      Fineprint on Bunnings is terribe though. If you're buying a $50 gift card, make sure you spend at least $40.05 in your transaction!

      Still sleepy, $55 is fine. The 10% standard cashback is cashback, not a discount. As long as $50 is paid you are all good.

          i think, technically you are still paying $50 with money. the cash back is your money.
          different with for example you use some code and get $2 discount, so you are paying $48 not $50 - this is no no

          As long as the value of the gift card is $50+ you'll be fine, the cashback isn't taken into consideration for these bonuses.

        I’ve gotten the same. I bought $50 in gift cards and only $40 worth registered so it sat at $10 to go when there were plenty left to be claimed. Now it’s saying “all rewards have been claimed before you finished” which is false. I bought all at the exact same time when they were all claimed. So annoyed as I only purchased because of the cashback.

            @streetsmart: I did and I’m told I didn’t complete in time even though the deal was still open and OP was replying on the tread hours after I made the purchase. I don’t know why $10 voucher didn’t register when the others did, but they’re going by when they register it, not when you actually purchased it.

    I won’t be participating in one of these again, it’s a complete scam. I only purchased the gift cards because of the cashback. $40 out of the $50 worth of cards I purchased registered right away showing “$10 to go” even thought all $50 worth tracked. The deal was still open for hours after I purchased not saying all had been claimed. And yet I’m told I didn’t complete in time to qualify for the cashback. What a scam! Never again!

      My comment still stands true. Claims that the promotion indicated that the Max redemptions had exceeded when it didn’t at the time and AFTER purchase was made. A scam to get people to buy thinking they are in the Max 2000 when they’re not. As I said, never again. I hate scam my companies that do this kind of tactic.
