27413

Sign ups via TikTok rewards are boosted to $30 worth of points which can be redeemed for a $30 Amazon Gift Card.

  1. Open Tiktok, sign in and visit the rewards icon.
  2. Create a new account on a family or friends device and enter your unique sign up code from your main account.
  3. Claim the points in the app and link your Amazon Account. The gift card balance will appear in your amazon straight away!

Edit: for those wondering how to enter the code after sign up, go to the rewards section of the new account and click Earn points - then there will be a field for the referral code of the main account, then an option to follow that account. Points should show up instantly.

Edit 2: users are having issues because they are not using a separate device new to TikTok

Referees can receive 5,000 Reward Points for creating content on the Platform and using the hashtag #GiveJoyGetRewards in the video caption during the first 10 days on Platform, starting from the day of registration.

      • I finally got it to work by creating a brand new account and redeeming points from that instead.

        • A brand new Amazon account?
Was it Amazon Au or US?
Did you create it from the "create new amazon account" link in TikTok app?

I created a new Amazon AU account in browser and entered that in TikTok's withdrawal page (using Amazon AUD as the method), but just get the mesage that "This withdrawal method is not support in your country".
No VPN. Tried using mobile data and wifi.

          EDIT
Well using the TikTok link to create a new Amazon requires a phone number, and that yields the error, "This number you've entered already exists with another [Amazon] account".
So that's not an option for me.

  • Worked well now. It worked twice for me. Good to have different devices and a lot of Amazon accounts…. THANKS OP!

  • +2

Only works on the phones that have never installed tiktok before. Chinese app can check your phone imei.

    • +2

Uber/Hey you/Ritual all have that function…it is an easy one…..if you hate CCP then screw their money is best revenge….what did you lose? a burner email address?

  • What're the odds Amazon take back the money if done multiple times to the same account?

Edit: Never mind, can't the area to enter the referral code to appear with two new accounts after already successfully doing it once. Free $30 is a win, I guess they're stopping me being too greedy lol.

  • does this work on tablet?

    • Ill let you know. Just remembered i have a tablet somewhere in storage and a iPod touch

      • I think they realised, couldn't get it to work on my other two phones

    • No

    • Worked for me on ipad.

  • Anyone knows when does the Amazon voucher expires once added onto the Amazon account?

  • +1

“You’ll get points worth $0. Redeem points for a $0 Amazon Gift Card or donate points to NGOs”

    anyone else get this?

    • +1

This is what mine says, but got $30 worth for each referral.

  • Doesn't work on a windows PC through chrome or with the app installed

  • seemed to work fine for me making a new account then signing up the wife on same network both ios, thanks King Jingping

  • How do you unlink your Amazon account after..?

  • +1

Someone who really wanted to do this. Head to an Apple store and browse lol

  • +5

Why are the whiteys getting so worked up over China?

    • Because Tik Tok is owned by Chinese company who has been found to be discriminating against ugly, poor or disabled people, no joke lol

    • I think youll find most of Asia hates them too, and lets add Solomon islands who had recent unrest due to chinese influence

      • Sure…whatever makes you sleep at night

  • Looks like they've caught up…I tried on a 2nd device but although I have 300000 points, when I click 'Redeem' I get a message 'You already completed this task'

    • +1

if you already redeemed today, apparently doing it the next day will alllow you to do it again (check above comments)

    • Use it on a different device. Worked for me after…

      • can you clarify what you mean by this? as in you logged in to a separate device with an account that already had the 30,000 points and withdrawed from there?

        • And can the seperate device be a device that previously already have Tik Tok installed?

        • +1

If you have 300.000 points in the account and your device doesn’t work, try it with the login on a separate device and use a different Amazon account.

  • Is the $30 for referrer only?

    • It seems so as my points 0 after all that - my referrer’s point is 300k

    • Yes.

