[Afterpay] Gigabyte RTX3070Ti 8GB Gaming OC Video Card GV-N307TGAMING-OC-8GD $1444.15 Delivered @ Computer Alliance eBay

Original Coupon Deal

Decent price for a 3070 Ti if you are happy to use afterpay. Hold off if you can really, but if you are looking to buy now at this price point, especially for one of the better 3070 ti cards, then there are a few available. Unfortunately, the current price of crypto rising, along with people working out way to mine more efficiently with these LHR cards has the price a bit volatile at the moment.

There is also 1 MSI RTX3070TI 8GB Ventus 3X OC PCIe Video Card available at this price at the time of posting.

Are these close to 3080 performance - 3080s were at this price at launch.

    • Maybe 15% drop in frames when playing 2k resolution games.

    • +3

Nope it's basically a 3070 that uses a lot more power (+35% higher power consumption for +5% more performance)

      • +3

its much better for mining raven vs 3070 lhr

    • No they were 1230 delivered from ple

    • Its a 3070 with GDDR6X memory but LHR so no good for Ethereum.

    • +12

nothing personal but I wonder how much this guy has been paid writing this….

      • its from jensen's own mouth. He isn't real, he is a bot.

      • +2

Yeah thinking the same. Don't give in to FOMO

      • Hardware Unboxed pretty much said that LHR shipments have been surprisingly rare, they're still mostly getting non-LHR.

        • of course, miners money is the same money

  • +7

    Outrageous

    • +3

And this is a neg why?

    • +4

Where is this mythical RTX 3080 for $1599 ?
      https://www.ple.com.au/Categories/467/Graphics-Cards/Nvidia-…

      • +3

Exactly. Not seeing anything there champ
Edit: Unless he's talking about the Zotac. In which case, pass

        • +2

Yeah, and even that is $1699.

      • +2

they paid and got their money stuck at ple since the start of the year lol

  • What's the RRP for these cards?

Hoping they eventually get back there

    • +2

The RRP for the manufacturer 3070 ti was $959- this scales to about $1100ish for low end AIB if we go by 3070 and 3080 release pricing. I remember some 3070s going for $900-950 when the rrp was $809 for the founders edition.

    • +11

According to Kotaku, the MSRP was $959 but that's also just MSRP for the Founders Edition of the card, while board partners have their own MSRP's. It's not uncommon for a top-end Gigabyte or ASUS model to be 20% more expensive than the so called "reference" and founders edition of the cards.

Founder's edition cards are also pretty much non-existent in Australia, I think there might have been a grand total of 100 FE cards that were sold by a single retailer (Mwave) through a raffle.

Keep in mind: the production cost of GPU's and computers have steadily risen over the last few months — metals like copper, aluminium, and rare metals such as gold, increase product cost of plastics and substrate / silicon wafers all means that whatever MSRP was announced by Nvidia might as well be bedtime fairy tales you tell to your grandkids.

On 11 June 2021, the day after launch, there was a $1559 Gigabyte RTX 3070 Ti Gaming OC. Take that as the market price. So today, with this deal, you are getting a deal in comparison to initial pricing.

  • Thanks… been waiting a while and decided it was time to pull the trigger. Nice little upgrade on my 1070..

  • +4

if u missed the 3060 deal, its going for $791+ delivery

Dang… prices need to drop a lot more still before i'll bite.

  • +1

Legend, you just cost me 40$ more to get a 3070ti instead of the 3060ti I ordered 🤩🤩 afterpay too, I'm in love.

    • +2

      you paid 1400 for a 3060ti??

      • Past tense. Now I've paid this price for this.
I'm not sitting around waiting until 2023 for the price to go down.

  • +3

I would like to get a 3080 or 6800xt at this price.

Fingers crossed for continued price reductions. It's happening.. There's gpus at retailers so the supply / demand equation is improving.

  • +2

    But, will it mine!

  • Happy that I picked my 3070 card from Centrecom at retail price last Christmas and cancelled my order from PLE.

    • Good for you, bad for anybody else who wasn't that lucky… hmpfff…

  • Really not a deal. We had a 3070 ti couple days ago which was 100$ cheaper.

  • What's a good price for 3090 in current climate?

      • 3200 AUD

        • i dont think there is any lower for a well known brand? unless ur going down ebay route

PLE has cheap on their website but its unobtainable.

          • @MaxHashrate: Is $3050 for Gigabyte RTX3090 24GB Vision OC acceptable then?

            • @archieduh: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/52264/gigabyte-geforce-r…

              "Cheap and Nasty thermal pads
Review by Tyrone on 17 Apr 2021review stating Cheap and Nasty thermal padsExtremely disappointed with this product. Poor thermals and even poorer quality thermal pads used in a high end card. Better off spend a few dollars more to get something that actually is made of high quality materials and parts."

If you can change the pads then yeah acceptable in the sense it is cheaper than other 3090 in the market

              • @MaxHashrate: Thanks for sharing.

                • @archieduh: where are u finding that for $3050? Some people like the white colour and are willing to pay more for the look.

                  • @MaxHashrate: Ebay stock with afterpay and gift cards in my head puts it around 3050
1400 gift cards for like 1350
And 2000 by afterpay for like 1700
Makes the 3400 computeralliance has it for

  • yeah nah 3070 tiny improvement

  • +1

considering 3060ti have been popping up for ~$850 recently, i dont think the marginal increase in performance in the 3070ti is worth the extra 600 bucks.

    • I went from a 3060 Ti to a 3070 Ti. The performance increase is not "marginal" especially at 4K. Techpowerup aggregate comparison suggests 25% faster than 3060 Ti overall.

3060Ti is a good deal at $850, don't get me wrong, but there are use cases for spending the extra. Sold my 3060 Ti (bought for $750 late last year) to a miner for $1200 and bought the eVGA FTW3 3070Ti for $1399 (when that was on sale a couple of months ago).

      • -1

the fact you had to try and justify your upgrade by telling us all the good deals you got just proves my point

its not worth the extra 600

        • +6

I didn't have to try and justify anything.

If you want to game at 4K better than ~50fps, you need the additional power of a 3070 or 3070ti. regardless whether it costs $100 more, or $500 more.

  • +10

I'm posting here from year 2030, guys it is ridiculous to watch how desperate you are 9 years back in time. Sitting playing games on RTX6090TI. All miners around the globe are arested and subjected to certain procedures. World is free from crypto plague.

    • Hey, future person, How high did Butcoin go before the crash ?

    • +1

Shush Michael… The RTX 9090TI (Super) was released in 2028 and the latest article from Tom's Hardware just headlined an article citing that when I die how much of it do I want raytraced… Get with the times!!!

  • Whats a better card?

    This or a 2080ti?
