Free 3 Months Amazon Prime or $15 Amazon Gift Card for World and World Elite MasterCard Cardholders @ MasterCard

5433

New-to Amazon Prime (including trial) customers will enjoy 3 months (90 day) membership. Existing Amazon Prime (non-trial) customers will receive a AUD15 Amazon gift card directly into your Amazon wallet.

The exact same as this deal but now non-CommBank Mastercard holders can try and their luck. I was able to successfully get a $15 Amazon gift card. Note that some Platinum cards are actually World Mastercards.
.
Update: If you don't have an eligible card, follow this comment thread for an easy loophole method. Full credit to doweyy

Once you are successful, to get $15 Amazon credit click "Sign in" as shown here. It will only add a $15 gift card to your account if you already have an active paid for Prime membership on that account. Trial Prime membership won't work - It will be replaced by 3 months membership.

Update 23/11: Up and working again for eligible MasterCard holders.

          • @MiscOzB: Worked no problem

            • @Paul B: but you can only use once on that account!

              • @Feeblely: Restarted prime for 1 month first then claimed $15 gift card. Slightly better than 3 months prime for me.

                • @Paul B: Did you do the free trial or you paid for that one month?

                  • @JHoliday: Paid for 1 month, wait a few days then cancel to get refund if not used

You really hacked it. MVP of the year

    • Cheers, got $15 credited on my account, lol.

      • +1

Did the same, chipped a few more bucks for a iPad keyboard I have never wanted before seeing this deal.

Hope someone doesn’t get fired because of this.

      • Came late to the party. It’s over ☹️

    • +3

Technically fraud - obtaining benefit by deception. Is $15 really worth the risk?

    • Legend!

    • Random digits worked. Welp looks like I'm going to jail for fraud 😂

      • +1

Probably not going to jail, but might get a perma ban from Amazon. Personally my integrity is worth a bit more than $15.

    • You the real MVP!

  • Same here,

No luck on my CBA Debit MC or UP MC.

  • Worked on my "Free for life" Citibank Signature (now called Premier) MC

    • Ditto also worked for me, Cheers.

  • Tried with my commonwealth master card.

Looks like the card number you entered is not eligible for this benefit.

Check your card number or try a different eligible card.

  • working on my westpac mastercard, good thing that i removed it previous as my payment method

    • Why do you have that many cards?

      • +9

        To claim $15

        • Oh….

        • Can you double dip? 3 months prime..then $15 etc

          • @tunzafun001: unfortunately not it hits you with this offer has already been used on this account

      • Various reasons:
        * 0% balance transfer (BT) offers – you can do a BT to a credit card that doesn't have an outstanding balance (since banks can't see your balance) and then just withdraw it as cash to put into your mortgage, invest, etc. for a 0% interest rate.
        * Sign-up bonuses – I've earnt several hundred thousand QFF points just doing my usual spend.
        * Amex – they often have bonus offers (e.g. spend $X at merchant Y and get $Z back); when I had the Explorer card, they had free smartphone screen damage insurance also.
        * 28 Degrees – free Boingo WiFi (useful on long flights), price protection.
        * Bankwest – free travel insurance, free extended warranty.

  • Works on my Westpac Black. Cheers OP~

  • +2

Used my closed Westpac Black card and it worked.

It also says they will charge this card for $6.99 / month after 3 months. Assume they cant and won't pass the charge on to another linked card?

Do I need anything to cancel after the 3 months are up (apparently can get 12 months with my Optus as well).

    • Keen to know as well. Btw, how do you get 12 months free via MyOptus? Does it stack on top of this making it 15 months free?

    • +2

Couldn't you just cancel the subscription before the 3 months lapse? You should still be able to access Prime and cancel the credit card if it's attached to your account.

    • I've had a few Prime accounts over the years and have always been able to cancel auto renewal before the subscription ends, then was still able to use the service until the end date.

    • -1

I have remove my credit card from the amazon account but it still says Prime membership managed by Amazon so I think I will still get charged after 3 months and no way to cancel :(

    • Legend my Westpac card I closed at the start of the year worked 😆

  • Works on my Commbank World Debit card

  • Westpac Platinum works

  • Citi Premier works. Says 'world' on the back.

  • +1

My Westpac card works, however I’ve got just one month Prime membership not three. Anyone has the same problem?

    • Yes.

      Billed through third party
      Ends on 17 December 2021

      Perhaps it renews monthly?

  • Worked with Westpac Altitude but since I'm on prime trial will wait until it's over to redeem since can't get $15 while being on trial

      Thank you!!

It seems that the card details you entered have already been used to claim a Amazon Prime membership membership.
Please check the card number or use a different eligible card and try again.

  • Where did you find this deal originally? Wondering what other benefits World/Elite Mastercards have?

  • +9

How do you actually cancel after 3 months? Under end membership, it says it's managed by MasterCard and to contact them…. No option to cancel in the app….

    • Same here keen to know as well!

  • Damn I got up at the right time to take a slash.

  • if you are already on free trial for a month you may get 3 months of amazon prime by activating this deal instead of $15 :'-(

    • And this increases the chance of account ban right? :|

      • What account ban? I got 6 Amazon accounts and get 2 month trial for each, so 12 months of prime every year

  • +8

Can't find the link to register, is it gone?

    • Edit: Link has returned. No cards are successful for me though.

  • +4

I can't seem to be able to find the deal on the links at all. Can anyone give me the link please :((

  • +4

On the Disclaimer Mastercard site it saids able to cancel anytime on Amazon but i'm unable to end membership via Amazon.. Anyone find a way to cancel?

  • +1

I keep getting redirected to the main MasterCard website when I use Safari. Do I need to do it on a desktop for the link to work?

  • so how many times you guys claimed the gift card?

  • Thank you! Works like a charm! Got $15 each for both of my accounts!

    • You had two Prime (non-trial) accounts?

      • +1

It was silly, actually I forgot to cancel the trial after 30days and had paid one month subscription, now money back lol

  • -1

Looks like the link is not assessable now.

The original link was https://elevate.mastercard.com/benefit/product/166859/amazon… but it now redirects us to https://www.mastercard.com.au/en-au.html

    Game over?

  • Cheers OP & Doweyy,

    Sweet as!

  • Thanks, worked for HSBC Premier card

  • For those who don't have a mastercard, follow doweyy comment

    • +1

I put it in the OP as a bold update as well :)

      • Oh yes! Sorry I missed that, I do skip a few things haha. :)

      • jv

        approves
  • Worst case using the random numbers? Thanks op

  • So If you had non prime account then you won’t get $15?

  • +2

Beware: if done via random card then this will come under the category of fraud.

“ dishonestly obtaining a benefit, or causing a loss, by deception or other means “

Really worth $15 or a 3 months membership?

    • Make look like your account was hijacked then. The most common reason… it wasn't me it was someone else.

      • +1

And when to report that account got hacked? After a month? :| 3 months? :|

        • You can't cancel the membership yourself as someone pointed out. So either locks your account and makes it seem like you recovered it after an email about unusual activity. Reactivate and if trouble raises point it out based on the log on their system.

People will cash out prime gaming stuff and boost subs on twitch. The standard trial stuff from scriptors.
