Increased Referral Bonus of US$200 Worth of SG (Crypto): Min US$30 Spend in 30 Days Required @ SocialGood App

1015

As per recent deal, I have tried and tested this myself, have gotten few thousands worth of SocialGood coins and cashed out to USDT.

It was $100 referral, now $200, not sure what to make of it, but my guess is they are not reaching their new sign up targets quick enough. Though, there's not much really to lose by trying out the App.

IMO eBay AU works best with tracking(12-24 hours) and approvals always happen at the end of the following month, so it takes 31-60 days for eBay AU.

Aliexpress have also worked for me. Haven't really tried other stores.

New users need to spend US$30 or more within 30 days of signing up.

For those who have more questions about the SG/App, withdrawals, feel free to DM me, happy to help answer any questions. I've been using the SG app since May 2021.

    • Wait for the price to go up? Or buy more…

It was 90c 2 days ago, with that price could easily hit $300

      • Seems more likely that the price will go down..
Can I buy and deposit some SG to top up to $300, and then withdraw?

        • +1

          No you cant.

Before you withdrawing it from the app to your wallet address or exchange address, it's just a record of how much SG token you've earned.
More like QFF points. Not actual crypto token on the blockchain yet.

The app does not contain an address nor holding your actual token.

So no you can not buy some and top it up.

What they can do, maybe they allow you to transfer or credit your points to other people's account.
But this would be against their purpose of increasing the minimum amount until you can withdraw, which is to make your withdraw much harder.

What you can do would be, spend more and earn more SG tokens, and it needs to be reasonably more than what would be the minimum withdraw amount after two months.
If you just spend a little more today make it up to $300 worth, then after two months when you can withdraw, they've already increased the minimum amount to be $800 worth.
If you know what I mean.

You guys are a little shy to the free money, this has been running for more than a year, and no scam report till today,
there's people withdrew 54699 token in one go two days ago.
50% back on eBay/booking, 100% back on aliexpress, and you only lose your usual 2.5% cashback if they run away, not too hard to spend a little more say $500 or %800 in a month ?

          • @aboutconfig: Thanks for the explanation.
I know I can buy more crap from aliexpress, but in 2-3 months the coin price will most likely drop, and as you said yourself, they can increase the minimum amount even further. So it's a losing strategy.

        • They disabled all withdrawal no matter how much you have. I have a quite a bit north of the $300 USD (and not including the incorrectly added SGs) and still cannot withdraw.

          • @mountaineer: May i know what's the incorrect added SGs? Thanks

            • @Bargain-er: Some eBay transactions were credited twice. Check notifications in app or add up your approved SG and compare to the amount you're supposedly staking..

  • I left all SG for staking. So far after 1 week 0 SG has been awarded to me. On the website it should be updating every 6 hours. What a mess lol

    • lolz, if they are really in Japan, I am worried about the coders/marketing staff there now.

      • -3

Well a large part of the programmers in Japan are actually from China, and a lot of the projects are out sourced to China

    • Apparently staking is not working properly at the moment. I didn't receive anything for the last few days. Rug pull?

      • I did received a bit but wasn't changed since yesterday.

  • Apparently all the eBay purchases since 5th Dec now have been approved and approved twice, now I'm in Diamond Level … I've created a signal group to discuss this on going matter is you want to join PM me, guess invite link not allowed in comment

    SocialGood just hit $1

  • Don't know guys what has happened but looks like I have (profanity) up.

I sent from CoinbaseWallet to coinbase.com account but they never arrived. I copied Etherium address from coin.base account to transfer from the wallet.

    Lost over US$1290 :(

    • Have you had a look at the blockchain records? It should offer a bit information as to what happened to your transactions?

      • Here are transaction records

        https://etherscan.io/tx/0x336e2a2a92ecbf8f465cdfca32fd2a5712…

Sorry not technical expert so can't make much sense of it

        • No expert here neither, but it does say your transaction successfully confirmed. But does coinbase.com offer SG trading? SG uses ERC network but they are not ETH.

