If running Windows, you are correct. For a Chromebook, 4GB is plenty of RAM.

seems to be hate for phones with 4gb ram running android…and people wanting 6gb on an android phone …how does this go once using more than just a browser.

    • +1

A Chromebook with 4GB RAM has been my primary computer for the last few years. Only bothers me when running Linux applications. For just the Chrome browser it should be good for a few more years I reckon.

  • Nvm! Should have read description

    • I'm sure it's one of these, who knows with Lenovo's nomenclature.

  • 4gb ram doesn’t cut it.

      For Windows.

    • 4GB is huge in Chromebook

  • This versus Lenovo Ideapad Duet Chromebook for $275?

    • +2

One is a flexible laptop with a touchscreen, the other is a tablet with an attachable keyboard.

      • I can see that but aren't they essentially the same thing? If you are going to be a lot of typing, I can understand the laptop is better but the Tablet should be more versatile?Performance I assume is very similar?

        • +1

This CPU would be a little quicker than the Duet. But you're right, essentially one's just bit more portable tabletty (duet) and one's a bit more laptoppy (flex 5), but they both have a lot in common.

If you intend to use Linux extensively, I would recommend Intel processor in this one over ARM in Duet.

If you intend to use Android apps/games, maybe Duet would be better? Not sure about current state of Android apps compatibility with Intel based Chromebooks as I only own ARM based C330
