why is their RRP higher than Apple's $1499…

Standard 10% offer is cheaper than this at $1349

    • good spotting

A bit unethical of CA to advertise 15% off a price higher than RRP. Why not be honest and advertise 10% off RRP?
Cheaper at Apple Edu store $1349 less SB/CR 1.5% cashback, free delivery and 14 days change of mind return: https://www.apple.com/au-hed/shop/buy-mac/macbook-air

Quite typical of them really, they have previously acted in a similar way during eBay sales.

    • That’s because RRP is just a recommended retail price and principle brands cannot dictate how much they should be sold for otherwise it is deemed as price fixing. The RRP is there to educate the general public and the market. Stores can sell at any price they want but they are somewhat limited by game theory and how gung ho they want to be which what CA appears to be doing here.

      It’s stupid.

Just called Officeworks head office. Won’t price match as had to use a coupon.

    sad pikachu

    • True, you can’t pricematch at OW if a coupon code is involved. Description needs to be updated to remove that comment.

      • oh well, officeworks took off like $10 or so in their deal
