Note that this is the Snapdragon Version, so it is superior to base S21 AU Version in many ways! Bigger screen, battery, camera etc…
I immediately got one for my mum because $599? Sure why not. Hopefully she doesn't mind late Mother Day's present.

    Ordered two phones at 4pm yesterday and my order is sitting at processing and looks buggy (cant see both lines of the order) in my order history.

    I also never received a confirmation email.

    They did take my money though.

    Anyone else having this issue?

      It's fine. It's also Samsung, so it's fine. There might be delayed due to the sale volumes. If all fails, you will get your money back because it's Samsung :)

      When you say "sitting at processing" do you mean waiting for approval as mine says that since yesterday morning.

        This is what mine is saying. I phoned them today and they're looking in to it. It says it's waiting for my payment to clear but from my end there isn't a problem with funding as I have the available funds so I think it's a glitch their end.

              @TheGoToStore: Just called they said that my order was stuck there due to a sytem glitch and escalated it to their management team. Could take 3-5 business days for a response. :-(

              Maybe call and see if same issue with your order.

    Bummer, with the risk of the $150 being invalid based on the deal being marked as expired last night, I ordered before I received the $50. Sure as hell, 1:34am I get the $50 code… wonder if I can have it applied to the order.

            @rs99: Went through live chat but it was already too late to cancel so they told me to decline the delivery once it does arrive tomorrow then call their online orders team to initiate the return and refund.

    Hi what's the best method of transferring data from old galaxy (S8) to S20? Is it Smart Switch? I don't want to transfer everything and clog up the new phone either. Just contacts, videos, images, accounts etc. Apps I can re-download

      Smart Switch is so convenient and quick. Settings, accounts and even (some) Passwords carry across. I would go Smart Switch and then delete the Apps you don't need on the S20.

      BTW, the S20 should have more memory than the S8 (mine did), so it should clog up the S20

      Smart Switch through Wifi. You can choose what to transfer. I did it recently for S7 to S21.

    Received it this arvo. Initially was a bit hesitant ordering the red one after navy went oos but glad it worked out that way. It's definitely faster.

    just received mine earlier today and there's definitely something wrong with the touchscreen, even using swipe input on default keyboard is dropping words in between!!!! :(
    battery doesn't seem impressive from the initial look, it was dropping at the same rate as my galaxy s8. s20 fe running without the sim card and no apps installed!

      Dang sorry to hear. Should be able to get it replaced without too much hassle hopefully. The only issue I've encountered thus far is the screen brightness going crazy when watching HDR content. Maxing screen brightness seems to have fixed that. Other than that no complaints thus far.

        can you try typing long words with swipe typing as well? Just trying to work out if the issue is with my phone only.. also did you take off the screen protector that the phone came with?

          You want the Touch Screen Test app. It will tell you if there's a problem.

            @wombat81: I'll give it a try, any specific one you recommend? typing is the big one I don't game on my phone so dont care a lot about multi touch but swipe typing is a must :(

              @relentlessM8: Literally the one called Touch Screen Test from memory. Make sure you phone is fully updated too, as Samsung released a number of fixes for the touch screen issues. Sadly it didn't fix the problem on all devices.

              Even if you don't game, pinch to zoom was one of the big issues with this device and especially in certain apps. I think Instagram was a big one. So be sure to test that.

          Well the longest words that I know of are prolly extravagant and pretentious. No issues that I can notice on mine.

                @dins: yeah, I did. it still drops words while swipe typing. If I type slow then its fine, but it just doesnt like the speed I am used to typing on the S8.

              Start by opening Upper Bar and tap on the Power icon.
              After that tap on the Power off icon twice. You need to enter passcode if you have.
              Then wait for about 5 seconds.
              At the end switch on the smartphone by using the Power key.

              Hard Reset SAMSUNG Galaxy S20 FE

              Navigate: Settings Settings icon > General management > Reset.
              Tap Factory data reset.
              Review the info then tap Reset.
              Note If presented, enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
              Tap Delete all.
              Note Allow several minutes for the factory data reset and reboot processes to complete.
              Note If applicable, set up your device.

                    @berserkk: Naa, still have the issue.. Wasted hours on online and phone support with samsung but no resolution yet. I've asked them to replace my phone since its a manufacturing fault right out of the box. sent them logs and recording of issue on samsung members app too and waiting for response. Do let me know if yours gets resolved..

                              @berserkk: When they were diagnosing it remotely they tried pinning it on the keyboard app so I reset the phone and their default keyboard did the same. I checked in the touch screen test app that its not keyboard or any app related but I think its firmware level issue because even if I swipe quickly in touch screen test app it ends the current touch and starts a new touch without lifting the finger.

                                  @berserkk: Naa, they were quite useless, they referred me to after sale department who then referred me to other departments. Their customer support has been quite the opposite of what I expected. I'm a long time samsung user but next time will definitely look elsewhere.

                                  @berserkk: They asked me to drop the device at service station for inspection/ repair I said no to that, since its manufacturing fault on the first day of a brand new phone I'm asking them to replace it. Why am I supposed to drive to their service station and wait more days possibly get a repair on a brand new phone!! Honestly ridiculous!!

    This likely does not apply to most of you but its is important….

    S20FE does not have moment case. We have invested in a set of moment gear and most important the Anamorphic Lens. While they already listed the S21 for pre order, S20FE is a sure no no from internet forum. Guess that help me to make the call.
