    I brought one pair to try they were great. So I order a few more pairs, but now while I think they are ok. I don't think they are worth the price. A bit overrated.

        from memory 250ish, I bought the bulk pair of 15 and had another batch of 5-7 I bought.

        they dont last forever but there is nothing on the market comparable.

          @Lukian a few pairs of underwear makes barely an impact on a load of washing, you would end up doing the same amount of loads anyway, just spending more time washing in one day Vs splitting it. Makes zero difference to my water and energy…Vs $30 a pair for 3 times as many pairs of underwear. Do you need to hand in your ozbargain card?

            @UndeclaredFreak: Regarding "more time", one would just be deferring time compared to washing weekly. The washing machine cycle only needs to run once a fortnight, saving ~40-80 Litres of water, 0.5-2kwh electricity and reducing wear to the washing machine.

              @Lukian: I said “more time in one day” not more time overall. Just meaning for me, I have average 2 loads per week. If I split it and do a load mid week, then on the weekend it’s better for me than feeling like I’m spending half a day washing when doing it one day a week. For me if I split two loads over a week it makes zero difference water and electricity wise. Whereas if I were to buy 20 pairs of $30 underwear, I would be spending a lot more money. For me financially it’s better to have less, so I’ll keep my ozbargain cars. I can see how for others it could be beneficial having more, but 20 still seems excessive (to me).

    They constantly ride up and don’t feel that good. Nautica Performance, 2xist, Aussiebum, Spyder, Micheal Kors is better. There are so many great brands of underwear and they are constantly different. Micro modal for the most part feels better than bamboo but are usually quite expensive.

        by connecting it to gillette, do you mean they started doing some of those virtue signalling ads? or just the ads that make these products seem like one of those shady products from infomercials?

        either way, there are so many choices these days and people generally don't like being told that they are the problem or how to live their lives by multinational conglomerates like procter and gamble, we are not so starved of choice that we can't afford to drop a brand or two (or 100) if it starts trying to virtue signal rather than focusing on selling products.

        personally, i don't want brands i like to start spouting political opinions, i don't need a bunch of millionaires to start telling me what to think, especially when they probably don't even believe in what they are saying in the first place. i try to avoid politics in life because it never ends well, if a brand i like starts forcing politics down my throat then i will avoid them in the future.

    Definitely my go to underwear now. Haven't had any issues with 6 months of use out of a few of the pairs i have.

    I wish 2xu were making boxers now. They tried doing cycling bibs and underwear quickly but stopped making them a couple of years ago. But their fabrics are oh so nice (I bought a couple of their t-shirts, shorts and triatholon jerceys). Haven't tried anything better yet.

    To reiterate an earlier comment - I picked up the K-Mart bamboo trunks for $8 today, and think they’re pretty much on par with the Step Ones (of which I own one pair). Think this will be the go for me from now on.

      I also did the Kmart thing to compare with the Step One purchase. They don't seem to have as good a build-quality, and they don't quite feel as nice, but very similar. I would buy a bulk of Step Ones if the price was better or on sale… Don't think their regular price is worth more than double the Kmart price.
