I've rang local EB games 2 hrs ago and asked them about pre-order and they've said "not this year"
Now, finding out after lunch… this happened…LOL
I never believe customer service and just keep asking until i getthe answer I want to hear.

Use Twitter on your phone. There's a couple of accounts you can follow (PS5 stock alerts Australia) and others for Xbox. Make sure you have notifications on when they post. Change your tweet notification to something unique so you know exactly what it is. I preordered an Xbox X for my son and a PS5 for a mate at work within 5 days. I too spoke with EB games 2 hours before the preorder happened and they said next year at the earliest. They obviously don't know / or cant say anything. Now I'm hoping to have an Xbox X on the 17th and my mate is exciting on having a PS5 for the new year. Best of luck.

You can get $50-60 for v1, if your DS5 uses first mobo. Very easy to install, check YT.

In the Rewards app there is a boost of 800 points if you scan your card at checkout before the 19th of December.
It works out to be $15 bucks off every $150 worth of GC not including the 800 points booster in the app.
I only bought 5 cause i didnt want the checkout guy to go thru 18 GC at check out hahaha.
I also checkout as Guest and went into my local store to pick up my copy of A Plague Tale for $36 on special and asked about putting my checkout under my account. He said it will be binded to the account on pickup of the PS5. So that will answer some of the people asking earlier.

They first refund the deposit to my credit card. Then I repurchased using some store credits and gift cards. All done in store. Hope this helps.
