This thread serves to let everyone know how much you have saved on your 7/11 fuel app. Please see the archived thread (January 2017 - January 2022) for previous discussions.

Step 1: Subscribe to this thread to get email updates. You can change your subscription settings in your Ozbargain account to enable more/less email updates.

Step 2: Upon filling up simply fill in the details in this format:

  • NAME OF 7/11 STORE
  • PETROL TYPE
  • PETROL PRICE

    So I'm new to the 7/11 app, I know it had issues yesterday with everyone spamming it.. I can not lock in any prices, just get a Uh Oh! blah blah Error A01. Just wondering if this is happening to everyone currently or just me?

      I think A01 is an account lock limit. Only two locks per 24 hours per account.
      Edit: I tried testing it by doing another lock, but my two locks yesterday were at approx 4:15 to 4:30pm AEST, which is now greater than 24 hours ago.

        A01 and A02 can appear during activation, also accepting terms and conditions after activation/old account before t&cs introduced/ just signing in

        I saw heaps of A01 and A02 during last nights period even on accounts unused for a long time.

        May mean some sort of response timeout from the app to 7/11 servers

        I'm not so sure about the two locks per 24 hrs limitation, we only had one guy confirm it on this thread.

        Most of the experienced pilots here have a truckton of accounts we rotate so we would never hit this issue

      Click "My card" on the top right hand corner to see if you have any card number. I created my account when everyone was spamming it, and I had no card number. I kept getting Error A01 when I tried to lock in any price. I had to delete the account and create a new one to get the issue fixed.

    Sorry guys, new to this, just rooted my s10 with magisk using appninja gps to set my location, but everytime i open 'fuel lock' i get 'uh oh!, we've detected your location isn't true'
    Anything i'm missing?

      You're missing safety net unlock. You can test with this app I believe

        I suspect Smali patcher module hasn't been done yet.

        E01 error is when you attempt to actually lock (safetynet test fail upon requesting the actual lock)

          Safetynet is showing as 'failed'. Response signature validation: Fail (response payload validation failed)

          I'm also on android 12….

                @GuniGuGu: ok… i got passed it by boolting into recovery and wiping the cache partition… but it seems magisk is no longer 'installed'.

            Smali Patcher does not work for Android 12
            You'll need mock mock locations instead

            SafetyNet fix - you need Lsposed Zygisk and in Magisk settings, Zygote daemon enabled.

            I note there is a newer version of Magisk now (my experience is based on Android 11, and Magisk 24.3, Magisk v25 appears to have become available last month)

    hi Guys, I flashed my xiaomi 4s to lineage OS 18 (Android 11). (Stock ROM is only Android 7)

    I have installed Magisk and related modules and LSPosed Zygisk module too , but getting error with Smali Patcher on my PC ( it shows an VM related error in the log during patching in the Java program)

    the 7 & Eleven APP shows the phone is not supported ( due to bootloader is unlocked ?)

    Though I do have iphone and the nox method working, thought it would be nice to have an Android phone working too. Curious whats the best method to get this old xiaomi phone to work with the 7 eleven APP

      Did you run Smali Patcher as Administrator?

      the 7 & Eleven APP shows the phone is not supported ( due to bootloader is unlocked ?)

      Not supported can mean SafetyNet test fail as well or MagiskHide not enabled (but not available on LineageOS 18.1/newer magisk)

      Have you done:
      - Universal SafetyNet Fix module?
      - Enabled Magisk Zygisk (Beta) in Magisk Manager
      - Zygisk - Lsposed module within Magisk

      I have a Mi5s working using LineageOS 17.1 (on Android 10)

      Try downloading the free safetynet test on the app store

        711app Locking is working now after installing safetynetFix ( but without needing Terminal/Termux, and Safteynet test did show fail on basic integrity & CTS profile match)

        so for my scenario , i didnt have to have use the Smalier patcher after all.

        By the way, do you recommend multiple 711apps running on the phone ? what clone app do you recommend?

          Multiple 7/11 apps not possible since the fuel lock request attempts to do a safetynet test as well. Clones have different app signatures which will fail this stage

          You can use multi 7/11 apps for viewing only, but not for locking

          I use app Cloner and their premium add in but not for 7/11 for the reasons above

    If my google account got banned (who knows why), can I assume this is why my 7 11 lock aint working?

      Do you suspect this is because your gmail address is used as your 7-Eleven username? I doubt it, but it could be. Is there anything stopping you from creating a new 7-Eleven account? What error are you seeing when trying to lock in a fuel price?

        different email adress used for 7-11 account. I have multiple accounts, the 7-11 account isnt the issue as I just tried and it works on my normal non rooted phone to lock in.
        On the rooted phone, it doesnt even lock in when im using my real location (Error E01 (faking or not)) Im guessing maybe my app isnt updated or it needs my google account for something. Will try and change google account tmr

          Thats safetynet test fail.

          What version of safetynet fix have you got on your rooted phone?

            @cwongtech: Honestly im clueless, I did this so long ago, all I know is I followed the guide at the top on the pokemon go subreddit and maybe used the txt guide a bit but I dont remember installing anything on terminal (Although I may have as I have terminal on the phone (pre-installed maybe)).
            I know im on magisk 23.0 not 24+ with zygisk.
            when I do safetynet check on magisk it passes and says sucess. I was going to install a safety net checker on playstore someone recommended when I realised my account was banned.

