            @BJReplay:

Agreed - No need to apologise

One of the problems of the world today is that people have stopped apologising.

You seem to have it worked out now, but anyway… my main phone is also Android, but I find it much easier to use an old iPhone and 3UTools.

Just get the 711 app on both devices, log out of Android, log into iPhone, connect it to PC, open 3UTools, find device and set location, set fuel lock, log out of iPhone, log back into Android.

The whole process only takes about 5 minutes.

      • +1

Yes but you need to have a pc, and cannot lock in on the go using iphone, where as if you get it working on the Android it should take about 1-2 mins depends how fast you are at locking and you can do it anywhere anytime

        • +1

If you have an iPhone that’s on an iOS that can be jailbroken (different versions iOS 14 and below) then you can lock on the go.

          • @sween64: Yes, both jailbreaking iphones and rooting android phones the are are the way to go in my opinion

        • you can do it anywhere anytime

Can do that with my windows tablet and iphone.

          • @jv: You carry your windows tablet everywhere you go? Suit yourself mate, I definitely wouldn't want to do that

            • @Toffcuz:

You carry your windows tablet everywhere you go?

              I have big pockets.

Just an update for those who use iFakeLocation; the latest version is now compatible with iOS 16 beta and enables a crucial "Developer Mode" toggle (regardless if you're using Windows/Ubuntu/macOS) in the settings which is usually only visible while using Xcode software on a Mac.

    • Hey I've noticed today I couldn't get the iFakeLocation v1.6 open anymore. When I double click it doesn't open up the browser like it usually does. (I've been using it for a while worked flawlessly on macosx)

I've tried to use your updated 1.7 (Did all the security thing and installed the newer dotnet requirement) but when I click it doesn't open up the browser. It just doesn't open at all. Any idea?

I even tried to open it up with the terminal to see if there are any error logs, but it doesn't seem to output any logs.

New android version on the play store. Version 2.17.2.

Has anyone updated and tested yet? Any issues?

    • +1

I'm suspicious about the update details "Customers will not get extra information about how they can use their Fuel Price Lock, before locking it in."

  • -1

    Hi Guys,

I can no longer lock price (E01) after an app update (with "Pay & Go") on my Redmi Note 7, even the SafetyNet check is all good. After re-installing the old version (no "Pay & Go") it worked again. Just want to know I'm not alone. And any potential solution?

  • +1

Can someone tell me not used 7/11 fuel lock I’m currently away and wife will use car while I’m away.
I have a fuel lock expires 30/8 which I assume is end of day.
But it’s me that has the app and the lock if I send her the screen shot can she use it? And am I right I send here my barcode linked to my app to use it?
Can they refuse her after she put’s in the fuel that it’s not her app or barcode and want to charge her what it actually is on that day.

    • +3

I have a fuel lock expires 30/8 which I assume is end of day.

Nope, the time is displayed on the fuel lock. It is exactly the time you locked 7 days earlier

    • +1

Can they refuse her after she put’s in the fuel

Yep they can refuse, you have to pay the pump price then contact 7-11 via the app for a refund.

Why don't you get her to log into your account and use it that way?

    • +1

Yes u can send her a screenshot of the barcode

      They should accept it.

Can they turn her down? Yes.. For any same reason they might turn u down if u rocked up with the actual app (eg systems down, whatever).

      • (eg systems down, whatever).

Then you can submit a dispute through the app, you can't with a screenshot.

        • He can still submit it thru the app if they reject the screenshot from the wife

Altho if locked via a chopper, might be better to just leave it alone and accept paying that rate for that tank.

    • +2

screen shot works for me always.. never had an issue

  • Getting A01 lockin errors this morning on two different devices (one android, one apple)
    Anyone else suffering the same?

    • Well I don't see A01 error but 7-11 app on ipad keep searching for best price but does not lock it.

      • Have you tried closing the app and re-opening it.

        This happens to me often.

    • +1

Im getting A01 errors this morning too

      • 7/11 seem to have flagged some accounts. Create a new account and it should work

      • +3

Previously A01 was due to server probelm. Not sure if it now means disabled accounts tho. Looks like using another account worked.

    • Thanks, looks like time to make a new 7 11 account then :)

  • Any way of getting chopper for android NON ROOT ?

    • +1

      short answer, no.

      long answer, nooooooooooooooooooo.

      • +1

        Thanks
seems like I will need to invest on a garbo broken screen iphone i guess sometime in future just for sake of adding 7 11 occasional vouchers like for maybe 7 times in a year use.

        • +1

check the pinned post about the emulator, else easier to just get an iphone if you're not technically minded.

          • @NeoX: Thanks mate finally got it to work after spending 1 hr almost on this thing.

Hopefully it'll stay like this when I go to interstate every now and then

Just a question, If I was to download 711 app on normal phone afterwards, and use app on phone, wont 711 be able to see my location (of being interstate or far away from the 711 app from nox emu ? )
Or the key is to only open the app in phone when at the fill up 711 location ?

  • Diesel from what I can remember use to remain steady with not much change from week to week, used to not worry about buying at the high etc cos diesel prices don't fluctate. Recently I'm seeing that it fluctuate in prices similar to petrol weekly. Is there a reason for this or am I seeing things? Is it cos price of oil/energy from all the stuff happening around the world thus it affects diesel too?

  • it seems we cannot use the locked price from different states.

    • Really.. Attendant not allowing u?

      • My price lock got cancelled (locked on Thursday) when I went to the fuel station today.

