SCARYSMOOTH

Haven't received the wipers from WiperTech yet, but the wiper attachment seems to replicate factory attachments - better for wind noise aerodynamics, with the wiper arm sitting closer to the glass.

Wipertech are really expensive for basic Chinese wiper blades.

But hey, they marketed themselves right and the people keep buying them!

  • Tried one, but wasn't as good as the original Subaru Forester 2011 version, where the part that holds the rubber are in separate part (if you know what I meant)

  • Had a pair for a mercedes and they were so noisy, I had to change them in a couple of month. But everyone else seems o
To be happy with them, maybe hit and miss with these guys?

  • I’ve had a look at these before but couldn’t seem to find the correct fitment for my Renault Captur. Neither of the two attachments look the same as what’s actually on the car so I ended up going back to the dealer and buying originals. The model I own seems to be a weird in-betweener in the Captur lineup as that’s not the only spare part I’ve had difficulty finding 3rd party.

    • All of my fittings looked different to my original but all clipped in easily.

    • Hi! You are right; there are a few variations within the Renault Captur lineup. The easiest way for us to identify what wipers you need is for you to send us a couple of pics of your current wiper blades along with the exact build year of the car. Hope to hear from you soon.

  • Had a pair on a Kluger and also the ASX for a couple of years and have just RE-ordered off this deal. Easy to fit and work well.

  • Yeah nah. $69 for my car. 13k+ reviews on their website. Sure…

  • Bosch Icons are $60 for a set on Amazon US. Atleast for my cars, they have multiple size sets. Example a 21A22A set means it has a 21" and 22" wiper blade in it

Car part Australia on amazon are selling Aerotwins for $28 each also

  • Aren't great on my Lexus ISF. Definitely don't work as well as OEM in my experience

  • Gone through 2 sets of these on 2 different cars. They lasted 3 months on each. They streak not long after installing. Live in FNQ so they get some decent use, so maybe that's why.

    • Sorry to hear that you are not pleased with the performance. Don't hesitate to contact our support team; we will be more than happy to identify what went wrong and supply replacement under warranty.

  • Just bought the bosch on Amazon. These have been a massive pain on my Hyundai i30 PD. Car always inside, never on the sun for extended periods and they skip like crazy, very noisy too. Never again.

  • Tried them from the last deal 5 months ago for my VW Golf and I would not recommend, like others here I had to shave the fitting to have it even install properly. The left blade also didn't make full contact at the tips, thought it was an issue with the blades I received but even the replacements had the same issues.

Overall they performed subpar compared to OEM/Bosch, they started to squeak and skip a month or so ago so I will be looking to switch back to Bosch Aerotwins again as those lasted much longer for my conditions. Comparing in hand with my old Aerotwins, you can tell the fit and finish of these blades are just not the same, the plastics have a shiny cheap plastic feel, the wiper support was weak, and there's sharp edges from bad plastic mould tolerances.

Their customer support was great though, if that's an important factor for you. If you get these, expect to change them within 6 months if parked outside like mine.

    • Hi! Thanks for the feedback. I am sorry to hear about your experience. Just a note on the Golf line off wipers - it is essential to select the exact build year of the Golf as they are variations on wiper blade design between each generation (including half gen). Having said that, we supply an OEM replacement product, and there should be no modifications required.

If you email us via < [email protected] >, we can establish what went wrong here and provide you with a complete replacement or refund under warranty. Cheers.

  • First time buying them for our XV40 Camry. Being second owners, unsure if the blades have ever been replaced, but they are making noise and could do with a replacement. Anyone else with an XV40 who can attest to the cost/quality of these?

  • comes to $56 for whatever car i select. i can get pair aerotwins from Automotive Superstore delivered for 85 cents more.

why are wipertech asking premium brand money for a product which seems to be less than premium, going by some of the above user experiences?

Just received and installed these on my Aurion (gsv40). Seem fine. The blades are much quieter than the refills I got from Supercheap. Hopefully they last a while.

  • I always prefer to support businesses that advertise on ozbargainer but lets compare the pair.

For my crapbucket 2005 rav4 to replace the 2 front and one rear wiper from Wipertech it will be
    $89 - $13 discount = $76 delivered

    From braumach.com.au it is
    $42.85 - 10% discount code BRM10 = $38.66 delivered

I dont mind paying 10 - 20% more to help a local, but double? that is way to much for ozbarg loyalty

  • Got mine and tried to install it after watching the video and selecting the right model. It would not go in and I had emailed tech support for assistance but I did not here from them. Started requesting a refund and it was the same. I decided to opt to visit a backyard mechanic to spend $10 instead. Don't bother buying.
