Decent price. Delivery to Melbourne south-east suburbs was $7.

RAC members save an additional 5%.

Mod: Showing out of stock but available in-store in Retravision Margaret River, Albany, Kalgoorlie, Karratha, and Mitchell & Brown Retravision (Geraldton), although this may be a web site error. Store Rep has commented that there is no available stock.

  I've heard that Google TV has unwarranted banner ads that default onto the home screen, are there ways to get around that on the Shield?

    Yep.

    I use the new Apps tab, by using a single press of the Menu button (Remotes and Accessories - Customize Menu Button - set Short Press to "Open All Apps view"), or a long press of the Home button:

    It's really not a big deal. People act like it's the end of the world but it's a few pictures of movies and shows on the top of the screen. How often do you find yourself just sitting on the home screen? I turn mine on and open plex/netflix/prime/etc within seconds no matter what device I'm on, so there could be ads for barbies horse adventures all over the home screen for all I care as you see it for all of 2 seconds max.

      I find it useful as I can never decide what I want to watch. I let Google decide for me…

        Yeah I don't mind it and every now and then will go through all the suggested stuff to add to my watch list. Nice and easy way to find new shows and movies, and the more you do it the better the recommendations get.

  I couldn't C&C even though I have a Retravision in the same post code (6722, South Hedland). Odd. I can C&C with Harvey Norman 20 minutes away just fine.

  So with the RAC discount and the $7 shipping (despite walking past Retravision on the regular), it came to $280.60
