You don't need to wait for the pop up message to get $50 code. I searched on google and was taken to this link where I signed up and got the code

I havent received the code yet. When you signup, you get a message that if you dont receive code in 48 hours, send an email to samsung at this email address. I have done that. But i am sure this promotion hasnt expired as I got a popup message again yesterday when i signed in to samsung online store.