  • -2

Please be aware that they will check your phones IMEI and your phone number. So you can't use a tablet or a phone without a SIM card ,,,

    • +2

Used a wifi-only iPad without issue.

    • Wrong. I got no problem on a 2011 iPad Mini WiFi

      • It seems like only iPads work as my android tablet doesn't work.

        • my android tablet not work, let me try my ipad

          • @PeppaCat: Used hubby Samsung tab s7 plus without issues

    • +1

I used one phone without a SIM card, worked fine. The other phone had one.

    • +1

      Wrong.

There is no app in existence that can read IMEI without root permission.

What it might read is you google ad ID or apple's equivalent.

That ID resets if you reset your phone, or if you go into the settings and reset it

  • Can we refer to more than 1 account?

    Edit:
Successfully got a 2nd 300,000 points on the same Tik Tok account but when I tried to convert the points to Amazon GC, it says “You have already completed this task”.

  • +1

was able to take out $90

  • +1

My referral has been clicked 8 times and I have 0 reward points.

    What is this utter shite?

    • 5 here and nothing either

      • Yeah I think I stuffed up too as the second device I used referral code rather than referral link followed by referral code so had error.

The OzB referral system probably needs to be replaced with referral links rather than referral codes. The referral link has the code shown when clicking through.

    • +1

Unsure if it matters. I got a 2nd 300,000 points on the same Tik Tok account but when I tried to convert the points to Amazon GC, it says “You have already completed this task”.

      • +1

Same with me. No idea how to withdraw the other $30

        • Have a feeling there is no cap on getting how many 300,000 points, but redeeming the $30 Amazon GC can only be done once per account.

        • +1

according to older comments, you can apparently only redeem once a day. So should be able to take out the 2nd $30 tomorrow?

        • Sign in on a different device. I used my missus phone and suddenly it worked. You have to create another Amazon account too. I always have some spare ones…

          • @Thrifty Dan: Can the different device be a device that previously already have Tik Tok installed?

      • Hmm nope. New account so I've never had any rewards :/

    • Check the help icon.
      4. An invitation request is only complete when that person uses the invite link and enters the code. Keep in mind, if someone just taps the invite link and doesn't enter code, the invitation will be considered invalid.

Basically sign up first and then click the link to enter the code.

      • Yep I did that.

  • +1

Signed up using someone’s referral code above, hopefully they got it.

I signed up using iPhone. Then used another iPhone and an iPad to signup using my code. Was able to enter code on both new devices. Then was able to redeem Amazon. The $60 arrived in my Amazon already. Too easy.

  • Managed to get it to work. I used a Samsung Galaxy S7 and a Lenovo Tab4 8, used the phone with mobile data and the tablet with wifi. Made two separate accounts and entered invite code on phone account since the tablet has the 'couldn't participate' error. Ended up getting the $30 in amazon instantly and unlinked straight after with 0 issues.

    • The whole point is to use your own referral link, cause only referer gets $30

      • How to create a link when I can’t even see rewards after installing and signing up on a brand new device.

    • Thanks for sending invite links but I can't see rewards icon.

  • signed up on my device then signed up on a different device an entered my ref code. Still says something went wrong

  • +1

Cannot seem to get it to work despite trying two different phones with 2 different phone numbers and emails :/ just my luck

  • +5

Thanks OP. Worked on my wifi-only iPad mini. I got 24 returned iPads at work. Should I sign up with each device? LOL
Edit: Can redeem Amazon gift card once only. But still receive 300k points for each signup.

    • +1

Someone said above you can redeem only once per 24hrs so will see tomorrow

      • Thanks. Just redeemed another $30 after midnight. Will try again tomorrow night lol

  • -1

    NO DEAL AT ALL

  • So I actually need two phone numbers?
And using two devices won't work unless they are two different phone numbers?

    Not emails etc? Or wifi?

    • +1

I signed up using email on wifi and got 300k points straightaway.

