We would love nothing more than for the console prices to drop. The market shortage for both Xbox and PS5 consoles
has caused the prices to skyrocket and sourcing any units is difficult even though we go through retailers and
distributors in South-East Asia, Japan and Hong Kong.As a comparison, Nintendo has better supply in the market and the distributors are able to provide us with stock
and as such we can keep our prices reasonable. For the PS5 and Xbox we are unfortunately not able to do this as we
do not get stock at distributor prices or anywhere near it. After shipping, payment costs and other fees, we do not
make profit selling them. We offer these to our customers as we aim to be a store where you can buy things
that are otherwise unavailable such as regional mobile phones, limited edition electronics and yes, in this case gaming
consoles with supply issues and highly inflated prices.We understand the frustration, and we have staff, friends and family waiting for the prices to fall. However, based
on recent supply, we would not really expect the prices to go down but do the opposite and SONY has warned that supply
shortages will last until next year.I just received my PS5 from ebgames for $750.

Who on earth is buying a grey import without Australian warranty when you can get it for cheaper even through a scalper and Australian stock? Even eb games had preorders for consoles for Nov/Dec shipments at RRP just 2 days ago. And as per the previous deal, you have been scalping consoles since at least the beginning of the year. To claim you are doing it from the goodness of your heart and not making any profit is ludicrous. Absolutely laughable.
