For the soy lovers and the lactose intolerant (like me) that love their milk in the coffee a little frothy.
I find that Bonsoy hits the sweet spot between creaminess, texture and taste. I've converted some people over when they were allowed over for a social in NSW!
Not the cheapest it's been but have been hanging for a good homemade flat white as I've run out of Bonsoy.

I've heard some good things about its competitor HHSB so going to give this a go as well (can get this cheaper in bulk from specialist grocery stores if you live nearby for pickup as most charge shipping if under a certain amount)

      Nah Aldi is usually like $4.50-$4.80 if I remember correctly. Definitely has a 4 in front and not a 3.

      S&S is subscribe and save. So you can opt to get auto deliveries and you get a discount.

        Aldi is $3.99 as their normal RRP price. I usually buy Bonsoy from Aldi when Woolies and Coles are not on sale.

    check out ipantry - buy Bonsoy in 6x1L boxes to save $$$. Also google for their coupon and referral codes for an easy 10-15% off. This way I can usually get Bonsoy for about $3.30/L

      Yeah. You can subscribe and save and order 6 for $21.06 with Amazon and free shipping with prime. Dont know why anyone would order the 6 pack with Amazon for $22.68 which you are comparing with costco.

        "Soya bean milk" wouldn't have the additives that prevent it from curdling when the coffee's acidity hits. Also, tastes pretty raw and that's not to everyone's taste, especially in coffee.

          Well I think that's the issue.

          When you look at the ingredients for these western soy milk or almond milk products you realise there's actually very little beans/almonds in there and it's all additives and crap. I mean have you looked at almond milk and seen ingredients like vegetable oil in there?

          Asian soy milk is the genuine stuff, it's basically soy beans and water then sugar to taste. That's it. It's not meant to replace milk or be a milk substitute, I think the western version of calling it "soy milk" throws off Asians who have tried it because they're wondering wtf is this putrid rubbish.

            I was referring to the "Asian" soy drinks that are available in supermarkets in refrigerators, along Bonsoy, Soy boy (both Asian too) and other brands in cartons. The first tastes raw to me, but has not as many extra ingredients, true.

      While I agree that you are correct, this is a juice and not a milk. Technically.

      Fom the consumption of it, it most closely resembles "milk". Not sure what you'd call vegan meat then. A salad?

      Also, why do we call milk: "milk". Because technically that's wrong. Because milk is what human babies drink from their mothers. What everyone else has is "cow's milk". Technically.

      Was sharing this deal with a friend yesterday, and he had this setup on the S&S, and he said it wasn't going to be the reduced price. He cancelled his subscription, and started it again to claim this better price.
      Just one person's experience that I can't really verify 100%, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to can it and start over to be sure.

    A few cafes have changed from Bonsoy to Soy Boy, can't tell the different taste-wise. Unless it is due cost, there must be a reason, my guess if that Soy Boy is easier to froth. May try it out.

      I think if you’re tossing up between Bonsoy and HHSB, just buy the one that’s cheaper at the time.

      My personal favourite is HHSB, after being a Bonsoy drinker for a long time. I still buy Bonsoy if it’s on sale though.

      Bonsoy curdling too much, I know it's to do with the acidity of coffee, I switched to almond to avoid the problem.

      Amazon price matches WW/Coles for the sale week generally at $3.8 or $3.9 and once at $3.35.
      Their standard S&S price is $4.32 (based on RRP $4.9)