      • Oh okay, I shall have a look again - was that using browser or app?
        EDIT
And as I just read your earlier comment - you were able to redeem the points for signing up new account for a voucher? No referring brouhaha?

        • +1

Use app. Only the referrer get the points.
You need one account first to get the referral code.
Sign up for another account with your email and put the referral code in the Earn points section.

          • @hypexx: Thanks got the credit - now to decide if i should enter my Amazon account details!
Tried to create a new Amazon account so I could revoke TikTok's permission after getting the voucher but before entering bank details.

Alas, after entering Amazon account details on the "Connect with Amazon Gift Card" step, I get the message "This withdrawal method is not support in this country"

The withdrawal method is " Amazon Gift Card AUD (funds should arrive in 1 business day)"
Although it looks as though it could be greyed out, clicking it takes me to the Connect with Amazon Gift Card page.

            Any ideas, anyone please?
I've tried via wifi and mobile data.

  • +1

Anyone successfully get a referral working on a device that said Something went wrong. Try again later?
What did you change to get it to start working?

    • +1

I logged out of the app, changed the network and logged back in. It worked for me, not sure if either or both made it work.

  • Managed to score one $30 card. Have no moral qualms about trying for another, considering it's Tik Tok paying up!.

  • I have downloaded tik tok app and regustered email address. Where do i find rewards section?

    • -2

if you go to your profile there should be a gift icon in the top left corner. once in that section you should see a button that says 'earn points' if you press that you should see the box to enter a code. Mod: removed referral solicitation

      • In profile I can only see find friends icon on top left hand corner in the mobile app..

        Reward button is missing..

      • +1

        nice try!

        • So i downloaded Tiktok app from playstore on android phone, made new account.

And should i send invite to another account, download app on another device through that invite??

        • oops i should really read the rules next time

  • -1

    nah didn't work,

  • Had mixed results. 1st device/try it worked, next 2 devices (that haven't had tiktok installed with unique emails/mobiles). First one said something went wrong, the other one said can't participate on this device.

  • +1

After some tries, here are some pointers:

    1. If possible, use Apple, Samsung, LG devices. Also, it might be best to use phones with different SIMs.
    2. You can use a phone + a tablet combination, but they need to be on different network (you can get it to work with phone (mobile network) and tablet (WiFi)).
    3. When register for a new TikTok account, use either the e-mail or the phone number option, don't use the sign in with Google option.
    4. For your second device, once you clicked on the giftbox icon, Earn Points, if you do not see Enter your friend's invite code. Then, the issue is either the device itself or the same network was used on this device with device one.

It is actually the second device (the one you will use to enter the referral code) that's more important. The basic idea is that TikTok needs to believe that it is a different device and a proper device. So, if you only have 1 Apple device (i.e. iPad), use that as your second device.

    • On my first device, where do i see my invite code?

      • Assuming you already signed up to TikTok on your first device via App.

        • Open the TikTok App
        • Click on Profile (on Android, it is at the bottom right corner)
        • Then, near top left of the app screen, there should be a gift box icon, click on it
        • On the next screen, you should see the information about the invite.

If after you clicked on the gift box (reward) icon, you see a blank screen, then you most likely have an old device (I am guessing Android) or it is a device that simply not compatible with the TikTok app. If so, then you will need to find another device.

        • After i click on profile, in the middlle top i have my username and top left only has an icon where you click and it takes you to find friends. There is no gift box icon and i am using S21 Samsung.

          • @BinnyC: Based on the birthday you entered, the account belongs to someone who is 18 years old or older right?

Maybe also check the Home page of the TikTok app, I can see an icon called Get rewards.

On my iPad, despite entering a birthday that's old enough, it still prompts me to confirm that I am over 18. If it is not showing up, then I suggest you go to Settings, stop the app, clear app cache and app data and run TikTok app and login again.

    • Some extra points:

      • If you cannot get it to work on a device, then try another device.
      • Apple devices appear to work best. We have yet to hear Apple users complaining that it doesn't work.
