            Balance is the gift card amounts applied to your Amazon account which have not been used for purchases.

    Such credit will not only have a short expiry date also if you use it you will not get cashback. Getting such credit in ur account like a pain in ur ass, you need to spend it on some meaningless items before you can get cashback again

      Can't say I have ever managed to get any Cashback from Amazon……….but I tend to buy Electronics, Computer stuff etc so always 0% on those. Eitherway, Paying by giftcard I don't believe prevents Cashback (or at least on Ebay it doesn't)…..must check Cashback conditions for Amazon.

    Wonder what eligible items means? ALSO, does this mean for items held at Amazon warehouse and shipped directly from them i.e. cannot be used for items sold by sellers that ship direct?

        I joined PRIME this morning and the promo code was successfully applied on my first try. Got distracted and it doesn't work for me anymore after I come back to check out. (remove and add a new gift card)

    On desktop I’ve bought one already but if I put another $100 in my cart there is a message saying it qualifies for a bonus $5 even before I put in a code