          • @mountaineer: I transferred ETH from coinbase.com to wallet so I can pay network fee and then I copied ETH address from coinbase.com to transfer from wallet to exchange.

Don't know what has gone wrong or what I have done wrong. I note I lost extra $50 in network fee also.

SocialGoods are totally screwed up. It was so easy to transfer directly to Bitmart before.

Very bad start of the weekend!

            • @Ash-Say: In this case SG didn’t screw up anything mate. It’s just Coinbase.com doesn’t support the SG token.

            • @Ash-Say: If they can recover it's going to take a long time. Exchanges typically take 3+ months to recover unsupported coins if they recover them at all.
always copy the exact coin address not the eth address as that can also be different on some exchanges.

          • @mountaineer: Just to be clear here, both SG and ETH are coins/tokens, and they are both on the ERC network.

        • +1

As i understand, you need to swap from SG to ETH and transfer if exchange doesn't have SG as listed coin.

        • Did you see this note below when looking at the SG token in Coinbase.com:

          https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/217669/94016/0940d64d-…

It does say that the blockchain transaction is successful so I don’t think it’s completely lost and it’s somewhere with Coinbase.com. I would suggest contacting support to see what they can do. If they can retrieve the tokens, brace yourself as it may take some time for them to get the tokens back for you.

          • @ilovefullprice: I have already tried and they said they can't help as it's already gone

            • +1

              @Ash-Say: Your mistake.

            • @Ash-Say: I would try my luck with another support person as sometimes speaking to different people may yield different outcomes. Also, not sure if it’s possible to escalate higher to a manager if you’re not happy with the answer/solution being provided.

Usually with blockchain stuff, when a support person say they can’t help you anymore, usually this is almost always the case. But I guess there’s no harm trying.

              • @ilovefullprice: I know someone who did that too. You're unlikely going to recover it…

                • @[Deactivated]: Coinbase being a listed company, there could be chance for there to be a manager (hierarchical structure) to escalate matters, as opposed to say a decentralised platform.

                  • @ilovefullprice: Yes it would is my mistake eventually - not denying it!

I was relying on this comment and probably misinterpreted when it says that SG coins need to be transferred to ETH address on Coinbase.

Learnt very expensive lesson and lost close to $1800 incl transfer payment fee :( :(

                    • @Ash-Say: Don't blame yourself. There are lots of advice here and other places, but not all of them are correct or suitable or even current.
Best would be official advice from SG but there are no detailed guides for people who have no experience with wallets and crypto.
Wish someone could point to some education material online that would simplify things and help us decide how to transfer any coins.

                      • @nulled: I know there is a varying advice but stupid of me to transfer all in 1 go. I should have transferred couple of hundreds to test the process. I was just trying to save network fee and lost whole amount instead (FML!)

        • Coins are here
          0xC4c097e956E0a15A880bA13723e00e34AAC83f4a

That's the public wallet but Coinbase generates a new one for each deposit.

    • May I ask when did you withdraw SG to Coinbase wallet and how long did it take to settle in your Coinbase wallet?

      • +1

Coinbase wallet is a broken mess, import your seed into something decent. You should see the transaction in your wallet as soon as it hits the blockchain.

        • I did already submit withdraw request from SG to Coinbase Wallet (but only portion of my SG coin). Would like to ask your experience. Can you tell?

          • +1

@OrangeBJ: I submitted my request on 2 Jan and it was fulfilled on the same day after few hours.

I have transferred more this morning and still pending.

To avoid any further loss, I hope someone experienced person can confirm following:

I note that Bitmart offers Social Goods on ERC20 network. Can I transfer SG coins from CoinbaseWallet directly to Bitmart via ERC20 as long as as I have ETH to cover miner/network fee?

  • Anyone successfully got tracking fr aliexpress? I tried twice with ios but no dice…

    • Mine yesterday's one was tracked but a couple of them wasn't tracked.

