  • Why do you put the samsung TV photo

    😂😂

    • I just put in the JB hi fi website, dont know why the TV pic showed up there
Update: Now its showing phones, had to ref phones

  • This is confusing. Are the prices on the website the 'ticketed" prices or not?

    • yup, they are. You get discount on top of what the price is

  • Bought the Find X2 Pro 512GB on the weekend with 15% off AfterPay promotion for $637, less than half of what it was when launched.

It is $999 on JB's website so still $800 after 20% discount… maybe a deal for someone but not for me.

    • JB only has the X2 Pro Telstra version.
So does this mean it is Telstra network locked?

      https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/oppo-find-x2-pro-telstra-…

      • Not locked, just has telstra apps.

      • Is there such a thing as a network locked phone these days?

      • Telstra version is single sim phone

    • +3

Call JB and pricematch Mobileciti $799, then apply the discount code to the cart link they send you to get it for $639.20.

      • called JB and they said this is a Telstra version, they don't do Price Match for contract model. Even after I trying to argue this is a network unlocked version they insisted it. Bugger.

        • Call again and try for someone who isn't incompetent

    • +1

That phone in particular isn't a good deal with this promo. They've had it for $699 previously but it's been under $600 with Wireless 1 I'm pretty sure

  • These OPPO phones are all single sim right? This is annoying.

    • I think they're all dual nano SIM. What made you think they're single sim?

        Telstra version is single sim.

        • Ah yes, Find X2 is single sim. The newer (2021) models are dual

          • @whitelie: Thanks for the info. Only reason I didn't get X2 is the lack of dual sim. I'll consider X3.

            • @arctan: The last deal people spoke of aftermarket sim card tray and overseas firmware can make this phone dual sim.
Only reason I'm looking at this deal still.

              • @RambunctiousRog: XDA forums has examples of turning this into dual-sim. Only area of concern is that both SIMs get the same IMEI number, which might be illegal. I haven't seen a confirmation on this. On all regular dual-sim pones I checked, the two SIMs have different IMEI numbers.

    • Only telco-branded versions are single SIM. These are all outright dual SIM models.

      • +2

All Oppo Find X2 series phone were Single SIM (whether Telco model or Not). Not sure about X3 series..

  • Lol Oppo RRP $1599.
    What were they thinking?

    • +1

Yeah, at this point it's far better to wait a year and get it cheap rather than paying full flagship price. Even at full price it's an awesome phone, even better at half that!

OPPO A74 5G for $359 is semi tempting.

    • I'd grab one but I got all these wireless charging spots around the house/car. Anyone got a lead on a ~ $500 phone with wireless charging that's good value?
