I bought the Essential Backpack 15 ES1520P last year for about $10. Definitely it's worth way more than $10 that I paid. I hope that helps.
Same, it's been a totally fine backpack, especially for that price. I had a macpac previously, which was/is nice, but was a tight fit on a fullsize 15" laptop.
I'm probably going to buy the venture too, only because I think it looks cooler.

Out of curiosity where did you find this deal? I just bought the g15 for $899 and know this is a completely different computer?
The g15 for 899 is a way better buy. This just offers slightly higher spec for nearly double the price. If your only gaming the difference in performance is no where near worth paying.
Ngl it's weird that a computer hardware company is making such great backpacks, but I'll take it.
Dell have always had great laptop bags. The weird/great part is that there under $30.
already sold out but the zippers on this cheap backpack are trash and have all broken after a few months

I found the whole backpack pretty crap. Just didn't even end up using more than twice. Awkward layout, etc. It's sitting here unused pretty much.
I don't think a 4gb VRAM 3050ti represents particularly good value for a ~$1750 gaming laptop.
The g15 chassis with 3060 can be had for around the same price using 20% off.

Bought Essential 15 last time. Slightly bigger for my M1 MBP but I really like it. Can't go wrong at this price.

Bought the Essential backpack in January, started using it on a daily basis in February. One of the zippers broke after 2 weeks and the front zipper broke a couple weeks later.
Do you mean broke as in the zipper track stuffed up or the zipper tags snapped in half (or they weren't held securely and detach when you pull on them)?

At the time of ordering, estimated delivery was between 2-9 Aug.
But apparently it's on its way today. However the courier doesn't offer convenient times and can't/won't leave it at the post office.
Thanks legend got a Dell Energy for me and my partner. The premium Dell bags are well built, still tend to go through 1 each year. Cracking price.
Yikes and to think my backpack lasts atleast 8 years
Gets travel each day, regional and a flights every couple of weeks (COVID permitting). The DELL ones have held up better than other cheaper options. Hopefully get a couple of years out of these.

Lol just ordered the Energy but it said August delivery. Going to cancel and just get the $40 equivalent from Amazon.
I got 2 Essential bags now. Although can’t complain they are good but from pictures it looks like they are hard case from the front which attracted me each time. However, they are not.
IMO avoid the essential 15, got one last time and didn't use it because of the zip placement.
G7 17 are also going for very good prices, very tempting to grab a 2070 or 2060 based one
but I already have a 17 inch with 1660ti and good screen, and I think performance improvement will be marginal, while I will have to sell old one and set up new one, major rigmarole

I already had the essential backpack from the last deal and it's spectacular for the price but I like the look of the venture.