              Hold on - is this a google email ban?

              If my google account got banned (who knows why)

              Did you set up 7/11 alerts from one google account (Master's P03 alerts) to multiple destination emails?

              I got my main google account banned this way (and unbanned after I appealed and told them I'm emailing myself and not spamming randoms).

                Never set up any 7/11 alerts at all like ive seen people do. Literally done nothing on the account other than install 7/11.

                Just realised, its prob cause I sideloaded google apps onto the phone as its not just rooted, its a new OS or whatever without any google apps. (used gapps or something like that)

          That is correct. Buyer's beware though, the petrol station can do a sneaky and not use your code. happened to my sis until she checked receipt and it wasn't at the discount price. Teller say 7-11 app not working so just gave her the "truckie" discount or something and told her to contact 7-11 for the difference.

          Not sure if it's genuinely didn't work or they trying to do a sneaky.

              @delpy: It can't be cheaper than the pump price. You either pay the pump price or your locked price whichever is lower as per t&cs. Not sure if the locked price will be released if used at station with lower pump price. Never tried.

                @PPlater: No, the pump price was more than the locked price but the app did not unlock my price after being used. I know the price that I paid was cheaper than the pump price but (because I didn't check the receipt) I don't know whether I paid the locked price or some other discount.

                  @delpy: IC haven't encounter this issue but encountered a couple of times when one attendant couldn't apply the lock twice but another bloke, senior staff, i supposed fiddled with the till and it worked. This maybe the sneaky one like what neoX mentioned. 😁😁

      Was it a lock at Wantirna? Everyone's lock there got removed and 7 Eleven is claiming price error.

        Oh, were they? I locked that on my wife's account but haven't checked if it was still there.

        This was actually the opposite problem. I tried to lock Wantirna on my account but an old price that I've already used is still locked.

        Cool. My account hasn’t been locked. The website says Velocity members should allow up to 24 hours for Velocity Points to appear in their Velocity Membership Account following an Eligible Purchase, so I thought that might have been the issue.

    Hi, l have been radi ng through the posts on this forum. l am looking to buy an Iphone 7 in 2 days time with the purpose of doing the 7/11 fuel lock. l will be using 3utools on a Windows laptop. l am wondering if there would be an issue with getting an Iphone 7 on ios 15. Would this phone be too old for 3utools to change the location using coordinates in the app? Does the Ios operating level of 15 poae any problems? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

      I have an old iphone 7, it's on 15.5

      I just tested it on 3utools and had no problem flying from Melbourne to Perth…

      I'm using an iPhone SE which is an iPhone 6 in the size/form of an iPhone 5. Runs 15.5 and works just fine, I've been using iFakeLocation.

      You should be able to on jailbroken iOS. You can’t on Android.

        You can on android. I use the Island app which uses a work profile to create a separate environment for other apps, passes safetynet and everything. Although you can only make one copy.

    Want to see if it works, I copied the coordinates on refinery but how do I copy them into the emulator? right click doesn't work when using NOX.
    Is there a way to copy paste them or do I have to type it manually?

    I placed my location manually via the map in FakeGPS, now I'm trying to log in my7eleven app but the keyword doesn't show up to type my logins. In the settings I turned on virtual keybowrd but still nothing. Any idea?

    Ok so I ended up installing swiftkey and it did the trick.

    So it seems to have worked the app located me where I wanted it to but I can't see the price of fuel is it normal?

      That price of fuel not showing is a display issue

      You need to go into the android device's display settings and toggle the display smaller or larger and find one which displays the price, no way to tell which setting is the right one without just trying and switching back to 7/11 to check

      I have 9 physical chopper phones, some of them are on the newer app and it's random which one is hit by this visual price-missing issue.

      It's a glitch with the newer version of 7/11 app

        I'm using NOX on my pc and I will have to sign in My7eleven app on my phone in order to redeem the locked price, will that get my account flagged or something? I was thinking to remove location permissions for the 7eleven app on my phone.

        Also, can I lock in fuel price across Australia or should I stick to my state? I'm wondering if 7eleven can figure out when someone lock in a price in WA and the next day buy fuel in NSW?

          Switch IPs is the most basic you can do. Use a VPN on your hosting comp, or connect via mobile hotspot. Thats how some paid services get caught because basic precautions are not taken

          Thats your decision, I've got a truckton of accounts so I don't really care about if a couple of 7/11 accounts get banned, I've always locked all over Australia

          It's also very easy to just make a new account when needed (new email required) if your account ever gets banned

            I can definitely connect my pc to the internet via my mobile hotspot when I helicopter, easy.

              Yep, if you want to simulate breaking it (causing the displayed price to disappear) you can go to your phone's display settings and changing the "Display Size"

                Just ensure you log out of the account each time, then log inwith different credentials.

      Butler WA is currently cheapest for U91 (167.9) U95 (179.9) and U98 (187.9). The great thing about WA prices are that after 6pm AEST we'll know if they are going to remain there tomorrow. Refinery.fyi will have the info too.