Do you buy something duplicate or something with AD?

    • I use Android, all of my Ali have tracked. They had a glitch one day and 2 of my ebay orders didn't track, all other > 40 orders have tracked from Ali and ebay.

  • No email saying I can't withdraw. I can get past the bit that says you need 300 USD minimum to withdraw. I enter the ~700 USD that I want to withdraw and try to withdraw it and it says it's below the minimum withdrawal amount.

    • Getting the same here, with a $380 USD balance after the $1 jump. Potentially either silently banned from withdrawing or they have a minimum withdraw amount much higher without saying.

    • I am having the same issue.

But on the last screen where it gives that error message saying it’s below the min withdrawal amount, I noticed the USD withdrawal equivalent is double the amount of my eBay purchase.

      • Mine went though and is pending, will see if it hits the blockchain. I didn't do any ebay purchases though.
Did you enter the value to withdraw on the last screen ?

        • Actually my bad, not just the last screen but throughout all the withdrawal screens, the USD withdrawal equivalent (which are all pre-populated, so can’t enter anything apart from the amount you want to withdraw) is double the amount of my eBay purchase.

      • Yeah, I realised mine might be as well. ~750 SG when I should have ~600. But can't withdraw anything. I never got the email about it though and because I wasn't keeping track of every SG I hadn't realised.

      • Just wondering what wallet are you using to connect to SG app?

    • i saw on telegram that there is issues with the app atm and no one can withdrawal i have $700 usd and can't withdrawal either

  • All the accounts with eBay doubled approved were frozen.

    • on telegram they are saying no one can send

  • Remedy drinks and bonus approved in 11 days.

    Impressive

    • eBay?

      • Looks like eBay has been taken off from their app

      • Remedy is a listed store on SG.

    • Great, may buy something from them next time I have a bonus.

      • The crypto back rate is 4% now.
I bought some drinks in Dec 21 when it was 100% and it was tracked and approved.

  • Announcement on why they have increased withdrawal limit, just shows they haven't got much experience in handling an online company with unsustainable business model.

They have announcement on this but nothing on a large number of users having their accounts restricted due to technical glitch from their side with the double eBay issue?

  • That 300 usd limit is not true…. People here with far more than 300 still cannot put through withdrawal request, ostensibly due to some ebay issues they have….

    • I tried to withdraw 2400SG today. Not working.

      • still pending? mine was from Feb 2 and stll.

        • Yes. All withdrawals are on hold until further notice.

  • I used Trust Wallet to connect to SG app. Just wondering how do I add SG coin on Trust Wallet before I transfer SG coins from the app?

    • +1

      wait for others to confirm,
If you need to, just add custom token to add the SG > get the contract for SG from coinmarketcap etc, copy that to add custom token section, should then show 0 SG Tokens, then will show the full amount when you transfer them..

      • +2

        That's correct it should be

If anyone does receive tokens, the best way to buy eth is FTX(not pro) followed by Gemini (Active trader) both no withdrawal fees. FTX has Australian bank deposits.

        • Thanks mate. I added the contract in the Trust Wallet. Next I will have to reconnect the wallet to SG App to get the new SG deposit address right?

          • @arctan: The address is the same. click receive in trust wallet and compare it to the one shown in SG app.

            • @shadowangel: You are right. They are the same address. (SG app vs Trust wallet). Thanks!

        • I use coinbase wallet. Can I transfer Eth from FTX? No withdrawal fee means no gas fee to transfer between FTX and a wallet?

          • @jimwh: yes, FTX (not pro) , with that wallet you will pay more then metamask to send tokens.
It should cost less then 12USD to send to most exchanges. swaps on uniswap should be around 40usd

            • @shadowangel: So the step will be

              1. Check gas fee (eth) required to send SG from coinbase to bitmart.
              2. Buy required eth in FTX and send it to coinbase wallet for free.
              3. Transfer SG from coinbase wallet to bitmart, pay the gas fee using eth.
              4. Trade SG in bitmart.

