secondary).

    • Perfect combo, I have the same.

  • Any 4K IPS 27/28" deals? Or even 4K IPS 32" but flat not curved?

  • +1

Great prices. Thanks for these deals OP.

  • Paid $470 for a 2721DGF a couple of weeks ago in the previous deal. Arrrgh.

  • +2

Thanks, I was going to get a 34" Ultrawide to replace an old 28" 4k Samsung, but went with the S2721Q instead… $289 is an amazing price for an IPS 4k monitor!

Fortunately I've got both a VESA-mount monitor stand, and a spare Dell height adjustable stand, so I can use one of them to have a decent stand on the Q.

  • How many monitor deals does dell have jesus christ..

  • How does the S2721DGF compare to the AOC Q27G2S?

AOC seems to be G-Sync and 155hz.

    https://www.skycomp.com.au/aoc-q27g2s-27-155hz-wqhd-1ms-g-sy…

    • That AOC is a G-Sync Compatible Gaming Monitor it does not have a G-Sync hardware module.

  • +1

Thanks OP, got the S2721DGF even though I don't need it…

  • Is there a 27 inch curved monitor?

  • Did I miss out? I get "This code can't be applied to your order." when trying to checkout a S2721DGF :(

    • +1

still works for me code is PDLT20

      • :(

Is this the right place to put the coupon code?

        • +1

That's the right place. There should even be a tick box in that spot to just apply the coupon without having to type it. Do you already have a coupon applied or something?

          • +1

@storms79: Nope, no vouchers or gift cards or anything like that… Just have my normal paypal account selected as the payment method.
I haven't bought any Dell products in over a year either, so I haven't hit the limit or anything…
I think Dell just hate me :(

@jbit: Weird.. it should look like this, I've just replicated it again: https://imgur.com/sdH8Nr2

            • +1

@jbit: I believe you've already resolved this, but for anyone else facing the issue.

Make sure you are using an Australian ebay account, or accessing ebay via .com.au not .co.uk ect.
If you're still facing issues, sign out of ebay and checkout as guest. Hopefully this helps out some of you.

    • +1

If you're getting that error it means you have an issue with your account. You can either checkout as a guest and use the coupon or contact live chat to get them to fix it. That issue usually stems from the account being opened on eBay.com a while ago.

      • +1

Thank you! This was the problem! I registered my eBay account on ebay.co.uk a million years ago, but I've used it with my Australian address/cards/etc for ages. I contacted eBay support and they switched it over to a proper Aussie account :D

Funny that I've never had a problem with other eBay vouchers, but the T&Cs for this one do say:

You must be an eBay.com.au registered member with an active account at the time of redemption (not suspended nor made inactive by eBay).

    • +1

It won't accept the code if you're got Pay After Delivery active (this could be default for your PayPal account), try a different payment method and should be able to enter the code.
This happened to me, and I changed to Afterpay and it worked fine.

  • +1

    Thanks, OP.
Got an S2721Q as S2721DGF is over $300:)

  • +1

Great price. Great deal. If you need a great gaming monitor, you can't get better value.

  • +1

Does the Alienware 27 AW2721D have free sync or is it just Gsync? The marketing is hard to understand some reviews say free sync support others don’t mention, dell doesn’t mention it. Would love to know if anyone can shed some light on it for me.

    • +1

      Adaptive-Sync Technology: NVIDIA G-Sync Ultimate

It's native g-sync support and also free sync is supported. Rtings.com has some very reliable hardware testing they do and have confirmed it here

  • S3221QS $388.80

price keeps coming down, the more it hurts when i got it for $570 thought was bargain, that's close to $200 savings WTH

    • +1

My condolences, I feel your pain.

Buy another and then you have only paid $100 too much for them 😀

  • Xiaomi 34 vs S3221QS for 75% work (spreadsheets) and 25% gaming (fps)

Please see here for a potential fix.

      • +1

Thanks ! That seems to be exactly the issue.
My account is still broken (only for Dell) but my wife's account is fine.

  • +3

Scored a 2721DGF, incredible price for this arguably the best 2k 165hz monitor.

Now waiting for a deal on a decent 25 inch 2k everyday monitor for word processing..

    • Why a 25"? You have the current option of the S2721D (2k @ 75hz) which is perfect for your requirements and would pair really well with the S2721DGF?

      • +1

Ah that is due to my limited desk space…sry

  • +2

Wow, S2721DGF is a steal. Great monitor for a decent price.

  • Any chance I can get a decent deal of S3220DGF, or I have to wait till maybe EOFY sale?
The last sale was in last November and was $597 with shipping, link as below:
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/585359
I know this one is a VA panel, will you also have any plans to offer a deal for some other similar monitors of a 30"+ with an IPS panel?

    • Potentially on future deals, yes.

  • +1

What would be a good monitor for productivity eg email, word processing spreadsheets multiple browers windows open etc

    • +3

      S2721D

      • Thanks @LiMaaa. Is the stand height and tilt adjustable?

        • DS has far more adjustment options, D has tilt / swivel.

  • chance for the 360hz alienware?

    • Not on this deal, sorry. Perhaps on future deals!

  • +1

    Bought one, cheers LiMaaa.

$398 is now the OFFICIAL lowest price of the S2721DGF (post the afterpay deal)

  • +2

    Thank you op.
After juggling between S2721D and dgf I finally pulled the trigger on S2721D for my child.
And I also bought S2721Q for my missus this morning.
    Oh well nothing for me.

    • You get their love and praise… And my gratitude for being selfless. :3

  • I'd love to buy a MDS19 to mount my monitors too.

  • +1

    Thanks LiMaaa. Purchased a 2nd S2721DGF!

    • what you do with a second 27" gaming monitor?

      • Spreadsheets mostly. I just wanted my 2nd monitor to match.

  • Would the S2721DGF be a good choice to use for a ps5? Want to take advantage of HDR and low input lag which this seems to have according to reviews. Just not sure if it would be a smart choice for console gaming?

    • +1

      No, because:

      • The monitor resolution is 2K native and Sony PS5 doesn't support 2K (only 4K or 1080p). Sony has no incentive to support 2K since they don't sell any TV with 2K resolution.
      • This monitor doesn't offer 4K/60Hz hardware based scaling to display on 2K resolution (kind of like what Series X and XBox One does). There are some monitors which do that.
      • While it does a reasonable job at 1080p, it still won't be as crisp as a native 1080p screen.
      • It is still HDR400, not proper HDR.
      • This monitor has a known issue at 60Hz (look at second last row of the pixels - they look dimmer).
        https://i.rtings.com/assets/pages/ruIukAeq/dim-pixel-row-pix…

Technically, Dell could address those issues with a firmware update. However, given that it is not the premium range, I doubt Dell would spend much time on it. They just lower the price so that people would cave in and buy.

      • Appreciate the input. I did a bit more digging and came to a similar conclusion. Shame about Sony not willing to support 2k which would have been the sweet spot for me. I think the best choice is to hold out for a few more more months to see what comes out on the HDMI 2.1 front and wait for a deal. Cheers for the detailed reply.
