        I pay extra to ensure the transmission lines between my suburb and the power station are gold plated also.

        The Australian cabling standards don't go far enough, I always go for double capacity just in case. Can never by too sure, wouldn't want pressure on the circuit breakers. No such thing as overkill lol.

      HPM has a much better reputation than Arlec, which is a budget brand.

      I find the plugging action on HPM power boards the best. The plastic housing feels more solid too.

    Paid double for this like a week ago. Note that the spaces between the outlets are quite small so plugging in a chunky power brick may block the adjacent plug.