              Is my understanding correct?

Also I notice I can buy eth in coinbase wallet, do you know the fee involved?

              • @jimwh: 1) you may need to buy extra. look at the erc20 tokens not eth. https://gasnow.dev/ you can also type in the contract address and see past transfer costs for SG. It's around $12-15usd currently.
                2) yes, you can send for free.
                3) yes trade then send back to FTX, if you want to withdraw as AUD. It should support something you can send from bitmart cheaply like Tether (TRC20) or maybe xrp.

If you buy eth on the coinbase wallet you will pay gas. which is $12+ then you need to pay that again to transfer the sg.

                • @shadowangel: Nevermind I didn't know FTX also supports TRC20 for USDT transfer.

            • @shadowangel: Look like you need to stack 25 FTT staked in FTX to get one free withdrawal:

There are no fees on deposits and withdrawals, except for ETH, ERC-20 tokens, or small BTC withdrawals. FTX users will pay the blockchain fees for all ETH, ERC20 tokens unless they have FTT staked.

              • +2

@jimwh: FTX not ftx pro. Ftx pro requires a stake. FTX does not.

                • @shadowangel: Can I also deposit some XLM into FTX, trade into ETH and send it back to wallet free?

                  • +1

@jimwh: FTX doesn't support XLM. It does support tether TRC20 network is $1usd from bitmart, avax is 80cents, dogecoin is about the same
                    Binance, Coinspot do support XLM

                    • @shadowangel: I have some free $20 XLM so I will transfer them between exchange via different coins, hopefully I can get enough when I deposit them into wallet.

Good education on Crypto trade though.

                    • @shadowangel: From Bitmart we have two options then. Use TRC20 to transfer USDT to either Binance or FTX and then cash out to own bank account.
Only cost 1 USDT gas fee on TRC20 network.

        • how do we know if FTX is pro or not? just registered at ftx.com for an account.

          • +1

@OrangeBJ: The one you want is FTX Blockfolio in the app store.

          • @OrangeBJ: Ftx only has an app, ftx pro is the app and website you found.

Currently only those cefi exchangs support the SG token:
    BitMart, Bittrex Global, p2pb2b

You should only transfer SG token from your wallet to one of those exchange's ERC-20 address , if you try to transfer the SG to any other places like coinbase.com trading platform, your SG will considered to be lost forever, though technically it is sitting in the address controlled by coinbase.com however they dont have the resource or policy to help you transfer it out back. So all of the support might tell you it is lost forever, unless: one day SG been listed on coinbase.com for trading, or coinbase.com feel like to help its customers to recover their money.

Among the three cefi exchanges, only BitMart has good liquidity , so if you want to sell for a good price, go for BitMart, KYC/tax required.

Other than the cefi exchange, uniswap on ETH mainnet also support swapping the SG into any other token like BTC, however its liquidity is very small and you will only get a very bad price plus a very high fee every time you try to swap it. KYC not required.

This thing happens a lot to the new comers in crypto.
In the past Binance gives the same answer, but now they have a feature on the website, to help you submit requests to recover unsupported tokens been sent to the address controlled by Binance.

        Coinbase.com platform, coinbase.com wallet app,
Crypto.com staking app, crypto.com wallet app,
those are a bit confusing as well for new comers, I recon people to use:
Binance for trading if you are ok with KYC,
KuCoin for trading if you dont want to do KYC for now,
Trust wallet app to hold your coins on the phone.

I have Bitmart account and awaiting approval of SG transfer which is sill pending since morning.

I have already transferred ETH via FTX for network fee.

Can I now just simply transfer to SG address on Bitmart?

          • @Ash-Say: All withdraw requests wont be fulfilled till further notice

      • should have used 1inch, no gas fee when using Limit Orders. Once it's filled send the eth to your exchange.

        • 1inch not support SG token. But it may proxy the order to uniswap to have it executed.

Yes that limit order is convenient, convenient things are also easy to be hacked and hurt you .
