Yes, its odd - it's a US based site. ;-) Amazon won't post to Oz, same as with a LOT of stuff - you'll have to go Ebay.
Umm thats a hard call - but the vast majority would say the Maha Powerex - the BC1000 has a case and 8 batteries bundled in - so from a value front that might help.
3yr warranty on the Maha vs 12mths from La Crosse is a big deal IMHO.
Ebay is the cheapest - there's really no other options, except the Accupower IQ328 I posted about later in the thread. Thats just a lil behind both of these but a fair bit cheaper.

FWIW as I know there's a LOT of folks looking for a decent charger but at an Ozbargain kinda price. Ok - this is hard to get as well chargers are either crap or good - those are highly technical terms. ;-)
IMHO the best value charger on the market is the Accupower IQ328. Its possibly based on La Crosse's technology but has a 2yr warranty. At $43 delivered its the best value I can see for a FULL featured charger. Either way it does everything the LaCrosse's do but at lower price and with double warranty.

Thats very limited info on the Aldi ccharger but I'd say its a no - only has 2 indicator light so can't have independant charging for each battery. Almost certainly 'dumb' so just pumps power in regardless and also prolly doesn't charge at Eneloop's preferred 1000mA rate. :-)