        • So it was automatically cancelled by the app and not rejected by the attendant?

          • @tdw: yes.

            • +1

@dealhunter-au: i filled up just before midnight and the fuel lock went through. didn't get questioned by attendant or anything. i did have to use a screenshot cos the app wouldn't load when i went to pay.

locked in on 28/8 at 1.605 Truganina VIC

    • Tell them it’s from the same state and make up some random suburb. Or check for a suburb name for the cheapest on 11/7.

      • I am in WA and I used VIC.

        • They don’t know that. Just say you locked in from WA last Wednesday or something like that

  • Would anyone know why I cant copy/paste coordinates into 3utools? I have to type out the coords in the long and lat fields. Cant understand why, perhaps someone has had similar?

    • +3

Just type the suburb… You don't need to be gps co-ordinate accurate

      • didnt kno can do that; i usually just do 2 decimal places

  • I just got the Nox emulator on PC to work for fuel locks but I noticed how it only uses Android 9. If I were to use an actual android phone is android 9 the minimum or is android 10 still the minimum as mentioned in the Cwongtech guide?

  • +2

Got "questioned" by an attendant today as I used a lock (not even a huge savings like 10c/L) - he was like "fake location huh?" and then said something else which I couldn't really hear clearly and pointed to the screen (I didn't say anything back other than tap my credit card). But the 7/11 card still scanned and got the discount as usual.

Already unlinked my Velocity as usual but will I expecting a G09 soon?

    • How far away was you lock location?

      • +3

let's just say the chopper was flying very very fast that day

    • +4

      Which 7/11?

    • I assume the attendants don't actually give a shit.à

      • +1

the fact that he still rang it up as normal made me think he maybe was less serious and more of a "yeah we know what your'e doing too ha ha ha"

    • +2

Not even sure why you unlinked velocity. I honestly wouldn't worry about it.

    • +1

just avoid that 7/11 next time
why would they give a shit, it's not their money

      • +5

probably the store owner. but i've known a store owner that would get excited about the freebies in the app and even tell me the next day's freebies (this was a few years back). guess it just depends on the person and how big a stick they've got up them

    • +1

Why should they care!!? The sheer fact that you are filling up at 7/11 and not somehere else means the loyalty program is working. He should be thanking you for your business.

  • +2

3uTools doesn't seem to be working with iOS16 yet. If you solely use iPhone and 3uTools to lock fuel, I would avoid updating to iOS16.

    • +1

confirm it is Not working now with iOS16 should have check here first :(

Hopefully new 3uTools will be update soon, given the petrol excise relief is ending in 2 weeks time :(

      • +2

petrol excise relief is ending in 2 weeks time

        NO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • +1

I got it working by disabling faceid and passcode followed by faking the location. It could then reboot and developer mode would activate. Locked in normally after doing all that.

        • Thanks I was getting the same message, this worked for me to get “developer mode “ enabled 👍

    • Ditto!

Used my old iPhone X to place a lock.

    • +4

iFakeLocation is compatible; you can use it as a starting point to enable Developer Mode (attempt to set a fake location with iFakeLocation first, and then it will ask you to enable the hidden Developer Mode option in Settings). Afterwards you can then switch to 3utools if you prefer to use that instead.

  • Just broke the screen on my chopper 😢

  • Any iFakeLocation users experience with iOS16 so far?

    • Yes am using it, but need to turn on developer mode, in iPhone while locking. Not use any method to bypass it

      • but need to turn on developer mode

Do you have developer account? I don’t see the option

  • +3

Hi All, For IOS16 If your developer mode is not displayed try this method. Installing AltStore enables the option to be enabled. It worked for me and 3utools is now flying my chopper to lock in locations. Timeframe (~30min stuffing around installations)

    • +5

FYI, iFakeLocation can also reveal the Developer Mode setting when you attempt to set a fake location on iOS 16.

      • thanks

      • Tried faking a location, get mount error. No option for developer mode shown. Using iPhone 12 Mini on iOS 16. Any suggestions?

        • +2

Are you using iFakeLocation v1.7.0 and is your phone unlocked when you're doing this?

  • +1

Anyone having issues locking in price?
    Seeing "Oops no connection!" error

    • me too

    • Same here, not sure what's causing it

    • Same for me, can find cheapest price but cant lock it.

  • same here

  • +3

    It’s working again.
Was able to lock in just now.

  • I am also having issues after updating to ios16 and even turning on the developer mode. When i set the location in iFakelocation and press set it didn’t do anything. The 7-11 app still detects my true location 🤔

    • All good now. My bad 🤣

      • How did you turn on the dev mode? Cant find that option on my phone.

  • Anyone having an issue with ios16 when turning off ifakelocation stuffs up your actual location?
Worked fine locking in petrol, when i turned ifake off, my location is now showing me a radius and not my true location :/

    • Anyone having an issue with ios16

      I can't even install ios16.

15.7 is what shows up as the latest.

      • +2

It shows up as ‘also available’ at bottom

        • thanks.

      • -1

Time to upgrade your phone 🙃

        • nope, no need…

  • +2

Happy to lock in for the next little while this evening if anyone needs it: DM me.

    • +4

Wow I kinda expected to get bowled over with requests… I only got one request a day later and they still haven't given me their login details so I don't know how I'm supposed to help lol.

      • +1

Probably because a lot of non 7/11 servos have their prices still low

      • Your a good man, its just that 7/11 is not the cheapest right now and hasnt been for a while (at least i can speak for sydney).
