They are putting Apple to shame with that pre-discount price, and post discount price isn't something to write home about.
Here are some ways to avoid jack and get the cheaper price:
Price match JB Hi-Fi with Catch and pay with 15% off TCN gift cards from Coles or Buy gift cards with AMEX offer and pay with that.

Instead of hating post counter deals.
No i dont think afterpay deals are real deals. They get people to go into debt by giving the quick easy credit get them hooked. The cost is a lot higher than what you get in the long run. Sure there are people who use it to their advantage but lot of people get sucked into it. Not to mention (contrary to what they say on their website) it does impact on your credit worthiness. So the costs mount up.
Those are real deals if you know how to take advantage. Otherwise like I said instead of hating just post counter “real deals” to help those who don’t know how manage their finances and don’t want to sign up to AfterPay etc.
