The following terms are specific to the $45 amaysim cashback offer (CRDEAL1), but are similar across all 3 long expiry plans:

  2. SIM must be activated by Dec 31. If you activate after December 31, cashback will be declined for this offer.
  3. New amaysim mobile services only - offer is not available for existing mobile numbers. Porting from another carrier is fine.

      Unfortunately not. You must activate only the ordered SIM for cashback to be eligible.

  • I used to have a number with them, and now it recognises me as an existing customer even though I am not using their service. When I entered my email address, it said I already have an account and asked me to log in. But no matter what I did, it just won't let me in. Reset password twice. Can log in through the website, but can't go through this order page. Pretty weird…

    • Someone commented earlier in this thread and advised to use the phone number instead of email address to login.

  • Hi TA, does the CR account and the amaysim account have to be in the same name to receive cashback? Basically my partner's mobile phone number is under my name and given each CR account can only get one cashback per type of plan (my partner and I both want the same plan and of course cashback!), we are thinking to use his CR account to port one of 'my' numbers over and my CR account for the other one - both to the same amaysim account. Will we get two lots of cashback in this case? We are planning to formally change ownership anyway after moving to amaysim - just not enough time to do it with our current provider to get this deal!

        • hey TA, just want to verify, if I've bought one of the "12-month 165GB is $55 after cashback" deals on my cashrewards account, and my wife wants to buy another one of the same deal on her cashrewards account, does it matter, if they're both linked to the same Amaysim account? She hates extra accounts, logins, paperwork, etc. but I can persuade her to just click through from her cashrewards account and just use my newly created amaysim account. That should be ok, right?

          • @Kenb0: It won't matter at our end (Cashrewards), but it may matter at amaysim's end. Please remember they are the ones approving these cashbacks. If it was me, I'd create a new amaysim account to play it safe :)

  • I would like to purchase two 12 month services and want to get cashback on both so will buy a 60GB $60 12-month SIM and a 165GB $100 12-month SIM.

    My question is can I move some of the data from the 165GB and share it with the 60GB service? I've never used amaysim before.

  • I'm Amaysim customer. Willing to loose 3 recharges by porting out to ALDI last night at 9pm. Only took 2 mins to port out, number disappeared from amaysim account instantly. Tried to place the order after 10 mins but said number was still in database.
    Just placed an order again at 7:30 AM and went through, can see $30 rewards under cashreward instantly.
    Happy now and a whole year plan for just $30 !!!!.

      I have seen a comment that $2 sim can do the trick, but the last time I got a Sim card delivered from Amaysim it took 10 days so I decided to get a Sim that had enough data to cover that time.
      I bought a Lebara 3gb+5gb bonus sim for $4 (discounted from $14.xx) from Woolies. Port out time, not too sure. I activated last night but didn't happen after an hour so went to sleep and was done when I woke up 6 hrs later.
      If you take this route Lebara bonus won't apply unless you enter payment details and agree to auto recharge (can cancel later). I suggest to NOT enter your proof of ID as it might stuff up the auto recharge requirement. I'm dealing with Lebara customer service right now about this. They tell me wait 74 hrs for it to apply. I'm a bit sceptical but will give them the benefit of the doubt. Good luck

      • Not sure how you got that $4 Lebara sim from woolies. I couldn't find it. Had to buy $2 sim at the end and activate it on $14.90 plan.

          Edit: also available were $6 down from $24 for 30(?)GB but was OOS, and $10 down from $29 for some other larger amount of data..

            Bought a 30 day optus sim from the service station for $10, and ported out and then back into Amaysim 12 month plan. Great that it works so quickly.

            This deal with the best one of last year, so its great to get it again.

            2021 has been a slow year for deals I think, so nice to get this one again.

  • @Tightarrse, a family member just signed up with CR, tried to purchase the $100/1 year plan and got a broken cart message at the end from amaysim, yet received the order confirmation email that the order went through.           In the past with many sims you can just choose your number to port when you activate the sim. With this deal I am not sure, maybe ask tightarse to see how you could get it to track and if you can use that sim to port?

    Hoping you can answer this for me. I purchased the offer last night but realised I put a typo in the number I was porting over (by 1 digit). I've since contacted Amaysim customer care and they advised that they cannot edit my number in the purchase but would need to withdraw the number and resign up again. How does that affect my order and cash rewards entitlement? Would like to understand this from your side rather then customer service who probably have no idea of the offer.

Limited to one cashback per month per Cashrewards account.".

  • I bought one of the 365 day plans. I'm getting a new number. I've got notification that the sim is being sent. I paid with paypal and had to verify ID online which I did in the online account. The SIM has not yet arrived.

    I was planning to activate the SIM at the end of December.

    Today I login and it already says auto renews on 26 Nov 2022 yet I never went through any activation process. It's like the 365 days have already started even though I haven't even received the SIM and wasn't planning to activate for 1 month. Has this happened to anyone else choosing a new number?
