        • Thats what i meant lol … lowest its been for a while since the crypto markets picked up in jan/feb

What options does it give you

Edit: Just had a look and it allows you to use your cro wallet. Will detect automatically the value of cro and you have to confirm to stake the cro

          • @easternculture: Thanks for checking! I was about to buy some CRO when it was sitting around 18 cents last night. Woke up and it was up to 22 cents, doh!

  • I've looked at NFT and just started mining ETH and am confused about this stuff.

So crypto.com is a crypto exchange, and wallet
It has an imaginary token CRO which you accrue. I couldn't find out where CRO comes from, is it mined, is there a limit, is it like online game money they can infinitely create?

So they have a card that lets you use visa and pay from your crypto in your wallet(?)
But for some reason you still have to deposit AUD into it, which converts to SGD. Why do you need cash if you have crypto to spend?

They want you to stake coins for rewards. Why? Is it just swapping volatile huge gains with stable long smaller gains? Are they just betting it'll go up more? I don't get it. What do they get from it?

I have a metamask wallet from loking at nft.
Do I want any of this stuff? Maybe the visa to spend mined ETH? I don't get the rest.

  • Was anyone able to pay for Spotify using their Crypto card? Spotify does not seem to let me for some reason.

    • Had to do it through paypal but note to turn off paypals conversion

      • Manage to pay for it with Spotify Singapore.

        • I need to get ready for this, so I sign up for Individual plan here?

          • +1
            • @nightelves: Awesome cheers and in regards to Netflix do I need to change my address to US which is what this article suggests or do I just change the payment to the Crypto.com card and all should good?

              • @bobwokeup: Nope as soon as it detects Netflix the system will credit you the money equivalent to 12.99USD.

                • @nightelves: Sweet thanks heaps for your help, now I just have to wait for my Card to arrive. I decided to upgrade from Ruby Steel before receiving it to the Royal Indigo and now there’s an issue upgrading cards, with no timeframe but it’s temporary.

                  • @bobwokeup: I've never tried Netflix but will definitely try it and report back. I know Spotify works because the card is in Singapore currency. Just bear in mind that the cashback comes in the form of crypto. You'll need to convert it to fiat to see the actual cashback

                    • @nightelves: That would be great thanks.

That’s about the only part I knew haha the app is so easy to use I’d figure that part out anyway ;)

                      • @bobwokeup: Best if you have vpn and sign up Netflix in Philippines which would mean the cost would be free for premium.

                        • @nightelves: Hopefully it doesn’t come to that as I’ve only got a free VPN which I rarely use.

I also checked with support and they said they’ve had no issues with customers just updating the payment info to the Crypto Debit card.

  • With the price drop, do people who picked up this deal when posted now need to by more to get their stake back to $500?

  • It's been reported that the Australian version of the Crypto.com Visa card will be available as a virtual card by the end of this month (October 2021) with the physical cards being issued in November.

This will make things MUCH easier as there'll be no messing around with SGD conversions after that.

    • Sounds good , can’t wait

    • Where did you hear that? I asked support and they couldn’t tell me anything but to keep on eye on their socials. That’s full of F1 and other sports which I love but near impossible to get an actual update on the Australian Visa card.

      • In response to other queries, some users have received a letter from CdC that states:

"…we will be issuing you a new Crypto.com Visa Card. A virtual card will be issued by the end of October. You can expect to receive a physical new card in mid-November when we will begin issuing cards locally in Australia. Providing you with a locally-issued card will reduce the administrative process for you and also the delivery time."

        • Ah okay cheers, so only for users who have a card I guess?

    • I still haven't had my card requested August 18th issued. Maybe theyre waiting for this?? (fingers crossed)

      • Who knows hey. No one at their customer support can answer it and they keep giving you the same excuses when you ask how much longer.

        • I have chatted at least 7 times in that period, and correct they cannot help

          • @isthisreallife22: Yep same here, it’s frustrating that they can’t tell you anything.

            • @bobwokeup: It looks like they were waiting for this! Got my email this afternoon

              • @isthisreallife22: Yeah same here, I think it was an issue with the card supplier. Either way it would’ve been good to know exactly what is happening and be honest with us.

  • Hi all,
I am a little confused by this so I am hoping for some clarification.
If you had a Royal Indigo & Jade Green at a stake of $4000, but then you drop below, what happens? Do you move down to the Ruby Steel class? My understanding is that this is a physical card but I guess there is a "membership level" or something underpinning it?
The stake has a minimum period, so if I joined up on 1 Jan 2022 and staked $4000, does this mean I only start to get the free Spotify/Netflix from 1 July 2022 or is it available immediately?
    Thanks for any assistance.

    • The best option out of all your questions. You keep the membership Level you stake at. Doesn't matter if it goes to $1, until you unstake or stake more that's your membership. The second part you can 'claim' immediately after you have the card

      • Thank you!
