Weren’t these cheaper during the Catch deal recently?

  • It's showing $7.25 (6.53 s+s) for me.

    • s and s is too high

    • My bad, that's for the AAA 2 pack.

2 pack? After the 8 packs we used to get it seems so pointless…

    • But for new OZB'ers who don't have any Eneloop batteries (like me) surely it is better to get on the train now, with 2 packs - than not buy any at all? I figure every day I don't have them I am throwing away money on disposable batteries.

Have been waiting for a deal - purchased with S&S to cancel after first delivery.

Buy something with TGG concierge for $30 for 3 years. They’ll send you 3 x $20 vouchers per year. Use this to buy 12 new eneloops each year (they are $19.95 and are Made in Japan ones), for $10/year.

New OzB should be buying IKEA LADDAs then especially when these aren't even Pros.

Spending over $4 on an NiMH cell is not a bargain.

        • for some people free amazon shipping is attractive if they don’t live near ikea, or want a big enough qty that shipping becomes insignificant.

        • The pros have their uses but have significantly less charge cycles. The standard batteries have their place, too.

Any recommendations for a charger for these?

I've heard the Nitecore D4s are pretty good. I personally use the Nitecore UMS4 and it works well as far as I can tell.

      • Nitecore and LiitoKala have good reputation overall

  • Even cheaper than buying in 4 packs!

thankyou for this, i just maxed out on the maximum amount per customer

      • aha, thats only because in the past hour they lifted the price of the 2xAA's from $9.75 (what i bought them at 1 and a half hours ago) to $16.50

But at the time of posting, it was cheaper to buy the 2 packs

I'm glad i impulse bought them when i did

  • Purchased 5 x AA.

The AAA doesn't seem like a good deal though - or am I looking at the wrong product?

$37.99 for a 8xAA made in Japan pack on ebay, free shipping. Even cheaper if you buy multiple packs.
